< Psalms 73 >
1 A Psalm of Asaph. Surely God is good to Israel, to those who are pure in heart.
Zaburi mar Asaf. Adier Nyasaye timo maber ni jo-Israel, otimo maber ne jogo maler ei chunygi.
2 But as for me, my feet had almost stumbled; my steps had nearly slipped.
Anto tiendena nodwaro kier. Ne achiegni aa kama ne anyono.
3 For I envied the arrogant when I saw the prosperity of the wicked.
Nimar ne agombo timbe joma ochayo ji kane aneno kaka joma timbegi richo dhi maber.
4 They have no struggle in their death; their bodies are well-fed.
Gionge gi pek moro amora kendo dendgi ber kendo otegno.
5 They are free of the burdens others carry; they are not afflicted like other men.
Chandruok mamako ji gin ok yudgi kendo ok githagre kaka ji mamoko thagore.
6 Therefore pride is their necklace; a garment of violence covers them.
Emomiyo sunga chalonegi thiwni mar ngʼut, kendo girwako mahundu ka law.
7 From their prosperity proceeds iniquity; the imaginations of their hearts run wild.
Wengegi onyiedhore gi bor kendo miriambo maricho mopongʼo pachgi onge gikogi.
8 They mock and speak with malice; with arrogance they threaten oppression.
Gijaro ji kendo giwuoyo ka gihimo ji, nikech gichayo ji gisiko gibwogo ji ni ji biro wuoro.
9 They set their mouths against the heavens, and their tongues strut across the earth.
Giwacho weche polo gi dhogi to lewgi to gimakogo mwandu mag piny.
10 So their people return to this place and drink up waters in abundance.
Emomiyo jogegi doknegi kendo pakogi kendo ok giyud rach moro amora kuomgi.
11 The wicked say, “How can God know? Does the Most High have knowledge?”
Giwacho niya, “Ere kaka Nyasaye nyalo ngʼeyo? Nyasaye Man Malo Moloyo to ongʼeyo angʼo?”
12 Behold, these are the wicked— always carefree as they increase their wealth.
Kama e kaka joma timbegi richo chalo, ok gidew gimoro amora kendo mwandugi osiko medore ameda.
13 Surely in vain I have kept my heart pure; in innocence I have washed my hands.
Kare asetemo ritora mondo chunya osik kaler kayiem, kendo asetemo gengʼo lwetena ni kik omul richo kayiem.
14 For I am afflicted all day long and punished every morning.
Nimar asiko achandora seche duto, kendo ayudo kum okinyi kokinyi.
15 If I had said, “I will speak this way,” then I would have betrayed Your children.
Ka dine bed ni awacho kamano, to dine andhogo nyithindi.
16 When I tried to understand all this, it was troublesome in my sight
To kane atemo winjo tiend gigi duto, to ne opek mohinga;
17 until I entered God’s sanctuary; then I discerned their end.
nyaka ne adonjo kama ler mar lemo mar Nyasaye; eka nawinjo kaka gikogi nobedi.
18 Surely You set them on slick ground; You cast them down into ruin.
Chutho iketogi kama poth-poth, kendo idwokogi piny mi gikethre.
19 How suddenly they are laid waste, completely swept away by terrors!
Mano kaka itiekogi apoya nono, mi masiche malich lal kodgi nono!
20 Like one waking from a dream, so You, O Lord, awaken and despise their form.
Gilal nono ka lek ma ngʼato oleko gokinyi, omiyo e kinde ma ia malo, yaye Ruoth Nyasaye, to ok ibi dewogi mana ka kido maonge.
21 When my heart was grieved and I was pierced within,
Kane iya owangʼ, kendo chunya winjo lit,
22 I was senseless and ignorant; I was a brute beast before You.
to pacha nolal kendo ne abedo mofuwo, ne achalo le maonge rieko e nyimi.
23 Yet I am always with You; You hold my right hand.
Kata kamano an kodi ndalo duto, kendo imaka gi bada korachwich.
24 You guide me with Your counsel, and later receive me in glory.
Itaya gi rieko mingʼadona kendo bangʼe ibiro tera kar duongʼ.
25 Whom have I in heaven but You? And on earth I desire no one besides You.
En ngʼa ma an-go e polo makmana in? Piny bende onge gi gimoro amora madwaro moloyi.
26 My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
Ringra gi chunya nyalo doko manyap, to Nyasaye ema miyo chunya teko, kendo en e girkeni mara nyaka chiengʼ.
27 Those far from You will surely perish; You destroy all who are unfaithful to You.
Joma ni mabor kodi biro lal nono kendo ibiro tieko ji duto ma ok jo-adiera ne in.
28 But as for me, it is good to draw near to God. I have made the Lord GOD my refuge, that I may proclaim all Your works.
An to berna ka an but Nyasaye. Aseketo Jehova Nyasaye Manyalo Gik Moko Duto kar pondona, kendo abiro lando gik moko duto mitimo.
