Psalms 91
1 He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty.
Који живи у заклону Вишњег, у сену Свемогућег почива.
2 I will say to the LORD, “You are my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”
Говори Господу: Ти си уточиште моје и бранич мој, Бог мој, у ког се уздам.
3 Surely He will deliver you from the snare of the fowler, and from the deadly plague.
Он ће те избавити из замке птичареве, и од љутог помора;
4 He will cover you with His feathers; under His wings you will find refuge; His faithfulness is a shield and rampart.
Перјем својим осениће те, и под крилима Његовим заклонићеш се; истина је Његова штит и ограда.
5 You will not fear the terror of the night, nor the arrow that flies by day,
Нећеш се бојати страхоте ноћне, стреле, која лети дању,
6 nor the pestilence that stalks in the darkness, nor the calamity that destroys at noon.
Помора, који иде по мраку, болести, која у подне мори.
7 Though a thousand may fall at your side, and ten thousand at your right hand, no harm will come near you.
Пашће поред тебе хиљада и десет хиљада с десне стране теби, а тебе се неће дотаћи.
8 You will only see it with your eyes and witness the punishment of the wicked.
Само ћеш гледати очима својим, и видећеш плату безбожницима.
9 Because you have made the LORD your dwelling— my refuge, the Most High—
Јер си Ти, Господе, поуздање моје. Вишњег си изабрао себи за уточиште.
10 no evil will befall you, no plague will approach your tent.
Неће Те зло задесити, и ударац неће досегнути до колибе Твоје.
11 For He will command His angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.
Јер анђелима својим заповеда за Тебе да Те чувају по свим путевима Твојим.
12 They will lift you up in their hands, so that you will not strike your foot against a stone.
На руке ће Те узети да где не запнеш за камен ногом својом.
13 You will tread on the lion and cobra; you will trample the young lion and serpent.
На лава и на аспиду наступаћеш и газићеш лавића и змаја.
14 “Because he loves Me, I will deliver him; because he knows My name, I will protect him.
"Кад ме љуби, избавићу Га; заклонићу Га, кад је познао име моје.
15 When he calls out to Me, I will answer him; I will be with him in trouble. I will deliver him and honor him.
Зазваће ме, и услишићу Га; с Њим ћу бити у невољи, избавићу Га и прославићу Га.
16 With long life I will satisfy him and show him My salvation.”
Дугог живота наситићу Га, и показаћу му спасење своје."
