< Romans 2 >
1 You, therefore, have no excuse, you who pass judgment on another. For on whatever grounds you judge the other, you are condemning yourself, because you who pass judgment do the same things.
Etu karone apuni khan logote bahana kori bole eku nai, O manu, kun dusra ke bisar kore, jitia apuni dusra ke bisar kore, titia apuni nijor logote thaka golti ke bhi bodnam kori ase. Kelemane apuni kunkhan bisar kore, thik utu khan nisena he kore.
2 And we know that God’s judgment against those who do such things is based on truth.
Kintu Isor utu khan ke bisar kore jun khan eneka kaam khan kore aru amikhan jani ase Tai laga bisar to hosa ase.
3 So when you, O man, pass judgment on others, yet do the same things, do you think you will escape God’s judgment?
Kintu bhabi sabi, apuni khan jun dusra ke bisar kore, utu golti khan nimite juntu apuni khan bhi kore. Tinehoile apnikhan Isor laga bisar pora bachibole paribo naki?
4 Or do you disregard the riches of His kindness, tolerance, and patience, not realizing that God’s kindness leads you to repentance?
Isor laga morom laga dhun juntu apuni khan uporte rakhi kene ase, aru Tai bisi dhorjo kori kene etiya tak saja nadiya karone, apnikhan eitu khan bisi chutu ase koi kene bhabi ase naki? Apuni khan najane naki, Tai laga morom to apuni khan ke mon ghurai lobole nimite ase koi kene?
5 But because of your hard and unrepentant heart, you are storing up wrath against yourself for the day of wrath, when God’s righteous judgment will be revealed.
Kintu apuni khan bisi mon tan ase aru mon naghurai kene ase, etu nimite apuni khan nijor laga golti khan Isor laga khong laga din nimite joma kori ase. Aru utu dinte Isor laga hosa bisar sob manu khan ke dikhai dibo.
6 God “will repay each one according to his deeds.”
Isor pora sob manu laga kaam hisab te taikhan ke dibo:
7 To those who by perseverance in doing good seek glory, honor, and immortality, He will give eternal life. (aiōnios )
Jun manu khan bhal kaam korate dhorjo kori kene mohima aru sonman aru biya kaam kora laga jibon bisara nai, taikhan ke Isor pora anonto jibon dibo. (aiōnios )
8 But for those who are self-seeking and who reject the truth and follow wickedness, there will be wrath and anger.
Kintu jun manu nijor nimite he bhabona kore aru hosa kotha namani kene adharmik phale he mani loi, taikhan karone Isor laga khong aru ghusa ahibo.
9 There will be trouble and distress for every human being who does evil, first for the Jew, then for the Greek;
Isor pora paap kora manu khan sob uporte dukh kosto anibo, poila Yehudi khan ke, aru etu pichete Yunani khan uporte bhi.
10 but glory, honor, and peace for everyone who does good, first for the Jew, then for the Greek.
Kintu kun pora bhal kaam kori ase, taikhan nimite to mohima, sonman aru shanti thakibo poila Yehudi khan aru etu pichete Yehudi khan nimite bhi.
11 For God does not show favoritism.
Kelemane Isor to sobke eke sai.
12 All who sin apart from the law will also perish apart from the law, and all who sin under the law will be judged by the law.
Kilekoile niyom najani kene kiman jon paap korise taikhan eneka he harai jabo aru kiman jon niyom janikena paap korise taikhan etu niyom hisab pora bisar koribo.
13 For it is not the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but it is the doers of the law who will be declared righteous.
Kilekoile niyom huna pora Isor age te dharmik nohoi, kintu niyom chola pora he taikhan dharmik hobo.
14 Indeed, when Gentiles, who do not have the law, do by nature what the law requires, they are a law to themselves, even though they do not have the law.
Kelemane jitia Porjati khan, kunkhan logot niyom nai, taikhan laga sobhab pora he niyom te ki koi ase etu korise koile, taikhan niyom nathakile bhi taikhan nijor he niyom ase.
15 So they show that the work of the law is written on their hearts, their consciences also bearing witness, and their thoughts either accusing or defending them
Eneka sobhab thaka pora niyom te ki hukum dise etu taikhan laga monte likhi kene ase eneka dikhai ase. Taikhan laga nijor bhabona pora bhi etu thik ase eneka sakhi di ase, aru taikhan mon pora kitia ba galti diye aru kitia ba thik ase eneka koi.
16 on the day when God will judge men’s secrets through Christ Jesus, as proclaimed by my gospel.
Etu hobo utu dinte jitia Isor he manu khan laga lukai kene thaka sob bisar koribo, moi ki susamachar koi ase etu hisab pora hobo, Jisu Khrista dwara.
17 Now you, if you call yourself a Jew; if you rely on the law and boast in God;
Kintu jodi apuni nijorke Yehudi mati ase aru niyom te asha kori ase aru Isor laga manu eneka mon dangor kori ase,
18 if you know His will and approve of what is superior because you are instructed by the law;
aru Tai laga itcha jane aru ki bisi bhal ase etu ke mane kele koile apuni ke niyom pora bujhai dise;
19 if you are convinced that you are a guide for the blind, a light for those in darkness,
aru apuni hosa bhi andha khan nimite nijor bhi ekjon cholawta ase eneka jane, nohoile andhera te thaka khan nimite puhor ase eneka jane,
20 an instructor of the foolish, a teacher of infants, because you have in the law the embodiment of knowledge and truth—
murkho khan nimite hikhok ase eneka jane, bacha khan laga hikhok ase eneka koi, aru apuni logote niyom to gyaan aru hosa ase koile,
21 you, then, who teach others, do you not teach yourself? You who preach against stealing, do you steal?
titia apuni kun dusra ke sikhai ase, apuni nijorke bhi nasikhai naki? Apuni kun chor kora laga bhirodh te prochar kore, apuni chor kore naki?
22 You who forbid adultery, do you commit adultery? You who abhor idols, do you rob temples?
Apuni koi ase bebichar na koribi kintu apuni bebichar kori ase naki, apuni murti to ghin kori ase kintu mondoli pora chor kori ase naki?
23 You who boast in the law, do you dishonor God by breaking the law?
Apuni kun pora niyom te phutani kori ase niyom to bhangai kene Isor ke sorom khilai ase naki?
24 As it is written: “God’s name is blasphemed among the Gentiles because of you.”
Kelemane Shastro te eneka likhi kene ase, “Apnikhan nimite Porjati majote Isor laga naam to ninda kori ase.”
25 Circumcision has value if you observe the law, but if you break the law, your circumcision has become uncircumcision.
Kelemane jodi apuni niyom thik pora manile, sunnot korate labh ase, kintu jodi apuni niyom to bhangai ase koile apuni sunnot nakora nisena he ase.
26 If a man who is not circumcised keeps the requirements of the law, will not his uncircumcision be regarded as circumcision?
Jodi, ekjon manu sunnot kora nai kintu niyom te thaka sob manile tai asol te sunnot nakorilebi tai sunnot kora nisena nahobo naki?
27 The one who is physically uncircumcised yet keeps the law will condemn you who, even though you have the written code and circumcision, are a lawbreaker.
Sunnot nakora khan kun niyom mani ase taikhan pora apuni khan kun sunnot korise aru niyom bhi paikene ase, kintu niyom bhangai ase, apuni khan ke ninda koribo naki? Etu eneka ase kelemane apuni khan logote likhi kene thaka niyom aru sunnot ase, hoilebi apuni khan niyom ke bhangai!
28 A man is not a Jew because he is one outwardly, nor is circumcision only outward and physical.
Etu pora tai ekjon to Yehudi nohoi jodi khali bahar te he tai Yehudi ase; aru khali dikha bole nimite gaw mangso te sunnot kora to thik nohoi.
29 No, a man is a Jew because he is one inwardly, and circumcision is a matter of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a man’s praise does not come from men, but from God.
Kintu asol Yehudi to kitab te likhi thaka niyom mani luwa etu ekla nohoi, kintu mon bhitor te sunnot hobo lage, Atma pora. Etu manu nimite stuti to manu pora nahibo, kintu Isor pora ahibo.
