< Romans 11 >
1 I ask then, did God reject His people? Certainly not! I am an Israelite myself, a descendant of Abraham, from the tribe of Benjamin.
Mbe enaika, Angu Nyamuanga abhalemele abhanu bhae? Na katyali uli. Kwo kubha anye one nili Mwisilaeli, wo lwibhulo Lwa Ibhulaimu, wo luganda lwa Benyamini.
2 God did not reject His people, whom He foreknew. Do you not know what the Scripture says about Elijah, how he appealed to God against Israel:
Nyamuanga hatabhalemele abhanu bhae, abho amenyele okwambila kubhwambilo. Angu mutakumenya elyandiko elyaika chinuki okulubhana na Eliya, lwa kutyo amukomelesishe Nyamuanga ingulu ya Israel?
3 “Lord, they have killed Your prophets and torn down Your altars. I am the only one left, and they are seeking my life as well”?
“Latabhugenyi, bhabheta abhalagi bhao, nawe bhona bhafumya ebhigabhwilo bhyao. Anye omwene -ela nanye nasanga, nabho abhayeja obhuwanga bhwani.”
4 And what was the divine reply to him? “I have reserved for Myself seven thousand men who have not bowed the knee to Baal.”
Mbe nawe lisubhyo lya Nyamuanga elyaikaki kwawe? “Nibhikile ingulu yani abhanu bhiubhi musanju bhanu bhatakumubhumila bhiju Bhaali.”
5 In the same way, at the present time there is a remnant chosen by grace.
Nolwo kutyo, omwanya gunu ogwa woli one bhalio bhanu bhasagile kunsonga yo kusola mu chigongo.
6 And if it is by grace, then it is no longer by works. Otherwise, grace would no longer be grace.
Mbe nawe jikabha mu chigongo, atali lindi mu bhikolwa. kubhindi echigongo chitakubha lindi chigongo.
7 What then? What Israel was seeking, it failed to obtain, but the elect did. The others were hardened,
Mbe nichinuki woli? Echinu chinu Israeli aliga naiiga, atachibhwene, nawe abhasolwa bhachibhwene, na abhandi bhayanilwe bhusito.
8 as it is written: “God gave them a spirit of stupor, eyes that could not see, and ears that could not hear, to this very day.”
Ni lwa kutyo jandikilwe: “Nyamuanga abhayae mwoyo gwo bhugunie, ameso koleleki bhasige okulola, na Matwi koleleki bhasige okungwa, kukinga lelo linu.”
9 And David says: “May their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a retribution to them.
No mwene Daudi kaika, “Musige jimeja jebhwe na jibhe waya, mitego, kwibhala lwo kwikujula, no kusubhya olusima ingulu yebhwe.
10 May their eyes be darkened so they cannot see, and their backs be bent forever.”
Siga ameso gebhwe gatelweko echisunte koleleki bhasigo olola. Nubhenamye emigongo jebhwe Kata.”
11 I ask then, did they stumble so as to fall beyond recovery? Certainly not! However, because of their trespass, salvation has come to the Gentiles to make Israel jealous.
Mbe woli enaika, “Angu, bhekujuye kukingila okugwa?” Jasiga kubha kutyo kajanende. Amwi nejo, kwo kuigwa kwebhwe, omwelulo gwabhakingiye abhanyamaanga, koleleki abhene bhejule lifuwa.
12 But if their trespass means riches for the world, and their failure means riches for the Gentiles, how much greater riches will their fullness bring!
13 I am speaking to you Gentiles. Inasmuch as I am the apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry
Mbe woli enaika nemwe abhanu bha Maanga. Kulwo kubha nabhee Intumwa ku bhanu bha Maanga agandi, enikuisha mukufulubhenda kwani.
14 in the hope that I may provoke my own people to jealousy and save some of them.
Amwi enichula nimbajisha lifuwa bhanu bhali mubhili gumwi nanye. Amwi echibhakisha abhandi bhebhwe.
15 For if their rejection is the reconciliation of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead?
Kulwo kubha alabha okulemwa kwebhwe ni mekilishanyo ge Chalo, okulamilwa kwebhwe okubha atiki nakabhee obhuanga okusoka mu bhafuye?
16 If the first part of the dough is holy, so is the whole batch; if the root is holy, so are the branches.
Alabha amatwasho go Kwamba ni bhikilo, nikwo kutyo bhili kwo bhafu bhwa jisyanu. Alabha emisi ni libhikilo, amatabhi one nikwo kutiyo.
17 Now if some branches have been broken off, and you, a wild olive shoot, have been grafted in among the others to share in the nourishment of the olive root,
Mbe nawe alabha agandi amatabhi gakatemwa, kuti awe, nawe litabhi lye mwila elyo musheka, linu lwayambilwe agati yebhwe, na nilisangila amwi nabho mu misi jo bhunibhi bhwo musheka,
18 do not boast over those branches. If you do, remember this: You do not support the root, but the root supports you.
wasiga kwikuya ingulu ya matabhi. Nawe alabha owikuya, atali awe unu ousakila emisi, nawe emisi ejikusakila awe.
19 You will say then, “Branches were broken off so that I could be grafted in.”
Mbe nawe owaika, “amatabhi gatemelwe koleleki niyambwe kwi Sina.
20 That is correct: They were broken off because of unbelief, but you stand by faith. Do not be arrogant, but be afraid.
Ejo ni ja chimali. Kunsonga yo kulema okwikilisha kwebhwe bhatemelwe, mbe nawe awe wemeleguyu ulumile koto kunsonga ye likilisha lyao. Wasiga okwiganilisha muno omwene -ela, nawe ubhaye.
21 For if God did not spare the natural branches, He will certainly not spare you either.
Kulwo kubha akabha Nyamuanga atagasigile amatabhi go bhusimuka, atakusasila awe one.
22 Take notice, therefore, of the kindness and severity of God: severity to those who fell, but kindness to you, if you continue in His kindness. Otherwise you also will be cut off.
Mbe, nulole, ebhikolwa bhye kisi no bhululu bhwa Nyamuanga. kwi bhala limwi, obhululu bhunu bhwejile ingulu ya Bhayaudi bhanu bhaguye. Nawe kulubhala lundi, obhwekisi bhwa Nyamuanga bhwejile ingulu yao, nawe ukekomesha mu bhwekisi bhwae. Ukatasikana neJo awe one ulilemelelwa Kula.
23 And if they do not persist in unbelief, they will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again.
Alabha bhene one bhakalema okugendelela mu bhunyantekilisha bhwebhwe, abhayambwa lindi. Kulwo kubha Nyamuanga ali no bhutulo bhwo kubhayamba lindi.
24 For if you were cut from a wild olive tree, and contrary to nature were grafted into one that is cultivated, how much more readily will these, the natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree!
Kulwo kubha alabha emwe mwatemelwe anja ya bhinu bhuli bhusimuka bhwo musheka gwe mwila no bhutasikene bhwo bhusimuka mwayambilwe ku musheka gunu guli gwe kisi, atali kwiya kafu muno abhayaudi bhanu, bhali lwa matabhi go bhusimuka bhanu abhatula okuyambwa lindi mu masheka gebhwe abhene?
25 I do not want you to be ignorant of this mystery, brothers, so that you will not be conceited: A hardening in part has come to Israel, until the full number of the Gentiles has come in.
Kulwo kubha bhaili nitakwenda musige okumenya, okulubhana na imbisike inu ati mwasiga okubha no bhumenyi mu okwiganilisha kwemwe abhene. Imbisike inu ni ati obhukomee bhusokele mu Israeli, kukinga mu kukumila kwa Maanga galijila.
26 And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: “The Deliverer will come from Zion; He will remove godlessness from Jacob.
Kwibhyo Israeli bhone abhwelulwa, kutyo jandikilwe.”Okusoka Sayuni Kaja omwelusi Kabhumenya obhujabhi okusoka ku yakobo.
27 And this is My covenant with them when I take away their sins.”
Na linu elibha elagano lyani amwi nabho, omwanya ogwo nakabhisosheo ebhibhibhi bhyebhwe.”
28 Regarding the gospel, they are enemies on your account; but regarding election, they are loved on account of the patriarchs.
Ku lubhala oumwi okulubhana no misango no bhwana, abhabhabhiililwa ku Songa yemwe. Kwo lubhala lundi okulubhana no bhwausi bhwa Nyamuanga, abhene ku Songa ya bhajanji.
29 For God’s gifts and His call are irrevocable.
Kwo kubha ebhiyanwa no kubhilikilwa kwa Nyamuanga bhutakuyinduka.
30 Just as you who formerly disobeyed God have now received mercy through their disobedience,
Kwo kubha kubhwambilo emwe mwaliga muli bhanyamusi bha Nyamuanga, nawe oli mwachilamila echigongo ku Songa yokunyamula kwebhwe.
31 so they too have now disobeyed, in order that they too may now receive mercy through the mercy shown to you.
Kwa injila eye yo, Oli Abhayaundi bhanu bhanyamuye. Nawe okumala kwendao ni bha ati okulubhana no kubhasasila bhanu muli na mabhando emwe abhatula one okulamila echigongo.
32 For God has consigned everyone to disobedience so that He may have mercy on everyone. (eleēsē )
Kulwo kubha Nyamuanga abhabhoyele abhanu bhone mu bhunyamusi koleleki atule okubhasasila bhone. (eleēsē )
33 O, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments, and untraceable His ways!
Lwa kutyo bhili bhikulu kubhunibhi no bhumenyi no bhwengeso bhwa Nyamuanga! jitakumenyelwa jindamu jae, na jinjila jae jitakumenyekana!
34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has been His counselor?”
“Kwibhyo niga unu kaimenya injila ya Latabhugenyi? Amwi niga unu aliga ali mulwaji wae?
35 “Who has first given to God, that God should repay him?”
Amwi niga unu atangatile okumuyana echinu Nyamuanga, koleleki aliywe lindi?
36 For from Him and through Him and to Him are all things. To Him be the glory forever! Amen. (aiōn )
“Ku lwebhyo okusoka kumwene, na kunjila yae na kumwene, ebhinu bhyona bhilo abhilabhile kumwene libhwe kusho kajanende. Amina. (aiōn )
