< Psalms 50 >
1 A Psalm of Asaph. The Mighty One, God the LORD, speaks and summons the earth from where the sun rises to where it sets.

2 From Zion, perfect in beauty, God shines forth.
Chineke na-enwupụta dịka ìhè, site na Zayọn, nke zuruoke nʼime ịma mma.
3 Our God approaches and will not be silent! Consuming fire precedes Him, and a tempest rages around Him.
Chineke anyị na-abịa, ọ gaghị emechikwa ọnụ; ọkụ na-erepịa erepịa dị nʼihu ya, oke ifufe na-efesi ike gbakwara ya gburugburu.
4 He summons the heavens above, and the earth, that He may judge His people:
Ọ na-akpọku eluigwe na ụwa ka o kpee ndị ya ikpe: Ọ na-asị,
5 “Gather to Me My saints, who made a covenant with Me by sacrifice.”
“Chikọtaranụ m ndị m e doro nsọ, bụ ndị mụ na ha ji ịchụ aja gbaa ndụ.”
6 And the heavens proclaim His righteousness, for God Himself is Judge.
Eluigwe na-ekwupụta ezi omume ya, nʼihi na Chineke nʼonwe ya bụ onye ikpe. (Sela)
7 “Hear, O My people, and I will speak, O Israel, and I will testify against you: I am God, your God.
“Nụrụnụ, ndị m, m ga-ekwukwa, Izrel, aga m agba ama megide unu, Abụ m Chineke, Chineke unu.
8 I do not rebuke you for your sacrifices, and your burnt offerings are ever before Me.
Anaghị m abara unu mba nʼihi ịchụ aja unu, na aja nsure ọkụ unu nke na-adị m nʼihu oge niile.
9 I have no need for a bull from your stall or goats from your pens,
Enweghị m mkpa maka oke ehi unu site nʼụlọ anụmanụ unu maọbụ mkpi site nʼọgba igwe ewu na atụrụ unu,
10 for every beast of the forest is Mine— the cattle on a thousand hills.

11 I know every bird in the mountains, and the creatures of the field are Mine.

13 Do I eat the flesh of bulls, or drink the blood of goats?
Ana m ata anụ oke ehi, ka ọ bụ ọbara mkpi ka m ga-aṅụ?
14 Sacrifice a thank offering to God, and fulfill your vows to the Most High.
“Chụọrọ Chineke aja ekele, mezuo nkwa i kwere Onye kachasị ihe niile elu,
15 Call upon Me in the day of trouble; I will deliver you, and you will honor Me.”
ma kpọkuo m nʼụbọchị nsogbu gị, aga m agbapụta unu, unu ga-enyekwa m nsọpụrụ.”
16 To the wicked, however, God says, “What right have you to recite My statutes and to bear My covenant on your lips?
Ma Chineke na-agwa ndị na-eme ihe ọjọọ okwu sị, “Olee, nkwuwa okwu unu nwere ịgụgharị iwu m, maọbụ kwupụta ọgbụgba ndụ m nʼọnụ unu?
17 For you hate My instruction and cast My words behind you.
Unu kpọrọ ndụmọdụ m asị, na-atụfekwa okwu m nʼazụ unu.
18 When you see a thief, you befriend him, and throw in your lot with adulterers.
Mgbe unu hụrụ onye ohi, unu na ya na-ejikọta aka; unu na ndị na-akwa iko na-ekekọkwa oke.
19 You unleash your mouth for evil and unharness your tongue for deceit.
Ọnụ unu na-eme ọsịịsọ ikwu okwu ọjọọ, okwu aghụghọ na nke rere ure na-esikwa nʼọnụ unu na-asọpụta dịka iyi.
20 You sit and malign your brother; you slander your own mother’s son.
Unu na-ekwugide ụmụnna unu mgbe niile, na-ekwutọkwa nwanne unu nwoke.
21 You have done these things, and I kept silent; you thought I was just like you. But now I rebuke you and accuse you to your face.
Ihe ndị a ka unu mere ma agbachiri m nkịtị; unu chekwara na adị m ka unu. Ma aga m abara unu mba ma bokwaa unu ebubo unu nʼihu unu.
22 Now consider this, you who forget God, lest I tear you to pieces, with no one to rescue you:
“Tụgharịa uche na nke a, unu ndị na-echefu Chineke, ma ọ bụghị ya, aga m adọrisi unu, ọ dịkwaghị onye ga-agbapụta unu.
23 He who sacrifices a thank offering honors Me, and to him who rights his way, I will show the salvation of God.”
Onye na-eji ekele achụrụ m aja, na-asọpụrụ m, ọ bụkwa onye na-edozi ụzọ ya, ka m ga-eme ka ọ hụ nzọpụta Chineke.”
