Zechariah 3
1 Then the angel showed me Joshua the high priest standing before the angel of the LORD, with Satan standing at his right hand to accuse him.
Und Er ließ mich Jehoschua, den Hohenpriester sehen, wie er vor dem Engel Jehovahs stand, und den Satan, der ihm zur Rechten stand, ihm zu widerstehen.
2 And the LORD said to Satan: “The LORD rebukes you, Satan! Indeed, the LORD, who has chosen Jerusalem, rebukes you! Is not this man a firebrand snatched from the fire?”
Und Jehovah sprach zum Satan: Jehovah bedrohe dich, Satan, ja, Jehovah bedrohe dich, Der Jerusalem erwählt hat. Ist dieser nicht ein Brand, aus dem Feuer entrissen?
3 Now Joshua was dressed in filthy garments as he stood before the angel.
Und Jehoschua war angetan mit schmutzigen Kleidern, und er stand vor dem Engel.
4 So the angel said to those standing before him, “Take off his filthy clothes!” Then he said to Joshua, “See, I have removed your iniquity, and I will clothe you with splendid robes.”
Und er hob an und sprach zu denen, die vor ihm standen, sprechend: Nehmt weg von ihm die schmutzigen Kleider; und sprach zu ihm: Siehe, Ich habe die Missetat von dir vorbeigehen lassen und dich bekleidet mit Feierkleidern.
5 Then I said, “Let them put a clean turban on his head.” So a clean turban was placed on his head, and they clothed him, as the angel of the LORD stood by.
Und Er sprach: setzet ihm einen reinen Kopfbund auf sein Haupt. Und sie setzten ihm einen reinen Kopfbund auf sein Haupt und zogen ihm Kleider an, und der Engel Jehovahs stand da.
6 Then the angel of the LORD gave this charge to Joshua:
Und es bezeugte der Engel Jehovahs den Jehoschua und sprach:
7 “This is what the LORD of Hosts says: ‘If you walk in My ways and keep My instructions, then you will govern My house and will also have charge of My courts; and I will give you a place among these who are standing here.
So spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen: Wenn du in Meinen Wegen wandelst und wenn du Meiner Hut wartest, so sollst du auch Meinem Hause Recht sprechen und auch Meine Vorhöfe hüten, und Ich gebe dir Gänge zwischen den hier Stehenden.
8 Hear now, O high priest Joshua, you and your companions seated before you, who are indeed a sign. For behold, I am going to bring My servant, the Branch.
So höre denn, Jehoschua, Hoherpriester, du und deine Genossen, die vor dir sitzen, da sie Männer sind des Wahrzeichens: denn siehe, Ich lasse kommen Meinen Knecht, den Sproß.
9 See the stone I have set before Joshua; on that one stone are seven eyes. Behold, I will engrave on it an inscription, declares the LORD of Hosts, and I will remove the iniquity of this land in a single day.
Denn siehe den Stein, den Ich vor Jehoschua legte, auf dem einen Stein sind sieben Augen. Siehe, Ich grabe selbst seine Eingrabung hinein, spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen, und lasse weichen die Missetat dieses Landes an einem Tag.
10 On that day, declares the LORD of Hosts, you will each invite your neighbor to sit under your own vine and fig tree.’”
An jenem Tage, spricht Jehovah der Heerscharen, werdet ihr, jeder Mann seinem Genossen rufen unter den Weinstock und unter den Feigenbaum.
