< Psalms 50 >
1 A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from where the sun rises to where it sets.
Zabbuli ya Asafu. Oyo Owaamaanyi, Mukama Katonda, akoowoola ensi okuva enjuba gy’eva okutuuka gy’egwa.
2 From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
Katonda ayakaayakana ng’ava mu Sayuuni n’obulungi bw’ekitiibwa kye ekituukiridde.
3 Our God approaches and will not be silent! Consuming fire precedes Him, and a tempest rages around Him.
Katonda waffe ajja, naye tajja kasirise, omuliro ogusaanyaawo buli kintu gwe gumukulembera, n’omuyaga ogw’amaanyi ne gumwetooloola.
4 He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that He may judge His people:
Akoowoola abali mu ggulu ne ku nsi, azze okusalira abantu be omusango.
5 “Gather to Me My saints, who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”
Agamba nti, “Munkuŋŋaanyize abantu bange abaayawulibwa, abaakola nange endagaano nga bawaayo ssaddaaka.”
6 And the heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge.
Eggulu litegeeza obutuukirivu bwa Katonda kubanga Katonda yennyini ye mulamuzi.
7 “Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God.
“Muwulirize, mmwe abantu bange, nange nnaayogera. Ggwe Isirayiri bino bye nkuvunaana: Nze Katonda, Katonda wo.
8 I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices, and your burnt offerings are ever before Me.
Sikunenya lwa ssaddaaka zo, oba ebiweebwayo ebyokebwa by’ossa mu maaso gange bulijjo.
9 I have no need for a bull from your stall or goats from your pens,
Sikyakkiriza nte nnume n’emu evudde mu kiralo kyo, wadde embuzi ennume ezivudde mu bisibo byo.
10 for every beast of the forest is Mine— the cattle on a thousand hills.
Kubanga buli nsolo ey’omu kibira yange, awamu n’ente eziri ku nsozi olukumi.
11 I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are Mine.
Ennyonyi zonna ez’oku nsozi nzimanyi, n’ebiramu byonna eby’omu nsiko byange.
12 If I were hungry, I would not tell you, for the world is Mine, and the fullness thereof.
Singa nnumwa enjala sandikubuulidde: kubanga ensi n’ebigirimu byonna byange.
13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Ndya ennyama y’ente ennume, wadde okunywa omusaayi gw’embuzi?
14 Sacrifice a thank offering to God, and fulfill your vows to the Most High.
“Owangayo ssaddaaka ey’okwebaza eri Katonda; era otuukirizanga obweyamo bwo eri oyo Ali Waggulu Ennyo.
15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.”
Bw’obanga mu buzibu, nnaakuwonyanga, naawe onongulumizanga.”
16 To the wicked, however, God says, “What right have you to recite My statutes and to bear My covenant on your lips?
Naye omubi Katonda amugamba nti, “Lekeraawo okwatulanga amateeka gange, n’endagaano yange togyogerangako.
17 For you hate My instruction and cast My words behind you.
Kubanga okyawa okuluŋŋamizibwa, n’ebigambo byange tobissaako mwoyo.
18 When you see a thief, you befriend him, and throw in your lot with adulterers.
Bw’olaba omubbi, ng’omukwana; era weetaba n’abenzi.
19 You unleash your mouth for evil and unharness your tongue for deceit.
Okolima era olimba; olulimi lwo lwogera ebitali bya butuukirivu.
20 You sit and malign your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.
Muganda wo omwogerako bibi byereere buli kiseera, era owayiriza omwana wa nnyoko yennyini.
21 You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you to your face.
Ebyo byonna obikoze, ne nsirika, n’olowooza nti twenkanankana. Naye kaakano ka nkunenye, ebisobyo byonna mbikulage.
22 Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:
“Ggwe eyeerabira Katonda, ebyo bisseeko omwoyo, nneme kukuyuzaayuza nga tewali na wa kukuwonya.
23 He who sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and to him who rights his way, I will show the salvation of God.”
Oyo awaayo ssaddaaka ey’okwebaza angulumiza, era ateekateeka ekkubo ndyoke mulage obulokozi bwa Katonda.”
