4 Noah, Shem, Ham, and Japheth.
੪ਨੂਹ, ਸ਼ੇਮ, ਹਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਯਾਫ਼ਥ।
5 The sons of Japheth: Gomer and Magog and Madai and Javan and Tubal and Meshech and Tiras.
੫ਯਾਫ਼ਥ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਗੋਮਰ, ਮਾਗੋਗ, ਮਾਦਈ, ਯਾਵਾਨ, ਤੂਬਲ, ਮੇਸ਼ੇਕ ਅਤੇ ਤੀਰਾਸ।
6 And the sons of Gomer: Ashkenaz and Diphath and Togarmah.
੬ਗੋਮਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਅਸ਼ਕਨਜ਼, ਰੀਫ਼ਥ ਅਤੇ ਤੋਗਰਮਾਹ
7 And the sons of Javan: Elishah and Tarshish, Kittim and Rodanim.
੭ਯਾਵਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਅਲੀਸ਼ਾਹ, ਤਰਸ਼ੀਸ਼, ਕਿੱਤੀਮ ਅਤੇ ਦੋਦਾਨੀਮ।
8 The sons of Ham: Cush and Egypt, Put and Canaan.
੮ਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਕੂਸ਼, ਮਿਸਰਾਇਮ, ਪੂਟ ਅਤੇ ਕਨਾਨ।
9 And the sons of Cush: Seba and Havilah and Sabta and Raama and Sabteca. And the sons of Raamah: Sheba and Dedan.
੯ਕੂਸ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਸਬਾ, ਹਵੀਲਾਹ, ਸਬਤਾਹ, ਰਾਮਾਹ, ਸਬਤਕਾ। ਰਾਮਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਸ਼ਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਦਾਨ।
10 And Cush was the father of Nimrod: he was the first to be a great man in the earth.
੧੦ਕੂਸ਼ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਨਿਮਰੋਦ ਸੀ। ਉਹ ਧਰਤੀ ਉੱਤੇ ਪਹਿਲਾ ਸੂਰਬੀਰ ਹੋਇਆ।
11 And Egypt was the father of the Ludim and the Anamim and the Lehabim and the Naphtuhim
੧੧ਮਿਸਰਾਇਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਲੂਦੀ, ਅਨਾਮੀ, ਲਹਾਬੀ, ਨਫ਼ਤੂਹੀ,
12 And the Pathrusim and the Casluhim and the Caphtorim (from whom came the Philistines).
੧੨ਪਤਰੂਸੀ, ਕੁਸਲੂਹੀ ਅਤੇ ਕਫ਼ਤੋਰੀ ਸਨ। ਕੁਸਲੂਹੀ ਤੋਂ ਫ਼ਲਿਸਤੀ ਨਿੱਕਲੇ।
13 And Canaan was the father of Zidon, his oldest son, and Heth,
੧੩ਕਨਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਸੀਦੋਨ ਉਹ ਦਾ ਪਹਿਲੌਠਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਹੇਤ,
14 And the Jebusite and the Amorite and the Girgashite,
੧੪ਯਬੂਸੀ, ਅਮੋਰੀ, ਗਿਰਗਾਸ਼ੀ,
15 And the Hivite and the Arkite and the Sinite,
੧੫ਹਿੱਵੀ, ਅਰਕੀ, ਸੀਨੀ,
16 And the Arvadite and the Zemarite and the Hamathite.
੧੬ਅਰਵਾਦੀ, ਸਮਾਰੀ ਅਤੇ ਹਮਾਥੀ।
17 The sons of Shem: Elam and Asshur and Arpachshad and Lud and Aram and Uz and Hul and Gether and Meshech.
੧੭ਸ਼ੇਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਏਲਾਮ, ਅੱਸ਼ੂਰ, ਅਰਪਕਸਦ, ਲੂਦ, ਅਰਾਮ, ਊਸ, ਹੂਲ, ਗਥਰ ਅਤੇ ਮੇਸ਼ੇਕ।
18 And Arpachshad was the father of Shelah, and Shelah was the father of Eber.
੧੮ਅਰਪਕਸਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸ਼ਾਲਹ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ਾਲਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਏਬਰ ਸੀ।
19 And Eber had two sons: the name of the one was Peleg, because in his days a division was made of the earth; and his brother's name was Joktan.
੧੯ਏਬਰ ਦੇ ਦੋ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ। ਇੱਕ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪੇਲੇਗ ਸੀ ਕਿਉਂਕਿ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਦਿਨਾਂ ਵਿੱਚ ਧਰਤੀ ਵੰਡੀ ਗਈ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਭਰਾ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਯਾਕਤਾਨ ਸੀ।
20 And Joktan was the father of Almodad and Sheleph and Hazarmaveth and Jerah
੨੦ਯਾਕਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਅਲਮੋਦਾਦ, ਸ਼ਾਲਫ, ਹਸਰਮਾਵਥ, ਯਾਰਹ,
21 And Hadoram and Uzal and Diklah
੨੧ਹਦੋਰਾਮ, ਊਜ਼ਾਲ, ਦਿਕਲਾਹ,
22 And Ebal and Abimael and Sheba
੨੨ਓਬਾਲ, ਅਬੀਮਾਏਲ, ਸ਼ਬਾ,
23 And Ophir and Havilah and Jobab. All these were the sons of Joktan.
੨੩ਓਫੀਰ, ਹਵੀਲਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਯੋਬਾਬ। ਇਹ ਸਾਰੇ ਯਾਕਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ।
24 Shem, Arpachshad, Shelah,
੨੪ਸ਼ੇਮ, ਅਰਪਕਸਦ, ਸ਼ਾਲਹ,
25 Eber, Peleg, Reu,
੨੫ਏਬਰ, ਪੇਲੇਗ, ਰਊ,
26 Serug, Nahor, Terah,
੨੬ਸਰੂਗ, ਨਾਹੋਰ, ਤਾਰਹ
27 Abram (that is Abraham).
੨੭ਅਬਰਾਮ ਜੋ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਹੈ।
28 The sons of Abraham: Isaac and Ishmael.
੨੮ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ, ਇਸਹਾਕ ਤੇ ਇਸਮਾਏਲ ਸਨ।
29 These are their generations: the oldest son of Ishmael, Nebaioth; then Kedar and Adbeel and Mibsam,
੨੯ਇਹ ਉਨ੍ਹਾਂ ਦੀ ਵੰਸ਼ਾਵਲੀ ਹੈ, ਇਸਮਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਪਹਿਲੌਠਾ ਨਬਾਯੋਤ, ਫਿਰ ਕੇਦਾਰ, ਅਦਬਏਲ, ਮਿਬਸਾਮ,
30 Mishma and Dumah, Massa, Hadad and Tema,
੩੦ਮਿਸ਼ਮਾ, ਦੂਮਾਹ, ਮੱਸਾ, ਹਦਦ, ਤੇਮਾ,
31 Jetur, Naphish, and Kedemah. These are the sons of Ishmael.
੩੧ਯਤੂਰ, ਨਾਫ਼ੀਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਕੇਦਮਾਹ। ਇਹ ਇਸਮਾਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ।
32 And the sons of Keturah, Abraham's servant-wife: she was the mother of Zimran and Jokshan and Medan and Midian and Ishbak and Shuah. And the sons of Jokshan: Sheba and Dedan.
੩੨ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੀ ਦਾਸੀ ਕਤੂਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਜਿਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਉਸ ਨੇ ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਦੇ ਲਈ ਜਨਮ ਦਿੱਤਾ: ਜਿਮਰਾਨ, ਯਾਕਸਾਨ, ਮਦਾਨ, ਮਿਦਯਾਨ, ਯਿਸ਼ਬਾਕ ਅਤੇ ਸ਼ੁਆਹ। ਯਾਕਸਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਸ਼ਬਾ ਅਤੇ ਦਦਾਨ।
33 And the sons of Midian: Ephah and Epher and Hanoch and Abida and Eldaah. All these were the sons of Keturah.
੩੩ਮਿਦਯਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਏਫਾਹ, ਏਫਰ, ਹਨੋਕ, ਅਬੀਦਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਲਦਾਅ। ਇਹ ਸਭ ਕਤੂਰਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਸਨ।
34 And Abraham was the father of Isaac. The sons of Isaac: Esau and Israel.
੩੪ਅਬਰਾਹਾਮ ਤੋਂ ਇਸਹਾਕ ਜੰਮਿਆ। ਇਸਹਾਕ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਏਸਾਓ ਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲ।
35 The sons of Esau: Eliphaz, Reuel and Jeush and Jalam and Korah.
੩੫ਏਸਾਓ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਅਲੀਫਾਜ਼, ਰਊਏਲ, ਯਊਸ਼, ਯਾਲਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਕੋਰਹ।
36 The sons of Eliphaz: Teman and Omar, Zephi and Gatam, Kenaz and Timna and Amalek.
੩੬ਅਲੀਫਾਜ਼ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਤੇਮਾਨ, ਓਮਾਰ, ਸਫੋ, ਗਾਤਾਮ, ਕਨਜ਼, ਤਿਮਨਾ ਅਤੇ ਅਮਾਲੇਕ।
37 The sons of Reuel: Nahath, Zerah, Shammah and Mizzah.
੩੭ਰਊਏਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਨਹਥ, ਜ਼ਰਹ, ਸ਼ੰਮਾਹ, ਅਤੇ ਮਿੱਜ਼ਾਹ।
38 And the sons of Seir: Lotan and Shobal and Zibeon and Anah and Dishon and Ezer and Dishan.
੩੮ਸੇਈਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਲੋਤਾਨ, ਸ਼ੋਬਾਲ, ਸਿਬਓਨ, ਅਨਾਹ, ਦੀਸ਼ੋਨ, ਏਸਰ ਅਤੇ ਦੀਸ਼ਾਨ।
39 And the sons of Lotan: Hori and Homam; and Timna was Lotan's sister.
੩੯ਲੋਤਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਹੋਰੀ, ਹੋਮਾਮ ਅਤੇ ਲੋਤਾਨ ਦੀ ਭੈਣ ਤਿਮਨਾ ਸੀ।
40 The sons of Shobal: Alian and Manahath and Ebal, Shephi and Onam. And the sons of Zibeon: Aiah and Anah.
੪੦ਸ਼ੋਬਾਲ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਅਲਵਾਨ, ਮਾਨਹਥ, ਏਬਾਲ, ਸ਼ਫੋ ਅਤੇ ਓਨਾਮ। ਸਿਬਓਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਅੱਯਾਹ ਅਤੇ ਅਨਾਹ।
41 The sons of Anah: Dishon. And the sons of Dishon: Hamran and Eshban and Ithran and Cheran.
੪੧ਅਨਾਹ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਦੀਸ਼ੋਨ। ਦੀਸ਼ੋਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਹਮਦਾਨ, ਅਸ਼ਬਾਨ, ਯਿਥਰਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਕਰਾਨ।
42 The sons of Ezer: Bilhan and Zaavan, Jaakan. The sons of Dishan: Uz and Aran.
੪੨ਏਸਰ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਬਿਲਹਾਨ, ਜਾਵਾਨ ਅਤੇ ਅਕਾਨ। ਦੀਸ਼ਾਨ ਦੇ ਪੁੱਤਰ: ਊਸ ਤੇ ਅਰਾਨ।
43 Now these are the kings who were ruling in the land of Edom, before there was any king over Israel: Bela, the son of Beor; his town was named Dinhabah.
੪੩ਜਿਹੜੇ ਰਾਜੇ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇਸ ਦੇ ਉੱਤੇ ਇਸਰਾਏਲੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਰਾਜਿਆਂ ਤੋਂ ਪਹਿਲਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦੇ ਸਨ ਸੋ ਇਹ ਸਨ, ਬਓਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਲਾ।
44 At his death, Jobab, the son of Zerah of Bozrah, became king in his place.
੪੪ਜਦੋਂ ਬਲਾ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਜ਼ਰਹ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਯੋਬਾਬ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਬਾਸਰਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
45 At the death of Jobab, Husham, from the land of the Temanites, became king in his place.
੪੫ਜਦੋਂ ਯੋਬਾਬ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਹੂਸ਼ਾਮ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਤੇਮਾਨੀਆਂ ਦੇ ਦੇਸ਼ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ, ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
46 And at the death of Husham, Hadad, the son of Bedad, who overcame Midian in the field of Moab, became king; his town was named Avith.
੪੬ਜਦੋਂ ਹੂਸ਼ਾਮ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਸਥਾਨ ਤੇ ਬਦਦ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਹਦਦ, ਜਿਸ ਨੇ ਮੋਆਬ ਦੇ ਮੈਦਾਨ ਵਿੱਚ ਮਿਦਯਾਨੀਆਂ ਨੂੰ ਮਾਰਿਆ ਸੀ, ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ ਅਤੇ ਉਸ ਦੇ ਨਗਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਅਵੀਤ ਸੀ।
47 And at the death of Hadad, Samlah of Masrekah became king in his place.
੪੭ਜਦੋਂ ਹਦਦ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਸਮਲਾਹ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਮਸਰੇਕਾਹ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
48 And at the death of Samlah, Shaul of Rehoboth by the river became king in his place,
੪੮ਜਦੋਂ ਸਮਲਾਹ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਜਿਹੜਾ ਦਰਿਆ ਦੇ ਰਹੋਬੋਥ ਤੋਂ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
49 And at the death of Shaul, Baal-hanan, the son of Achbor, became king in his place.
੪੯ਜਦੋਂ ਸ਼ਾਊਲ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਅਕਬੋਰ ਦਾ ਪੁੱਤਰ ਬਆਲਹਾਨਾਨ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਨ ਲੱਗਾ।
50 And at the death of Baal-hanan, Hadad became king in his place; his town was named Pai, and his wife's name was Mehetabel, the daughter of Matred, the daughter of Me-zahab.
੫੦ਜਦੋਂ ਬਆਲਹਾਨਾਨ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ, ਤਾਂ ਹਦਦ ਉਹ ਦੇ ਥਾਂ ਰਾਜ ਕਰਦਾ ਸੀ, ਉਹ ਦੇ ਸ਼ਹਿਰ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਪਾਊ ਸੀ ਅਤੇ ਉਹ ਦੀ ਰਾਣੀ ਦਾ ਨਾਮ ਮਹੇਤਾਬਏਲ ਸੀ, ਜਿਹੜੀ ਮੇਜ਼ਾਹਾਬ ਦੀ ਦੋਹਤੀ ਤੇ ਮਤਰੇਦ ਦੀ ਧੀ ਸੀ।
51 And Hadad came to his end. Now the chiefs of Edom were: the chief of Timna, the chief of Aliah, the chief of Jetheth,
੫੧ਹਦਦ ਵੀ ਮਰ ਗਿਆ ਅਤੇ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਇਹ ਸਨ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਤਿਮਨਾ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਅਲਵਾਹ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਯਥੇਥ,
52 The chief of Oholibamah, the chief of Elah, the chief of Pinon,
੫੨ਸਰਦਾਰ ਆਹਾਲੀਬਾਮਾਹ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਏਲਾਹ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਪੀਨੋਨ,
53 The chief of Kenaz, the chief of Teman, the chief of Mibzar,
੫੩ਸਰਦਾਰ ਕਨਜ਼, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਤੇਮਾਨ, ਸਰਦਾਰ ਮਿਬਸਾਰ
54 The chief of Magdiel, the chief of Iram. These are the chiefs of Edom.
੫੪ਸਰਦਾਰ ਮਗਦੀਏਲ ਅਤੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਈਰਾਮ। ਇਹ ਅਦੋਮ ਦੇ ਸਰਦਾਰ ਸਨ।
