< Psalms 50 >

1 A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from where the sun rises to where it sets.
Asaf dwom. Tweduampɔn, Onyankopɔn, Awurade no kasa, na ɔfrɛ asase nyinaa efi apuei kosi atɔe.
2 From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
Onyankopɔn hyerɛn fi Sion kurow a ne fɛ wie pɛyɛ.
3 Our God approaches and will not be silent! Consuming fire precedes Him, and a tempest rages around Him.
Yɛn Nyankopɔn reba nanso ɔrenyɛ komm; ogya a ɛhyew nneɛma di nʼanim, ahum a ɛretu atwa ne ho ahyia.
4 He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that He may judge His people:
Ɔfrɛ ɔsorosoro ne asase, sɛ ɔrebu ne nkurɔfo atɛn;
5 “Gather to Me My saints, who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”
Ɔka se, “Boaboa nnipa a wɔatew wɔn ho no ano ma me; wɔn a wɔnam afɔrebɔ so ne me yɛɛ apam no.”
6 And the heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge.
Ɔsoro pae mu ka ne trenee, na Onyankopɔn ankasa ne otemmufo.
7 “Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God.
“Muntie, me nkurɔfo, na mɛkasa, medi adanse atia wo, Israel; Mene Onyankopɔn, wo Nyankopɔn no.
8 I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices, and your burnt offerings are ever before Me.
Merenka mo anim wɔ mo afɔrebɔde anaa mo hyew afɔre a ɛwɔ mʼanim daa no ho.
9 I have no need for a bull from your stall or goats from your pens,
Anantwinini a wofi mo mfuw so anaa mpapo a wofi mo buw mu ho nhia me,
10 for every beast of the forest is Mine— the cattle on a thousand hills.
efisɛ kwae mu aboa biara yɛ me de, anantwi a wɔwɔ nkoko mpempem so nso saa ara.
11 I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are Mine.
Minim anomaa biara a ɔwɔ mmepɔw no so, na wuram abɔde nyinaa yɛ me de.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and the fullness thereof.
Sɛ ɔkɔm dee me a, anka merenka nkyerɛ mo; efisɛ, wiase ne nea ɛwɔ mu nyinaa yɛ me de.
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Mewe anantwinini nam, na menom mpapo mogya ana?
14 Sacrifice a thank offering to God, and fulfill your vows to the Most High.
Momfa aseda afɔre mma Onyankopɔn, na munni bɔ a mohyɛɛ Ɔsorosoroni no so,
15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.”
na momfrɛ me hiada; na megye mo na moahyɛ me anuonyam.”
16 To the wicked, however, God says, “What right have you to recite My statutes and to bear My covenant on your lips?
Nanso amumɔyɛfo de, Onyankopɔn bisa wɔn se, “Adɛn nti na moka me mmara na mʼapam da mo ano?
17 For you hate My instruction and cast My words behind you.
Mukyi me nkyerɛkyerɛ, na motow me nsɛm gu mo akyi.
18 When you see a thief, you befriend him, and throw in your lot with adulterers.
Sɛ muhu ɔkorɔmfo a mode mo ho bɔ no; na mo ne nguaman nso bɔ.
19 You unleash your mouth for evil and unharness your tongue for deceit.
Mode mo ano yɛ bɔne, na mode mo tɛkrɛma boaboa nnaadaa ano.
20 You sit and malign your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.
Mokasa tia mo nuabarima bere biara na mosopa mo ankasa na ba.
21 You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you to your face.
Moayɛ eyinom nyinaa; nanso manka hwee, enti mususuw sɛ mete sɛ mo. Nanso mɛka mo anim, na mede mo sobo asi mo anim.
22 Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:
“Munnwen eyi ho, mo a mo werɛ fi Onyankopɔn, anyɛ saa a, mɛtetew mo mu nketenkete a obiara remmegye mo;
23 He who sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and to him who rights his way, I will show the salvation of God.”
Nea ɔbɔ aseda afɔre no hyɛ me anuonyam, na osiesie kwan sɛnea mɛda Onyankopɔn nkwagye adi akyerɛ no.”
