Titus 1
1 Paul, a servant of God and an apostle of Jesus Christ for the faith of God’s elect and their knowledge of the truth that leads to godliness,
၁ဘုရားသခင်၏အစေခံနှင့်သခင်ယေရှု ခရစ်၏တမန်တော်ဖြစ်သူ ငါပေါလုသည် စာရေးလိုက်ပါသည်။ ဘုရားသခင်သည်မိမိရွေးကောက်တော်မူ သောလူစုတော်၏ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းကိုပြုစု ပေးစေရန်လည်းကောင်း၊ ငါတို့၏ဘာသာ တော်ကသွန်သင်သည့်သမ္မာတရားတော် အကြောင်းကို ထိုသူတို့သဘောပေါက်နား လည်ကြစေရန်လည်းကောင်းငါ့ကိုရွေး ချယ်စေလွှတ်တော်မူ၏။-
2 in the hope of eternal life, which God, who cannot lie, promised before time began. (aiōnios g166)
၂ထိုဘာသာတော်သည်ထာဝရအသက်ကို မျှော်လင့်မှုတွင်အခြေခံပေသည်။ မုသား နှင့်ကင်းစင်တော်မူသောဘုရားသခင်သည် ရှေးကပ်ကာလမတည်ရှိမီကပင် ထာဝရ အသက်ကိုငါတို့အားပေးတော်မူရန် ကတိထားတော်မူပေသည်။- (aiōnios g166)
3 In His own time He has made His word evident in the proclamation entrusted to me by the command of God our Savior.
၃ထိုနောက်အချိန်သင့်သောအခါ၌ထို ထာဝရအသက်ကိုတရားတော်အားဖြင့် ပေါ်လွင်ထင်ရှားစေတော်မူ၏။ ငါတို့၏ ကယ်တင်ရှင်ဘုရားသခင်သည်ထိုတရား တော်ကို ငါ့အားပေးအပ်တော်မူသည်ဖြစ်ရာ ငါသည်ကိုယ်တော်၏အမိန့်တော်အရထို တရားတော်ကိုကြေညာ၏။
4 To Titus, my true child in our common faith: Grace and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Savior.
၄ငါတို့နည်းတူယုံကြည်သူ၊ ယုံကြည်ခြင်းအား ဖြင့် ငါ၏သားစစ်ဖြစ်သူတိတုထံသို့ဤစာ ကိုငါရေးသားပေးပို့လိုက်ပါသည်။ ခမည်းတော်ဘုရားသခင်နှင့်ငါတို့၏ကယ် တင်ရှင်ခရစ်တော်ယေရှုသည် သင့်အားကျေးဇူး တော်နှင့်ငြိမ်သက်ခြင်းကိုပေးသနားတော်မူ ပါစေသတည်း။
5 The reason I left you in Crete was that you would set in order what was unfinished and appoint elders in every town, as I directed you.
၅ကရေတေကျွန်းတွင်လုပ်ဆောင်စရာရှိသေး သောအမှုကိစ္စအဝဝတို့ကိုစီမံဆောင်ရွက် ရန်နှင့် အမြို့မြို့တွင်သင်းအုပ်များခန့်ထား ရန်သင့်အားငါထားခဲ့၏။ ငါယခုပေးမည့် ညွှန်ကြားချက်များကိုမမေ့နှင့်။-
6 An elder must be blameless, the husband of but one wife, having children who are believers and who are not open to accusation of indiscretion or insubordination.
၆အသင်းတော်ကိုအုပ်ထိန်းသူသည်အပြစ်ဆို စရာမရှိသူဖြစ်ရမည်။ သူ့မှာဇနီးတစ်ယောက် သာရှိရမည်။ သူ၏သားသမီးများသည်ယုံ ကြည်သူများဖြစ်ရမည်။ အပျော်ကြူးသူများ၊ စကားနားမထောင်သူများမဖြစ်စေရ။-
7 As God’s steward, an overseer must be above reproach—not self-absorbed, not quick-tempered, not given to drunkenness, not violent, not greedy for money.
၇အသင်းတော်ကိုခေါင်းဆောင်သူသည်ဘုရား သခင်၏အမှုတော်ကိုတာဝန်ယူ၍ ဆောင်ရွက် ရသူဖြစ်သဖြင့်အပြစ်ဆိုစရာမရှိသူ ဖြစ်ရမည်။ သူသည်မောက်မာသူ၊ စိတ်တိုသူ မဖြစ်စေရ။ သေသောက်ကြူးသူ၊ ကြမ်းတမ်း သူ၊ ငွေကိုမက်မောသူမဖြစ်စေရ။-
8 Instead, he must be hospitable, a lover of good, self-controlled, upright, holy, and disciplined.
၈ဧည့်သည်ဝတ်ကိုပြုတတ်သူ၊ ကောင်းမြတ်သည့် အရာကိုနှစ်သက်တတ်သူဖြစ်ရမည်။ သူသည် မိမိကိုယ်ကိုထိန်းချုပ်နိုင်ရမည်။ ဖြောင့်မတ် ရမည်။ ဘုရားတရားကိုရိုသေကိုင်းရှိုင်းရမည်။ စည်းကမ်းသေဝပ်ရမည်။-
9 He must hold firmly to the faithful word as it was taught, so that he can encourage others by sound teaching and refute those who contradict it.
၉သူသည်မှန်ကန်သည့်အယူဝါဒကိုစွဲမြဲစွာ ခံယူယုံကြည်ရမည်။ ဤနည်းအားဖြင့်သူသည် တရားစစ်တရားမှန်အားဖြင့်အားပေးတိုက် တွန်းနိုင်လိမ့်မည်။ ထိုတရားစစ်တရားမှန်ကို အတိုက်အခံပြုသူတို့၏အမှားကိုလည်း ထောက်ပြနိုင်လိမ့်မည်။
10 For many are rebellious and full of empty talk and deception, especially those of the circumcision,
၁၀ထိုတရားကိုတော်လှန်ကာအကျိုးမဲ့သည့် စကားများအားဖြင့်လှည့်စားတတ်သူအများ အပြားပင်ရှိ၏။ အထူးသဖြင့်ယုဒဘာသာမှ ခရစ်ယာန်ဘာသာသို့ကူးပြောင်းလာသူတို့ အထဲတွင်ရှိပေသည်။-
11 who must be silenced. For the sake of dishonorable gain, they undermine entire households and teach things they should not.
၁၁ထိုသူတို့၏နှုတ်ကိုပိတ်ရန်လိုအပ်လာပေ ပြီ။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်သူတို့သည်ငွေ ရရှိရေးရည်ရွယ်ချက်ဖြင့် မသွန်သင်သင့် သောအရာများကိုသွန်သင်ခြင်းအားဖြင့် အိမ်ထောင်စုများကိုကမောက်ကမဖြစ်စေ ကြသောကြောင့်တည်း။-
12 As one of their own prophets has said, “Cretans are always liars, evil beasts, lazy gluttons.”
၁၂သူတို့၏ပရောဖက်ဖြစ်သူကရေတေကျွန်း သားတစ်ဦးကပင်လျှင်``ကရေတေကျွန်းသား တို့သည်အစဉ်လိမ်လည်သူများ၊ သားရဲဆိုး များ၊ ပျင်းရိစားကြူးသူများဖြစ်၏'' ဟုပြော ဆိုခဲ့၏။ ထိုသူ၏ပြောဆိုချက်သည်မှန်ပေ သည်။ သို့ဖြစ်၍သူတို့သည်အမှန်တကယ် ယုံကြည်လာကြစေရန်လည်းကောင်း၊ ယုဒ ဒဏ္ဍာရီစကားများနှင့်သမ္မာတရားကို ပစ်ပယ် သူတို့၏ပညတ်များကိုစွန့်လွှတ်လိုက်ကြ စေရန်လည်းကောင်းသူတို့အားကြပ်တည်း စွာဆုံးမရမည်။-
13 This testimony is true. Therefore rebuke them sternly, so that they will be sound in the faith

14 and will pay no attention to Jewish myths or to the commands of men who have rejected the truth.

15 To the pure, all things are pure; but to the defiled and unbelieving, nothing is pure. Indeed, both their minds and their consciences are defiled.
၁၅မိမိတို့ကိုယ်တိုင်စိတ်နှလုံးစင်ကြယ်သန့်ရှင်း သူတို့အဖို့မှာ မည်သည့်အရာမဆိုစင်ကြယ် သန့်ရှင်း၏။ သို့သော်မိမိတို့ကိုယ်တိုင်မစင် ကြယ်မယုံကြည်သူတို့အဖို့မှာမူကား အဘယ်အရာမျှစင်ကြယ်သန့်ရှင်းသည်ဟူ၍ မရှိ။ အဘယ်ကြောင့်ဆိုသော်ထိုသူတို့၏စိတ် နှလုံးနှင့်သြတ္တပ္ပစိတ်သည်ညစ်ညမ်းနေသော ကြောင့်ဖြစ်၏။-
16 They profess to know God, but by their actions they deny Him. They are detestable, disobedient, and unfit for any good deed.
၁၆သူတို့သည်ဘုရားသခင်ကိုသိသည်ဟုဝန်ခံ သော်လည်းသူတို့အကျင့်ကမထောက်ခံ။ သူ တို့သည်မုန်းဖွယ်ကောင်းသူ၊ နားမထောင်သူ၊ ကောင်းမြတ်သည့်အမှုတစ်စုံတစ်ခုကိုမျှ ပြုရန်မသင့်တော်သူများဖြစ်ကြ၏။
