< Titus 1 >

1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness,
Polo, kisadi ki Nzambi ayi mvuala wu Yesu Klisto, boso buididiminu ki batu bobo basobolo ba Nzambi ayi boso buididi nzayilu yi mambu ma kiedika madi boso buididi khinzukulu yi mambu ma Nzambi,
2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. (aiōnios g166)
mu diana di luzingu lukalumani. Luzingu lolo Nzambi yoyi yika yilendivuna ko kavanina tsila tuamina thonono yi zitsungi. (aiōnios g166)
3 In His own time He has made His word evident in the proclamation entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior.
Vayi thangu bu yifuana, niandi wuzabikisa mambu mandi mundongolo yoyi ndiyekodolo boso buididi lutumunu lu Nzambi Mvulusi eto,
4 To Titus, my true child in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
mfidisidi nkanda wawu kuidi Tite khatika, muanꞌama mu minu kioki tuidi mu kithuadi. Bika nlemvo ayi ndembama bi Nzambi Tata ayi bi Klisto Yesu Mvulusi eto bibanga yaku.
5 The reason I left you in Crete was that you would set in order what was unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.
Bila ndibikila ku Kelete kiawu kiaki: wukubika mambu moso masiala ayimuingi wubieka mintuadisi mi Dibundu mu kadika divula boso bu nditumina.
6 An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, having children who are believers and who are not open to accusation of indiscretion or insubordination.
Kadika ntuadisi kabika ba bila kioki kafueti sembolo; kafueti ba bakala dikuela nketo wumosi kaka; beki bana bakuikama. Batu babika baka diluaku di fundila bana benit i khadulu yimbimbi badi voti batumiminanga batu ko.
7 As God’s steward, an overseer must be above reproach—not self-absorbed, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not greedy for money.
Didi diambu di mfunu ti ntuadisi wu dibundu kafueti ba mutu kambulu tsembolo banga kisadi ki Nzambi wunkambu tulanga diana mu diela diandi, kafuemanga nsualu ko; kanuanga malavu ko; kanuananga ko, kabika ba mutu weti zola baka zimbongo mu mayuya.
8 Instead, he must be hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined.
Kafueti ba mutu zebi yakulanga bumboti banzenza ayi kafueti ba mutu weti zola mamboti; kafueti ba mutu wu diela, mutu wusonga, mutu wuvedila, zebi kukiyala.
9 He must hold firmly to the faithful word as it was taught, so that he can encourage others by sound teaching and refute those who contradict it.
Kafueti ba wukangama mu mambu ma kuikama boso buididi malongimuingi kaba wufuana mu lubula boso buididi malongi ma kiedika ayi mu bedisila bobo bamfindisanga ziphaka.
10 For many are rebellious and full of empty talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision,
Bila bawombo kaba tumamananga ko, banyolukanga mambu ma phamba; bamvunanga batu. Badi bawombo muidi Bayuda.
11 who must be silenced. For the sake of dishonorable gain, they undermine entire households and teach things they should not.
Bufueni mu kuba kangisa miunu bila zinzo ziwombo balembo zimbisabu beti longa mambu ma kambulu fuana mu diambu di babaka zimbongo mu luvunu.
12 As one of their own prophets has said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.”
Wumosi mu bawu, mbikudi awu veka wutuba ti: Basi Kelete badi bankua luvunu badi bibulu bimbimbi, ayi kisalu kiawu dia kaka ayi badi miolo.
13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sternly, so that they will be sound in the faith
Kimbangi kiaki kidi ki kiedika. Diawu wuba temina ngolo muingi baba minu ki kiedika
14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of men who have rejected the truth.
ayi babika singimina mu zinongo zi Bayuda ayi zithumunu zi batu bobo beti vengama mu mambu ma kiedika.
15 To the pure, all things are pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. Indeed, both their minds and their consciences are defiled.
“Bibioso bidi bivedila mu diambu di batu bobo badi bavedila” vayi bibioso bisi bivedila ko mu diambu di batu bobo badi basumuka ayi bakambulu minu ayi diela diawu ayi mayindu ma mintima miawu bidi bisumuka.
16 They profess to know God, but by their actions they deny Him. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.
Muaki bambanzilanga ti bazebi Nzambi vayi bantunukanga Nzambimu mavanga mawu bila baba zolanga ko; basi bulemvo ko ayi balendi vangakadi diambu dimosi di mboti ko.
