Psalms 94
1 O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth.
Seyè, ou menm Bondye ki gen dwa tire revanj lan, parèt non pou fè yo wè ki moun ou ye.
2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud.
Ou menm k'ap jije tout moun sou latè, leve non! Bay moun k'ap pran pòz gwokolèt yo sa yo merite!
3 How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked exult?
Kilè mechan yo va sispann fè fèt? Wi, Seyè, kilè y'a sispann?
4 They pour out arrogant words; all workers of iniquity boast.
Kilè moun k'ap fè sa ki mal yo va sispann fè grandizè? Kilè y'a sispann fè bèl diskou pou rakonte krim yo fè?
5 They crush Your people, O LORD; they oppress Your heritage.
Seyè, y'ap kraze pèp ou a, y'ap peze moun pa ou yo.
6 They kill the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless.
Y'ap koupe kou vèv yo, y'ap koupe kou timoun ki san papa yo, y'ap ansasinen etranje k'ap viv nan peyi a.
7 They say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed.”
Lè konsa yo di: Seyè a pa wè nou! Bondye pèp Izrayèl la pa okipe bagay konsa!
8 Take notice, O senseless among the people! O fools, when will you be wise?
Nou menm, bann san konprann, manyè fè atansyon non! Bann moun fou, kilè n'a konprann?
9 He who affixed the ear, can He not hear? He who formed the eye, can He not see?
Bondye ki bay zòrèy, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka tande? Bondye ki fè je, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka wè?
10 He who admonishes the nations, does He not discipline? He who teaches man, does He lack knowledge?
Limenm ki reskonsab tout nasyon yo, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka pini yo? Limenm k'ap bay moun tout kalite konesans, ki jan pou l' pa ta ka konnen?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
Seyè a konnen lide lèzòm gen nan tèt yo. Li konnen sa pa vo anyen.
12 Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD, and teach from Your law,
Ala bon sa bon, Seyè, lè w'ap korije yon moun, pou fè l' konnen sa ki nan lalwa ou,
13 to grant him relief from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.
pou l' ka rete ak kè poze lè jou malè a rive, jouk y'a fouye twou pou antere mechan an.
14 For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage.
Seyè a p'ap voye pèp li a jete, li p'ap vire do bay moun ki pou li yo.
15 Surely judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
Lè sa a, moun va jwenn jistis nan tribinal, tout moun ki mache dwat va dakò avèk sa.
16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity?
Kilès ki va kanpe pou mwen kont mechan yo? Kilès ki va pran pou mwen kont moun k'ap fè mal yo?
17 Unless the LORD had been my helper, I would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.
Si se pa t' Seyè a ki te sekou mwen, gen lontan depi mwen ta mouri.
18 If I say, “My foot is slipping,” Your loving devotion, O LORD, supports me.
Lè mwen di: Men m'ap tonbe wi! Se ou menm, Seyè, ki soutni m' paske ou gen bon kè.
19 When anxiety overwhelms me, Your consolation delights my soul.
Lè m' nan tèt chaje, lè mwen pa konn sa pou m' fè, se ou menm ki ban m' kouraj, se ou menm ki fè kè m' kontan.
20 Can a corrupt throne be Your ally— one devising mischief by decree?
Eske ou nan konfyolo avèk jij pèvèti sa yo, k'ap fè mechanste yo pase pou lalwa?
21 They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.
Y'ap fè konplo sou moun ki mache dwat yo, y'ap kondannen inonsan yo amò.
22 But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God is my rock of refuge.
Men, Seyè a se tout defans mwen. Bondye mwen, se twou wòch kote m' jwenn pwoteksyon.
23 He will bring upon them their own iniquity and destroy them for their wickedness. The LORD our God will destroy them.
L'ap fè mechanste yo a tonbe sou pwòp tèt yo, l'ap fè peche yo a touye yo. Seyè a, Bondye nou an, ap disparèt yo.
