Psalms 54

1 For the choirmaster. With stringed instruments. A Maskil of David. When the Ziphites went to Saul and said, “Is David not hiding among us?” Save me, O God, by Your name, and vindicate me by Your might!

ऐ ख़ुदा! अपने नाम के वसीले से मुझे बचा, और अपनी कु़दरत से मेरा इन्साफ़ कर।

2 Hear my prayer, O God; listen to the words of my mouth.

ऐ ख़ुदा मेरी दुआ सुन ले; मेरे मुँह की बातों पर कान लगा।

3 For strangers rise up against me, and ruthless men seek my life— men with no regard for God.

क्यूँकि बेगाने मेरे ख़िलाफ़ उठे हैं, और टेढ़े लोग मेरी जान के तलबगार हुए हैं; उन्होंने ख़ुदा को अपने सामने नहीं रख्खा।

4 Surely God is my helper; the Lord is the sustainer of my soul.

देखो, ख़ुदा मेरा मददगार है! ख़ुदावन्द मेरी जान को संभालने वालों में है।

5 He will reward my enemies with evil. In Your faithfulness, destroy them.

वह बुराई को मेरे दुश्मनों ही पर लौटा देगा; तू अपनी सच्चाई की रूह से उनको फ़ना कर!

6 Freely I will sacrifice to You; I will praise Your name, O LORD, for it is good.

मैं तेरे सामने रज़ा की कु़र्बानी चढ़ाऊँगा; ऐ ख़ुदावन्द! मैं तेरे नाम की शुक्रगु़ज़ारी करूँगा क्यूँकि वह खू़ब है।

7 For He has delivered me from every trouble, and my eyes have stared down my foes.

क्यूँकि उसने मुझे सब मुसीबतों से छुड़ाया है, और मेरी आँख ने मेरे दुश्मनों को देख लिया है।
