< Psalms 94 >
1 O LORD, God of vengeance, O God of vengeance, shine forth.
Aw Angraeng Sithaw, lu lakung; Aw lu lakung Sithaw, amtueng thuih raeh.
2 Rise up, O Judge of the earth; render a reward to the proud.
Aw long lokcaekkung, angthawk ah; amoek kami han katingah tangqum to paek ah.
3 How long will the wicked, O LORD, how long will the wicked exult?
Angraeng, kasae kaminawk loe nasetto maw, kahoih ai kaminawk loe nasetto maw nawm o vop tih?
4 They pour out arrogant words; all workers of iniquity boast.
Sethaih sah kaminawk loe amoek o boih, nihcae loe nasetto maw lok kaham lok to apae o vop tih?
5 They crush Your people, O LORD; they oppress Your heritage.
Aw Angraeng, nihcae mah nang ih kaminawk to atit o moe, na qawktoep kaminawk to pacaekthlaek o.
6 They kill the widow and the foreigner; they murder the fatherless.
Lamhmainawk, angvinnawk hoi ampa tawn ai kaminawk to a hum o.
7 They say, “The LORD does not see; the God of Jacob pays no heed.”
Angraeng mah hnu mak ai hmang, Jakob ih Sithaw mah doeh dawncang mak ai, tiah a thuih o.
8 Take notice, O senseless among the people! O fools, when will you be wise?
Minawk salakah kaom poekhaih tawn ai kaminawk, panoek oh; kamthu kaminawk, natuek naah maw palung na haa o tih?
9 He who affixed the ear, can He not hear? He who formed the eye, can He not see?
Naa sahkung mah loe thaih mak ai maw? Mik sahkung mah loe hnu mak ai maw?
10 He who admonishes the nations, does He not discipline? He who teaches man, does He lack knowledge?
Sithaw panoek ai kami thuitaekkung mah loe, danpaek ai ah om tih maw? Kami palunghahaih patukkung loe, panoekhaih tawn ai maw?
11 The LORD knows the thoughts of man, that they are futile.
Kami poekhaih loe azom pui ni, tiah Angraeng mah panoek.
12 Blessed is the man You discipline, O LORD, and teach from Your law,
Aw Angraeng, kasae kami hanah tangqom takae ai karoek to, karai tonghaih niah anih to nang haksak hanah, na thuihtaek moe, na lok patuk ih kami loe tahamhoih.
13 to grant him relief from days of trouble, until a pit is dug for the wicked.
14 For the LORD will not forsake His people; He will never abandon His heritage.
Angraeng mah angmah ih kaminawk to pahnawt sut mak ai, angmah ih qawktoep kaminawk doeh prawtsut mak ai.
15 Surely judgment will again be righteous, and all the upright in heart will follow it.
Toenghaih nuiah lokcaekhaih to om tih, poektoeng kaminawk boih loe to hmuen to pazui o tih.
16 Who will rise up for me against the wicked? Who will stand for me against the workers of iniquity?
Kasae kaminawk tuk hanah mi maw kai hanah angthawk tih? To tih ai boeh loe kasae sah kaminawk tuk hanah mi maw kai han angdoe tih?
17 Unless the LORD had been my helper, I would soon have dwelt in the abode of silence.
Angraeng mah na bomh ai nahaeloe, akra ai ah ka hinghaih hae amding rue duekhaih ahmuen ah ka om tih boeh.
18 If I say, “My foot is slipping,” Your loving devotion, O LORD, supports me.
Kai mah, Ka khok loe amthaek boeh, tiah ka thuih naah, Aw Angraeng, na palungnathaih hoiah kai to nang patawnh.
19 When anxiety overwhelms me, Your consolation delights my soul.
Ka palung thung poekhaih angpung sut naah, ka hinghaih to nang hoesak.
20 Can a corrupt throne be Your ally— one devising mischief by decree?
Toeng ai ah lokcaek kaminawk to na koeh ai, kamro angraeng tangkhang loe nang hoiah angkomhaih oh maw?
21 They band together against the righteous and condemn the innocent to death.
Nihcae loe katoeng kami hinghaih to lak hanah, amkhueng o moe, zaehaih tawn ai kami hum hanah khokhan o.
22 But the LORD has been my stronghold, and my God is my rock of refuge.
Toe Angraeng loe kacak kai ih sipae ah oh; ka Sithaw loe ka buephaih lungsong ah oh.
23 He will bring upon them their own iniquity and destroy them for their wickedness. The LORD our God will destroy them.
Angraeng mah nihcae zaehaih to angmacae nuiah krahsak ueloe, kasae a sak o haih pongah nihcae to amrosak tih; ue, aicae Angraeng Sithaw mah nihcae to paro tih.
