Psalms 87

1 A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A song. He has founded His city on the holy mountains.

O seu fundamento está nos montes sanctos.

2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

O Senhor ama as portas de Sião, mais do que todas as habitações de Jacob.

3 Glorious things are ascribed to you, O city of God.

Coisas gloriosas se dizem de ti, ó cidade de Deus. (Selah)

4 “I will mention Rahab and Babylon among those who know Me— along with Philistia, Tyre, and Cush — when I say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”

Farei menção de Rahab e de Babylonia áquelles que me conhecem: eis-que da Philisteia, e de Tyro, e da Ethiopia, se dirá: Este homem nasceu ali

5 And it will be said of Zion: “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High Himself will establish her.”

E de Sião se dirá: Este e aquelle nasceu ali; e o mesmo Altissimo a estabelecerá.

6 The LORD will record in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.”

O Senhor contará na descripção dos povos que este homem nasceu ali. (Selah)

7 Singers and pipers will proclaim, “All my springs of joy are in You.”

Assim como os cantores e tocadores de instrumentos estarão lá, todas as minhas fontes estão dentro de ti
