Psalms 63
1 A Psalm of David, when he was in the Wilderness of Judah. O God, You are my God. Earnestly I seek You; my soul thirsts for You. My body yearns for You in a dry and weary land without water.
Salmo de David. Mientras vagaba por el desierto de Judá. Oh Dios, Tú eres el Dios mío, a Ti te busco ansioso; mi alma tiene sed de Ti, y mi carne sin Ti languidece, como (esta) tierra árida y yerma, falta de agua.
2 So I have seen You in the sanctuary and beheld Your power and glory.
Así vuelvo mis ojos hacia Ti en el santuario, para contemplar tu poder y tu gloria;
3 Because Your loving devotion is better than life, my lips will glorify You.
porque tu gracia vale más que la vida, por eso mis labios te alabarán.
4 So I will bless You as long as I live; in Your name I will lift my hands.
Así te bendeciré toda mi vida y hacia tu Nombre levantaré mis manos.
5 My soul is satisfied as with the richest of foods; with joyful lips my mouth will praise You.
Mi alma quedará saciada como de médula y gordura, y mi boca te celebrará con labios de exultación,
6 When I remember You on my bed, I think of You through the watches of the night.
cada vez que me acuerde de Ti en mi lecho y en mis insomnios medite sobre Ti;
7 For You are my help; I will sing for joy in the shadow of Your wings.
porque en verdad Tú te hiciste mi amparo, y a la sombra de tus alas me siento feliz.
8 My soul clings to You; Your right hand upholds me.
Si mi alma se adhiere a Ti, tu diestra me sustenta.
9 But those who seek my life to destroy it will go into the depths of the earth.
Los que quieren quitarme la vida caerán en lo profundo de la tierra.
10 They will fall to the power of the sword; they will become a portion for foxes.
Serán entregados al poder de la espada, y formarán la porción de los chacales,
11 But the king will rejoice in God; all who swear by Him will exult, for the mouths of liars will be shut.
en tanto que el rey se alegrará en Dios y se gloriará todo el que jura por Él; pues será cerrada la boca a los que hablan iniquidad.
