< Revelation 16 >
1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath.”
Kꞌa te riꞌ xinta jun chꞌabꞌal ri kꞌo pa ri Templo rech ri Dios xuraq uchiꞌ xubꞌij chike ri e wuqubꞌ angelibꞌ: Jix, jiꞌtixa puꞌwiꞌ ri uwachulew ri wuqubꞌ qumubꞌal ri nojinaq che ri royawal ri Dios.
2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and loathsome, malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
Ri nabꞌe ángel xel loq pa ri Templo, xuꞌtixa ri qumubꞌal nojinaq che ri royawal ri Dios puꞌwiꞌ ri uwachulew, konojel kꞌu ri winaq ri kojom ketal rumal ri awaj xuqujeꞌ kakiqꞌijilaꞌj ri tzaq rech ri awaj, xel loq jun chꞌaꞌk che ri kityoꞌjal ri sibꞌalaj kaqꞌoxowik.
3 And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of the dead, and every living thing in the sea died.
Ri ukabꞌ ángel xuꞌtixa ri qumubꞌal ri nojinaq che ri royawal ri Dios puꞌwiꞌ ri plo. Ri plo kꞌut xkikꞌarik jetaq ri kubꞌan ri kikikꞌel ri winaq ri kekamisaxik, ronojel kꞌu kꞌaslik taj jastaq ri e kꞌo pa ri plo, xekamik.
4 And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they turned to blood.
Ri urox ángel xuꞌtixa ri qumubꞌal ri nojinaq che ri royawal ri Dios puꞌwiꞌ taq ri nimaꞌ xuqujeꞌ jawjeꞌ kekꞌiy wi loq ri jaꞌ, ronojel kꞌu ri jaꞌ xekikꞌarik.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say: “Righteous are You, O Holy One, who is and was, because You have brought these judgments.
Kꞌa te riꞌ xinta jun ángel ri kꞌo ukwinem puꞌwiꞌ ri jaꞌ xubꞌij: Sibꞌalaj lal sukꞌ, nimalaj Ajawxel, rumal cher lal ojer lal kꞌo la loq, lal kꞌo la kamik xuqujeꞌ kakꞌojiꞌ na la chibꞌe qꞌij saq. Sibꞌalaj lal Tyox, rumal chi xqꞌat la tzij puꞌwiꞌ ronojel we jastaq riꞌ.
6 For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, as they deserve.”
Rumal cher xeꞌkikamisaj ri e kojonelabꞌ che la xuqujeꞌ ri e qꞌalajisal taq tzij la, rumal riꞌ xya la bꞌe chi kakiqumuj kikꞌ jeriꞌ rumal cher kataqiꞌ chike.
7 And I heard the altar reply: “Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments.”
Xuqujeꞌ xinta chi jun chꞌabꞌal upetik cho ri tzujbꞌal xubꞌij: qas tzij wi Ajawxel kwinel laj Dios sibꞌalaj sukꞌ xuqujeꞌ qas tzij ri qꞌatoj tzij la.
8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire.
Ri ukaj ángel xuꞌtixa ri kꞌo chupam ri qumubꞌal puꞌwiꞌ ri qꞌij, jeriꞌ ri qꞌij xya bꞌe che xuꞌporoj konojel ri winaq.
9 And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues; yet they did not repent and give Him glory.
Konojel ri winaq xekꞌatik, pune jeriꞌ man xkikꞌex ta wi kikꞌuꞌx, man xkiqꞌijilaꞌj ta ri Dios ri kꞌo ukwinem puꞌwiꞌ ri kꞌax, xane xketzelaj xuqujeꞌ xkibꞌij ri awas ubꞌixik che.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish
Ri uroꞌ ángel xuꞌtixa ri kꞌo pa ri uqumubꞌal puꞌwiꞌ ri utꞌuyulibꞌal ri nimalaj awaj. Xqꞌequꞌmataj kꞌut ronojel ri rajawarem ri awaj xuqujeꞌ konojel ri winaq kakitiꞌtitej ri kaqꞌ rumal ri qꞌoxom,
11 and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores; yet they did not repent of their deeds.

12 And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East.
Ri uwaq ángel are xuꞌtixa ri kꞌo pa ri uqumubꞌal puꞌwiꞌ ri nimalaj nimaꞌ Éufrates, ri nimaꞌ xchaqiꞌjarik rech jeriꞌ utz kiꞌkꞌow loq ri nimaq taq taqanelabꞌ ri keꞌl pa taq ri tinimit ri kꞌo pa relibꞌal qꞌij.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
Kꞌa te xinwilo xeꞌl loq puꞌchiꞌ ri kumatz ri kꞌo raqan oxibꞌ uxlabꞌal ri jer kebꞌantaj ixpeq, ri nimalaj awaj xuqujeꞌ ri achi ri kujaluj chi qꞌalajisal tzij.
14 These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.
Jeriꞌ kebꞌantajik rumal e ruxlabꞌal ri itzel are waꞌ ri kakibꞌan kꞌutbꞌal xuqujeꞌ mayijabꞌal taq jastaq kebꞌe kꞌu chikimulixik konojel ri e taqanelabꞌ rech ronojel ri uwachulew jeriꞌ kakibꞌan chꞌoꞌj pa ri qꞌij are kaqꞌat tzij pa kiwiꞌ rumal ri nimalaj kwinelalaj Dios.
15 “Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.”
Ri Ajawxel Jesús xubꞌij: “¡Chitampeꞌ! Ri in kinpe na jetaq kubꞌan jun elaqꞌom. Sibꞌalaj utz rech ri man warinaq ta apanoq xuqujeꞌ ukojom apanoq ri ratzꞌyaq, riꞌ man kel ta ukꞌixibꞌal rumal cher man chꞌanal taj are kul riqitajoq.”
16 And they assembled the kings in the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
Are kꞌu ri kuxlabꞌal ri itzel xeꞌkimulij ri e taqanelabꞌ rech ri uwachulew pa jun leꞌaj ri kabꞌix Armagedón che pa ri chꞌabꞌal kech ri aꞌj Israel.
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple, saying, “It is done!”
Ri uwuq ángel are xuꞌtixa ri uqumubꞌal pa ri kyaqiqꞌ. Xpe jun chꞌabꞌal rukꞌ ri tꞌuyulibꞌal ri kꞌo pa ri Templo pa ri kaj, xubꞌij: Xbꞌantajik.
18 And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and a great earthquake the likes of which had not occurred since men were upon the earth—so mighty was the great quake.
Kꞌa te riꞌ xepe taq kaqulja, jininik, kayapaꞌ, xuqujeꞌ jun nimalaj kabꞌraqan. Man kꞌulmatajinaq ta wi pa ri uwachulew jun jastaq ri kajunumataj rukꞌ we jun riꞌ.
19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.
Ri nimalaj tinimit xpaꞌix pa oxibꞌ qꞌat, xetukin konojel ri tinimit. Man xsachan ta kꞌu che ri Dios ri tinimit Babilonia, xbꞌan sibꞌalaj kꞌax che rumal ri royawal ri Dios.
20 Then every island fled, and no mountain could be found.
Konojel kꞌu ri chꞌaqaꞌp taq ulew ri sutital rij rumal taq ri jaꞌ rachiꞌl ri juyubꞌ xsach kiwach.
21 And great hailstones weighing almost a hundred pounds each rained down on them from above. And men cursed God for the plague of hail, because it was so horrendous.
Xuqujeꞌ xqaj saqbꞌach pa kiwiꞌ konojel ri winaq. Ri saqbꞌach jer kebꞌantaj abꞌaj, jubꞌiqꞌ karaj pa jun kintal kepajanik. Ri winaq xkibꞌij kꞌax taq tzij che ri Dios rumal ri kꞌax ri xkiriqo.
