< Romans 10 >
1 Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is for their salvation.
RI ai kan, inong en mongiong i, o ai ngidingid kin irail ong Kot pan dore ir ala.
2 For I testify about them that they are zealous for God, but not on the basis of knowledge.
Pwe ngai kadede parail, me re kin nantiong Kot, ap sasa tiak.
3 Because they were ignorant of God’s righteousness and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God’s righteousness.
Pwe re sasa pung en Kot, ap sosong kapwaiada pein arail pung, ap sota duki ong pung en Kot.
4 For Christ is the end of the law, to bring righteousness to everyone who believes.
Pwe Kristus kaimwisok pan kapung o; karos me poson en pung kila.
5 For concerning the righteousness that is by the law, Moses writes: “The man who does these things will live by them.”
Pwe Moses masanier duen pung en me pwili sang kapung o: Aramas o, me kapwaiada song pukat, a pan maur kila.
6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: “Do not say in your heart, ‘Who will ascend into heaven?’ (that is, to bring Christ down)
A iet me pung, me pwili sang poson, kin inda: Der inda nan mongiong om: Is me pan daudala nanlang? Iet wewe: En wadido Kristus.
7 or, ‘Who will descend into the Abyss?’ (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead).” (Abyssos )
De is me pan daudi wasa lol? Iet wewe: En wadado Kristus sang ren me melar akan. (Abyssos )
8 But what does it say? “The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart,” that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming:
A da me a kin inda? Masan o me koren iong uk, a kin mi nan au om o nan mongiong om; iei masan en poson, me se kin padaki wei.
9 that if you confess with your mouth, “Jesus is Lord,” and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.
Pwe ma koe pan kadedeki au om Iesus, me i me Kaun, ap poson nan mongiong om, me Kot kotin kaiasadar i sang ren me melar akan, koe ap pan doro kila.
10 For with your heart you believe and are justified, and with your mouth you confess and are saved.
Pwe poson kin tapi sang nan mongiong o, pwen pung kila, o kadede kin tapi sang nan au o, pwen maur kila.
11 It is just as the Scripture says: “Anyone who believes in Him will never be put to shame.”
Pwe kisin likau me masani: Amen amen me pan poson i, sota pan soredi.
12 For there is no difference between Jew and Greek: The same Lord is Lord of all, and gives richly to all who call on Him,
Pwe sota irair eu nan pung en men Sus o men Krik, pwe Kaun en irail karos me ta men, me dir en kalangan ong karos, me kin likwir ong i;
13 for, “Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved.”
Pwe amen amen me likwir ong mar en Kaun o pan dore kila.
14 How then can they call on the One in whom they have not believed? And how can they believe in the One of whom they have not heard? And how can they hear without someone to preach?
A iaduen, irail pan likwirlang i, me irail sota poson? A iaduen, irail pan kak poson i, me re saikenta rong? A iaduen irail pan kak rong, ma sota saunpadak?
15 And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: “How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!”
A iaduen, irail pan kak padaki wei, ma re sota pan pakadarala? Duen a intingidier: Meid pai nä en me padaki rongamau en popol, me padaki rongamau en me mau kan!
16 But not all of them welcomed the good news. For Isaiah says, “Lord, who has believed our message?”
A kaidin karos me peiki ong rongamau. Pwe Iesaia masani: Maing, is me kamelele at padak?
17 Consequently, faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.
Ari, poson kin pwili sang padak, a padak kin pwili sang masan en Kot.
18 But I ask, did they not hear? Indeed they did: “Their voice has gone out into all the earth, their words to the ends of the world.”
A ngai me inda: Irail sota rongadar? O ei! Pwe ngil arail leler sap karos, o ar padak lel ong irair en sappa.
19 I ask instead, did Israel not understand? First, Moses says: “I will make you jealous by those who are not a nation; I will make you angry by a nation without understanding.”
A ngai me inda: Israel sota wewekier? Pwe iet kaieu, me Moses masani: I pan kasarowei kin komail, me kaidin nai aramas, o I pan kamakara kin komail aramas pweipwei kan.
20 And Isaiah boldly says: “I was found by those who did not seek Me; I revealed Myself to those who did not ask for Me.”
A Iesaia kelail masani: Ngai me kadiarokada sang ren me sota rapa kin ia, o Ngai me pwara dong, me sota idok ia.
21 But as for Israel he says: “All day long I have held out My hands to a disobedient and obstinate people.”
A kotin masani duen Israel: Kaukaule I kapawei pa i kat ong aramas katiwo o kangudi kan.
