1 For the choirmaster. According to Gittith. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. How lovely is Your dwelling place, O LORD of Hosts!

2 My soul longs, even faints, for the courts of the LORD; my heart and my flesh cry out for the living God.

我的心靈對上主的宮庭渴慕及緬懷。我的心靈及肉身向生活的天主踴躍歡欣。

3 Even the sparrow has found a home, and the swallow a nest for herself, where she places her young near Your altars, O LORD of Hosts, my King and my God.

萬軍的上主，我的君王，我的天主，麻雀您的祭壇找到了住所，燕子也找到了安置 幼雛的窩巢。

4 How blessed are those who dwell in Your house! They are ever praising You.

上主，居住在您的殿宇，時常讚美您的，真是有福！

5 Blessed are those whose strength is in You, whose hearts are set on pilgrimage.

那以您作為自己的助佑，居心朝聖的人，真是有福！

6 As they pass through the Valley of Baca, they make it a place of springs; even the autumn rain covers it with pools.

他們把他們經過的乾谷變為水泉，並以初雨給乾谷披上祝福的衣衫。

7 They go from strength to strength, until each appears before God in Zion.

他們的體力越行越壯，來到熙雍覲見至高天主。

8 O LORD God of Hosts, hear my prayer; give ear, O God of Jacob.

萬軍的上主，求您允我的懇請，雅各伯的天主，求您側耳傾聽！

9 Take notice of our shield, O God, and look with favor on the face of Your anointed.

天主，我們的護盾，求您目睹，請對您的受傅者予以回顧。

10 For better is one day in Your courts than a thousand elsewhere. I would rather be a doorkeeper in the house of my God than dwell in the tents of the wicked.

的確在您的聖殿逗留一日，遠勝過在別處逗千日。我寧願站在我天主殿宇的門限，我不願逗留在惡人帳幕的裏面，

11 For the LORD God is a sun and a shield; the LORD gives grace and glory; He withholds no good thing from those who walk with integrity.

因為上主天主是護盾。上主常廣施恩愛和光榮；祂對行為正直純潔的人，從來不會拒絕賜祐賜福。

12 O LORD of Hosts, how blessed is the man who trusts in You!

萬軍的上主，依賴您的人，那人才是真有福的。
