1 Adam, Seth, Enosh;
௧ஆதாம், சேத், ஏனோஸ்,
2 Kenan, Mahalalel, Jared,
௨கேனான், மகலாலெயேல், யாரேத்,
3 Enoch, Methuselah, Lamech;
௩ஏனோக்கு, மெத்தூசலா, லாமேக்கு,
4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
௪நோவா, சேம், காம், யாப்பேத்.
5 The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.
௫யாப்பேத்தின் மகன்கள் கோமர், மாகோகு, மாதாய், யாவான், தூபால், மேசேக்கு, தீராஸ் என்பவர்கள்.
6 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Diphath and Togarmah.
௬கோமருடைய மகன்கள் அஸ்கினாஸ், ரீப்பாத்து, தொகர்மா என்பவர்கள்.
7 And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.
௭யாவானுடைய மகன்கள், எலீசா, தர்ஷீஸ், கித்தீம், தொதானீம் என்பவர்கள்.
8 The sons of Ham: Cush and Egypt, Put and Canaan.
௮காமின் மகன்கள், கூஷ், மிஸ்ராயிம், பூத், கானான் என்பவர்கள்.
9 And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabta and Raama and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
௯கூஷின் மகன்கள், சேபா, ஆவிலா, சப்தா, ராமா, சப்திகா என்பவர்கள்; ராமாவின் மகன்கள், சேபா, திதான் என்பவர்கள்.
10 And Cush was the father of Nimrod: he was the first to be a great man in the earth.
௧0கூஷ் நிம்ரோதைப் பெற்றான்; இவன் பூமியிலே பலசாலியானான்.
11 And Egypt was the father of the Ludim and the Anamim and the Lehabim and the Naphtuhim
௧௧மிஸ்ராயிம் லூதீமியர்களையும், ஆனாமியர்களையும், லெகாபீயர்களையும், நப்தூகீயர்களையும்,
12 And the Pathrusim and the Casluhim and the Caphtorim (from whom came the Philistines).
௧௨பத்ருசியர்களையும், பெலிஸ்தர்களைப் பெற்ற கஸ்லூகியர்களையும், கப்தொரீயர்களையும் பெற்றான்.
13 And Canaan was the father of Zidon, his oldest son, and Heth,
௧௩கானான் தன்னுடைய மூத்தமகனாகிய சீதோனையும், ஏத்தையும்,
14 And the Jebusite and the Amorite and the Girgashite,
௧௪எபூசியர்களையும், எமோரியர்களையும், கிர்காசியர்களையும்,
15 And the Hivite and the Arkite and the Sinite,
௧௫ஏவியர்களையும், அர்கீயர்களையும், சீனியர்களையும்,
16 And the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite.
௧௬அர்வாதியர்களையும், செமாரியர்களையும், ஆமாத்தியர்களையும் பெற்றான்.
17 The sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram and Uz and Hul and Gether and Meshech.
௧௭சேமின் மகன்கள், ஏலாம், அசூர், அர்பக்சாத், லூத், ஆராம், ஊத்ஸ், கூல், கேத்தெர், மேசேக் என்பவர்கள்.
18 And Arpachshad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.
௧௮அர்பக்சாத் சாலாவைப் பெற்றான்; சாலா ஏபேரைப் பெற்றான்.
19 And Eber had two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, because in his days a division was made of the earth; and his brother's name was Joktan.
௧௯ஏபேருக்கு இரண்டு மகன்கள் பிறந்தார்கள்; ஒருவனுடைய பெயர் பேலேகு, ஏனெனில் அவனுடைய நாட்களில் பூமி பிரிக்கப்பட்டது; அவனுடைய சகோதரன் பெயர் யொக்தான்.
20 And Joktan was the father of Almodad and Sheleph and Hazarmaveth and Jerah
௨0யொக்தான் அல்மோதாதையும், சாலேப்பையும், அசர்மாவேத்தையும், யேராகையும்,
21 And Hadoram and Uzal and Diklah
௨௧அதோராமையும், ஊசாலையும், திக்லாவையும்,
22 And Ebal and Abimael and Sheba
௨௨ஏபாலையும், அபிமாவேலையும், சேபாவையும்,
23 And Ophir and Havilah and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
௨௩ஓப்பீரையும், ஆவிலாவையும், யோபாபையும், பெற்றான்; இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் யொக்தானின் மகன்கள்.
24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
௨௪சேம், அர்பக்சாத், சாலா,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
௨௫ஏபேர், பேலேகு, ரெகூ,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
௨௬செரூகு, நாகோர், தேராகு,
27 Abram (that is Abraham).
௨௭ஆபிராமாகிய ஆபிரகாம்.
28 The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
௨௮ஆபிரகாமின் மகன்கள், ஈசாக்கு, இஸ்மவேல் என்பவர்கள்.
29 These are their generations: the oldest son of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar and Adbeel and Mibsam,
௨௯இவர்களுடைய சந்ததிகளாவன: இஸ்மவேலின் மூத்த மகனாகிய நெபாயோத், கேதார், அத்பியேல், மிப்சாம்,
30 Mishma and Dumah, Massa, Hadad and Tema,
௩0மிஷ்மா, தூமா, மாசா, ஆதாத், தேமா,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
௩௧யெத்தூர், நாபீஸ், கேத்மா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் இஸ்மவேலின் மகன்கள்.
32 And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's servant-wife: she was the mother of Zimran and Jokshan and Medan and Midian and Ishbak and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
௩௨ஆபிரகாமின் மறுமனையாட்டியாகிய கேத்தூராள் பெற்ற மகன்கள் சிம்ரான், யக்க்ஷான், மேதான், மீதியான், இஸ்பாக், சூவா என்பவர்கள்; யக்க்ஷானினுடைய மகன்கள் சேபா, தேதான் என்பவர்கள்.
33 And the sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
௩௩மீதியானின் மகன்கள் ஏப்பா, ஏப்பேர், ஆனோக்கு, அபீதா, எல்தாகா என்பவர்கள்; இவர்கள் எல்லோரும் கேத்தூராளின் மகன்கள்.
34 And Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
௩௪ஆபிரகாம் ஈசாக்கைப் பெற்றான்; ஈசாக்கின் மகன்கள் ஏசா, இஸ்ரவேல் என்பவர்கள்.
35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel and Jeush and Jalam and Korah.
௩௫ஏசாவின் மகன்கள் எலிப்பாஸ், ரெகுவேல், எயூஷ், யாலாம், கோராகு என்பவர்கள்.
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman and Omar, Zephi and Gatam, Kenaz and Timna and Amalek.
௩௬எலிப்பாசினுடைய மகன்கள் தேமான், ஓமார், செப்பி, கத்தாம், கேனாஸ், திம்னா, அமலேக்கு என்பவர்கள்.
37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
௩௭ரெகுவேலினுடைய மகன்கள் நகாத், செராகு, சம்மா, மீசா என்பவர்கள்.
38 And the sons of Seir: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah and Dishon and Ezer and Dishan.
௩௮சேயீரின் மகன்கள் லோத்தான், சோபால், சிபியோன், ஆனா, தீசோன், ஏத்சேர், திஷோன் என்பவர்கள்.
39 And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
௩௯லோத்தான் மகன்கள் ஓரி, ஓமாம் என்பவர்கள்; லோத்தானின் சகோதரி திம்னாள் என்பவள்.
40 The sons of Shobal: Alian and Manahath and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.
௪0சோபாலின் மகன்கள் அல்வான், மானகாத், ஏபால், செப்பி, ஓனாம் என்பவர்கள்; சிபியோனின் மகன்கள் அயா, ஆனாகு என்பவர்கள்.
41 The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.
௪௧ஆனாகின் மகன்களில் ஒருவன் திஷோன் என்பவன்; திஷோனின் மகன்கள் அம்ராம், எஸ்பான், இத்தரான், கெரான் என்பவர்கள்.
42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
௪௨திஷானின் மகன்கள் பில்கான், சகவான், யாக்கான் என்பவர்கள்; ஏத்சேரின் மகன்கள் ஊத்ஸ், அரான் என்பவர்கள்.
43 Now these are the kings who were ruling in the land of Edom, before there was any king over Israel: Bela, the son of Beor; his town was named Dinhabah.
௪௩இஸ்ரவேலர்களை ஒரு இராஜா ஆளாததற்குமுன்னே, ஏதோம் தேசத்தில் அரசாண்ட இராஜாக்கள்: பேயோரின் மகன் பேலா என்பவன்; இவனுடைய பட்டணத்தின் பெயர் தின்காபா.
44 At his death, Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, became king in his place.
௪௪பேலா இறந்தபின்பு போஸ்றா ஊரைச்சேர்ந்த சேராகின் மகன் யோபாப் அவன் இருந்த இடத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
45 At the death of Jobab, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, became king in his place.
௪௫யோபாப் இறந்தபின்பு, தேமானியர்களுடைய தேசத்தானாகிய ஊஷாம் அவன் இருந்த இடத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
46 And at the death of Husham, Hadad, the son of Bedad, who overcame Midian in the field of Moab, became king; his town was named Avith.
௪௬ஊஷாம் இறந்தபின்பு, பேதாதின் மகன் ஆதாத் அவன் இருந்த இடத்தில் இராஜாவானான், இவன் மீதியானியர்களை மோவாபின் நாட்டிலே தோற்கடித்தவன்; இவனுடைய பட்டணத்தின் பெயர் ஆவீத்.
47 And at the death of Hadad, Samlah of Masrekah became king in his place.
௪௭ஆதாத் இறந்தபின்பு, மஸ்ரேக்கா ஊரைச்சேர்ந்த சம்லா அவன் இருந்த இடத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
48 And at the death of Samlah, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river became king in his place,
௪௮சம்லா இறந்தபின்பு, நதியோரமான ரெகொபோத்தானாகிய சவுல் அவன் இருந்த இடத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
49 And at the death of Shaul, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, became king in his place.
௪௯சவுல் இறந்தபின்பு, அக்போரின் மகன் பாகாலானான் அவன் இருந்த இடத்தில் இராஜாவானான்.
50 And at the death of Baal-hanan, Hadad became king in his place; his town was named Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
௫0பாகாலானான் இறந்தபின்பு, ஆதாத் அவன் இருந்த இடத்தில் இராஜாவானான்; இவனுடைய பட்டணத்தினுடைய பெயர் பாகி; மேசகாபின் மகளாகிய மத்ரேத்தின் மகளான அவனுடைய மனைவியின் பெயர் மெகேதபேல்.
51 And Hadad came to his end. Now the chiefs of Edom were: the chief of Timna, the chief of Aliah, the chief of Jetheth,
௫௧ஆதாத் இறந்தபின்பு, ஏதோமை அரசாண்ட பிரபுக்கள்; திம்னா பிரபு, அல்வா பிரபு, எதேத் பிரபு,
52 The chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon,
௫௨அகோலிபாமா பிரபு, ஏலா பிரபு, பினோன் பிரபு,
53 The chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar,
௫௩கேனாஸ் பிரபு, தேமான் பிரபு, மிப்சார் பிரபு,
54 The chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
௫௪மக்தியேல் பிரபு, ஈராம் பிரபு, இவர்களே ஏதோமின் பிரபுக்கள்.
