Psalms 85
1 For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. You showed favor to Your land, O LORD; You restored Jacob from captivity.
Untuk pemimpin kor. Mazmur kaum Korah. Engkau berkenan kepada tanah-Mu, ya TUHAN, keadaan Israel sudah Kaupulihkan.
2 You forgave the iniquity of Your people; You covered all their sin.
Engkau sudah mengampuni dosa-dosa umat-Mu; Kaumaafkan segala kesalahannya.
3 You withheld all Your fury; You turned from Your burning anger.
Mereka tidak lagi Kaumarahi; murka-Mu yang dahsyat Kautarik kembali.
4 Restore us, O God of our salvation, and put away Your displeasure toward us.
Pulihkanlah kami, ya Allah penyelamat kami, jangan murka lagi kepada kami.
5 Will You be angry with us forever? Will You draw out Your anger to all generations?
Untuk selamanyakah Engkau memarahi kami, dan tetap marah turun-temurun?
6 Will You not revive us again, that Your people may rejoice in You?
Kuatkanlah kami kembali supaya kami umat-Mu bergembira karena pertolongan-Mu.
7 Show us Your loving devotion, O LORD, and grant us Your salvation.
Tunjukkanlah bahwa Engkau tetap mengasihi, ya TUHAN, berilah kami keselamatan daripada-Mu.
8 I will listen to what God the LORD will say; for He will surely speak peace to His people and His saints; He will not let them return to folly.
Aku mau mendengar perkataan TUHAN Allah; Ia menjanjikan kesejahteraan kepada kita, umat-Nya, asal kita tidak kembali berbuat dosa.
9 Surely His salvation is near to those who fear Him, that His glory may dwell in our land.
Sungguh, Ia siap menyelamatkan orang yang takwa, Allah yang agung akan berdiam di negeri kita.
10 Loving devotion and faithfulness have joined together; righteousness and peace have kissed.
Kasih dan kesetiaan akan bertemu, keadilan dan damai akan berpeluk-pelukan.
11 Faithfulness sprouts from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.
Kesetiaan manusia akan tumbuh dari bumi, dan keadilan Allah menjenguk dari langit.
12 The LORD will indeed provide what is good, and our land will yield its increase.
TUHAN mengaruniakan yang baik, maka tanah kita akan memberikan hasilnya.
13 Righteousness will go before Him to prepare the way for His steps.
Keadilan akan mendahului TUHAN, dan menyiapkan jalan bagi-Nya.
