Psalms 79
1 A Psalm of Asaph. The nations, O God, have invaded Your inheritance; they have defiled Your holy temple and reduced Jerusalem to rubble.
१आसाफाचे स्तोत्र हे देवा, परकी राष्ट्रे तुझ्या वतनात शिरली आहेत; त्यांनी तुझे पवित्र मंदिर भ्रष्ट केले आहे; त्यांनी यरूशलेमेचे ढिगारे केले आहेत.
2 They have given the corpses of Your servants as food to the birds of the air, the flesh of Your saints to the beasts of the earth.
२त्यांनी तुझ्या सेवकांची प्रेते आकाशातील पक्ष्यांना, व पृथ्वीवरील पशूंना तुझ्यावर विश्वास ठेवणाऱ्यांचे मांस खाण्यासाठी दिले आहे.
3 They have poured out their blood like water all around Jerusalem, and there is no one to bury the dead.
३त्यांनी यरूशलेमेभोवती पाण्यासारखे रक्ताचे पाट वाहविले आहेत; आणि त्यांना पुरण्यास कोणी राहिले नव्हते.
4 We have become a reproach to our neighbors, a scorn and derision to those around us.
४आम्ही आमच्या शेजाऱ्यांस निंदास्पद, आमच्या भोवतालच्या लोकांस थट्टा आणि उपहास असे झालो आहोत.
5 How long, O LORD? Will You be angry forever? Will Your jealousy burn like fire?
५हे परमेश्वरा, हे कोठवर चालणार? सर्वकाळपर्यंत तू रागावलेला राहशील का? तुझी ईर्षा अग्नीसारखी कोठपर्यंत जळत राहील?
6 Pour out Your wrath on the nations that do not acknowledge You, on the kingdoms that refuse to call on Your name,
६जी राष्ट्रे तुला ओळखत नाहीत, जी राज्ये तुझ्या नावाने धावा करीत नाहीत, त्यांच्यावर तू आपला क्रोध ओत.
7 for they have devoured Jacob and devastated his homeland.
७कारण त्यांनी याकोबाला खाऊन टाकले आहे, आणि त्यांनी त्याच्या खेड्यांचा नाश केला आहे.
8 Do not hold past sins against us; let Your compassion come quickly, for we are brought low.
८आमच्याविरूद्ध आमच्या पूर्वजांची पापे आठवू नकोस. तुझी करुणा आमच्यावर लवकर होवो, कारण आम्हास तुझी नितांत गरज आहे.
9 Help us, O God of our salvation, for the glory of Your name; deliver us and atone for our sins, for the sake of Your name.
९हे आमच्या तारणाऱ्या देवा, तू आपल्या नावाच्या गौरवाकरता, आम्हास मदत कर; आम्हास वाचव आणि आपल्या नावाकरता आमच्या पापांची क्षमा कर.
10 Why should the nations ask, “Where is their God?” Before our eyes, make known among the nations Your vengeance for the bloodshed of Your servants.
१०ह्यांचा देव कोठे आहे असे राष्ट्रांनी का म्हणावे? तुझ्या सेवकांचे जे रक्त पाडले गेले, त्याबद्दलचा सूड उगविण्यात आला आहे हे आमच्या देखत राष्ट्रांमध्ये कळावे.
11 May the groans of the captives reach You; by the strength of Your arm preserve those condemned to death.
११कैद्यांचे कण्हणे तुझ्या कानी येऊ दे; ज्या मुलांना मारण्यासाठी नेमले आहे त्यांना आपल्या महान सामर्थ्याने जिवंत ठेव.
12 Pay back into the laps of our neighbors sevenfold the reproach they hurled at You, O Lord.
१२हे प्रभू, आमच्या शेजारी राष्ट्रांनी ज्या अपमानाने तुला अपमानीत केले त्यांच्या पदरी तो उलट सात पटीने घाल.
13 Then we Your people, the sheep of Your pasture, will thank You forever; from generation to generation we will declare Your praise.
१३मग आम्ही तुझे लोक आणि तुझ्या कळपातील मेंढरे ते आम्ही सर्वकाळ तुला धन्यवाद देऊ. आम्ही सर्व पिढ्यानपिढ्या तुझी स्तुती वर्णीत जाऊ.
