Zechariah 4
1 Then the angel who was speaking with me returned and woke me, as a man is awakened from his sleep.
Y volvió el ángel que hablaba conmigo, y despertóme, como un hombre que es despertado de su sueño,
2 “What do you see?” he asked. “I see a solid gold lampstand,” I replied, “with a bowl at the top and seven lamps on it, with seven spouts to the lamps.
Y díjome: ¿Qué ves? Y respondí: Ví, y he aquí un candelero todo de oro, y su bacía, sobre su cabeza, y sus siete lámparas sobre él, siete; y las lámparas que están sobre su cabeza, tienen siete vasos.
3 There are also two olive trees beside it, one on the right side of the bowl and the other on its left.”
Y dos olivas están sobre él, la una a la mano derecha de la bacía, y la otra a su mano izquierda.
4 “What are these, my lord?” I asked the angel who was speaking with me.
Y hablé, y dije a aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, diciendo: ¿Qué es esto, señor mío?
5 “Do you not know what they are?” replied the angel. “No, my lord,” I answered.
Y aquel ángel que hablaba conmigo, respondió, y díjome: ¿No sabes que es esto? Y dije: No, señor mío.
6 So he said to me, “This is the word of the LORD to Zerubbabel: Not by might nor by power, but by My Spirit, says the LORD of Hosts.
Entonces respondió, y me habló, diciendo: Esta es palabra de Jehová a Zorobabel en que se dice: No con ejército, ni con fuerza: mas con mi Espíritu, dijo Jehová de los ejércitos.
7 What are you, O great mountain? Before Zerubbabel you will become a plain. Then he will bring forth the capstone accompanied by shouts of ‘Grace, grace to it!’”
¿Quién eres tú, o! gran monte, delante de Zorobabel? en llanura. El sacará la primera piedra con algazaras: Gracia, gracia a ella.
8 Then the word of the LORD came to me, saying,
Y fue palabra de Jehová a mí, diciendo:
9 “The hands of Zerubbabel have laid the foundation of this house, and his hands will complete it. Then you will know that the LORD of Hosts has sent me to you.
Las manos de Zorobabel echarán el fundamento a esta casa, y sus manos la acabarán; y conocerás que Jehová de los ejércitos me envió a vosotros.
10 For who has despised the day of small things? But these seven eyes of the LORD, which scan the whole earth, will rejoice when they see the plumb line in the hand of Zerubbabel.”
Porque los que menospreciaron el día de los pequeños principios, se alegrarán, y verán la piedra de estaño en la mano de Zorobabel. Aquellas siete son los ojos de Jehová extendidos por toda la tierra.
11 Then I asked the angel, “What are the two olive trees on the right and left of the lampstand?”
Hablé más, y díjele: ¿Qué significan estas dos olivas a la mano derecha del candelero, y a su mano izquierda?
12 And I questioned him further, “What are the two olive branches beside the two gold pipes from which the golden oil pours?”
Y hablé la segunda vez, y le dije: ¿Qué significan las dos ramas de olivas que están en los vasos de oro, que revierten de sí oro?
13 “Do you not know what these are?” he inquired. “No, my lord,” I replied.
Y respondióme, diciendo: ¿No sabes qué es esto? Y dije: Señor mío, no.
14 So he said, “These are the two anointed ones who are standing beside the Lord of all the earth.”
Y él dijo: Estos dos hijos de aceite son los que están delante del Señor de toda la tierra.
