Psalms 87

1 A Psalm of the sons of Korah. A song. He has founded His city on the holy mountains.

യഹോവ വിശുദ്ധപൎവ്വതത്തിൽ സ്ഥാപിച്ച നഗരത്തെ,

2 The LORD loves the gates of Zion more than all the dwellings of Jacob.

സീയോന്റെ പടിവാതിലുകളെ തന്നേ, യാക്കോബിന്റെ സകലനിവാസങ്ങളെക്കാളും അധികം സ്നേഹിക്കുന്നു.

3 Glorious things are ascribed to you, O city of God.

ദൈവത്തിന്റെ നഗരമേ, നിന്നെക്കുറിച്ചു മഹത്വമുള്ള കാൎയ്യങ്ങൾ അരുളിച്ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു. (സേലാ)

4 “I will mention Rahab and Babylon among those who know Me— along with Philistia, Tyre, and Cush — when I say, ‘This one was born in Zion.’”

ഞാൻ എന്റെ പരിചയക്കാരുടെ കൂട്ടത്തിൽ രഹബിനെയും ബാബേലിനെയും ഫെലിസ്ത്യർ, സോർ, കൂശ് എന്നിവരെയും പ്രസ്താവിക്കും; ഇവൻ അവിടെ ജനിച്ചു.

5 And it will be said of Zion: “This one and that one were born in her, and the Most High Himself will establish her.”

ഇവനും അവനും അവിടെ ജനിച്ചു എന്നും സീയോനെക്കുറിച്ചു പറയും; അത്യുന്നതൻ തന്നേ അതിനെ സ്ഥാപിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

6 The LORD will record in the register of the peoples: “This one was born in Zion.”

യഹോവ വംശങ്ങളെ എഴുതുമ്പോൾ: ഇവൻ അവിടെ ജനിച്ചു എന്നിങ്ങനെ എണ്ണും (സേലാ)

7 Singers and pipers will proclaim, “All my springs of joy are in You.”

എന്റെ ഉറവുകൾ ഒക്കെയും നിന്നിൽ ആകുന്നു എന്നു സംഗീതക്കാരും നൃത്തം ചെയ്യുന്നവരും ഒരുപോലെ പറയും.
