< Revelation 16 >
1 Then I heard a loud voice from the temple saying to the seven angels, “Go, pour out on the earth the seven bowls of God’s wrath.”
Mgbe ahụ, anụrụ m oke olu si nʼụlọnsọ ahụ na-ada na-agwa ndị mmụọ ozi asaa ahụ okwu, “Ngwanụ, gaanụ wụsa ihe dị nʼefere ọnụma asaa Chineke ahụ nʼelu ụwa.”
2 So the first angel went and poured out his bowl on the earth, and loathsome, malignant sores broke out on those who had the mark of the beast and worshiped its image.
Mmụọ ozi nke mbụ pụrụ gaa wụsa ihe dị nʼefere nke ya nʼelu ụwa, ọnya ọjọọ na-egbu oke mgbu bịakwasịrị mmadụ niile nwere akara anụ ọhịa ahụ, na ndị na-akpọrọ oyiyi ya isiala.
3 And the second angel poured out his bowl into the sea, and it turned to blood like that of the dead, and every living thing in the sea died.
Mmụọ ozi nke abụọ wụsara ihe dị nʼime efere nke ya nʼelu osimiri niile. Otu mgbe ahụ, osimiri niile chagharịrị ghọọ ọbara dịka nke onye nwụrụ anwụ. Nke a mere ka ihe niile dị ndụ nʼime osimiri ahụ nwụọ.
4 And the third angel poured out his bowl into the rivers and springs of water, and they turned to blood.
Mmụọ ozi nke atọ pụrụ gaa wụsa ihe dị nʼefere nke ya nʼelu iyi na nʼelu isi iyi niile. Nke a mere ka ha niile ghọọ ọbara.
5 And I heard the angel of the waters say: “Righteous are You, O Holy One, who is and was, because You have brought these judgments.
Anụrụ m ka mmụọ ozi ahụ mmiri niile dị nʼaka ya kwuru okwu sị, “I kpere ikpe ziri ezi, Gị, Onye dị Nsọ, na onye na-adị site na mmalite, na onye na-adịkwa ugbu a.
6 For they have spilled the blood of saints and prophets, and You have given them blood to drink, as they deserve.”
Nʼihi na ha wụsara ọbara ndị nsọ gị na ndị amụma gị. Ma ugbu a, i nyela ha ọbara ka ha ṅụọ. Nke a bụkwa ezi ụgwọ ọrụ ha kwesiri ịnata.”
7 And I heard the altar reply: “Yes, Lord God Almighty, true and just are Your judgments.”
Mgbe ahụ kwa, anụrụ m ka mmụọ ozi ahụ na-anọ nʼebe ịchụ aja sịrị, “E, Onyenwe anyị Chineke, Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile, ikpe gị niile bụ nke ziri ezi, bụrụkwa eziokwu.”
8 Then the fourth angel poured out his bowl on the sun, and it was given power to scorch the people with fire.
Mmụọ ozi nke anọ pụrụ wụsa ihe dị nʼefere nke ya nʼelu anyanwụ si otu a mee ka anwụ were okpomọkụ ya chagbuo ndị mmadụ.
9 And the people were scorched by intense heat, and they cursed the name of God, who had authority over these plagues; yet they did not repent and give Him glory.
Okpomọkụ ahụ si nʼanyanwụ bịa rere onye ọbụla ọkụ nʼahụ. Nke a mere ka ndị mmadụ bido ịkọcha aha Chineke, onye nwere ike ịchị ihe otiti ndị a, ma ha jụrụ ichegharị nye ya otuto.
10 And the fifth angel poured out his bowl on the throne of the beast, and its kingdom was plunged into darkness, and men began to gnaw their tongues in anguish
Mmụọ ozi nke ise pụrụ wụkwasị ihe dị nʼefere nke ya nʼelu ocheeze anụ ọhịa ahụ, mee ka alaeze ya jupụta nʼọchịchịrị. Ndị mmadụ tabiri ire ha nʼihi oke ahụ ụfụ.
11 and curse the God of heaven for their pains and sores; yet they did not repent of their deeds.
Ha kọchara Chineke nke eluigwe nʼihi ihe ụfụ na ọnya bịakwasịrị ha. Ma ha jụrụ ichegharị site nʼajọ ọrụ ha niile.
12 And the sixth angel poured out his bowl on the great river Euphrates, and its water was dried up to prepare the way for the kings of the East.
Mmụọ ozi nke isii pụkwara wụkwasị ihe dị nʼefere ya nʼelu mmiri ukwu ahụ bụ Yufretis si otu a mee ka mmiri dị nʼime ya taa. Nke a mere ka ọ dịrị ndị eze ahụ si nʼọwụwa anyanwụ mfe.
13 And I saw three unclean spirits that looked like frogs coming out of the mouths of the dragon, the beast, and the false prophet.
Ahụrụ mmụọ atọ rụrụ arụ ndị pụtara ihe nʼụdịdị awọ, ha si nʼọnụ agwọ ochie ahụ na nʼọnụ anụ ọhịa ahụ nwere ike ịrụ ọrụ ịtụnanya pụta, na nʼọnụ onye amụma ụgha ahụ.
14 These are demonic spirits that perform signs and go out to all the kings of the earth, to assemble them for battle on the great day of God the Almighty.
Ha bụ mmụọ nke ajọ mmụọ ndị ahụ na-arụ ọrụ ịrịbama. Ọ bụ ha na-ejekwuru ndị eze ụwa niile ịchịkọta ha maka ibu agha nʼụbọchị ukwu ahụ bụ ụbọchị Chineke Onye pụrụ ime ihe niile.
15 “Behold, I am coming like a thief. Blessed is the one who remains awake and clothed, so that he will not go naked and let his shame be exposed.”
“Lee! Ana m abịa dịka onye ohi. Ngọzị na-adịrị onye ahụ nọ na-eche nche, ndị yi uwe ha na njikere, ka ọ ghara ijegharị nʼọnọdụ ịgba ọtọ, bụrụ onye ọnọdụ ya na-eweta ihere.”
16 And they assembled the kings in the place that in Hebrew is called Armageddon.
Ha kpọkọrọ ndị eze ahụ nʼotu ebe a na-akpọ Amagidọn nʼasụsụ Hibru.
17 Then the seventh angel poured out his bowl into the air, and a loud voice came from the throne in the temple, saying, “It is done!”
Mmụọ ozi nke asaa wụpụrụ ihe dị nʼefere nke ya nʼikuku, otu olu sitere nʼocheeze dị nʼụlọnsọ ukwu ahụ daa ụda sị, “Emezuola ya!”
18 And there were flashes of lightning, and rumblings, and peals of thunder, and a great earthquake the likes of which had not occurred since men were upon the earth—so mighty was the great quake.
Mgbe ahụ egbe eluigwe bidoro na-agba na-eme mkpọtụ, amụma bidokwara na-egbu, oke ala ọma jijiji dịkwara nʼụwa, ụdị nke na-adịbeghị site na mgbe e kere ụwa. Ọ bụ ala ọma jijiji kachasị ala ọma jijiji ndị ọzọ njọ.
19 The great city was split into three parts, and the cities of the nations collapsed. And God remembered Babylon the great and gave her the cup of the wine of the fury of His wrath.
Obodo ukwu ahụ kewara ụzọ atọ. Obodo niile dị na mba niile dakwara. Chineke chetara obodo ukwu ahụ bụ Babilọn. O nyere ya iko jupụtara na mmanya nke nʼoke iwe nke ọnụma ya.
20 Then every island fled, and no mountain could be found.
Mgbe ahụ, agwa etiti niile mikpuru, ugwu niile ghọrọ ala dị larịị.
21 And great hailstones weighing almost a hundred pounds each rained down on them from above. And men cursed God for the plague of hail, because it was so horrendous.
Mkpụrụ mmiri nke ịdị arọ otu nʼime ha ruru kilogram iri anọ na ọkara, sitere nʼeluigwe na-adakwasị ndị mmadụ. Nke a mekwara ka ha kọchaa Chineke nʼihi ihe ntaramahụhụ nke mkpụrụ mmiri ahụ, nʼihi na ihe ntaramahụhụ ahụ dị nnọọ njọ nke ukwuu.
