< Psalms 49 >

1 For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Hear this, all you peoples; listen, all inhabitants of the world,
Dadyowga oo dhammow, bal tan maqla, Dunida kuwiinna degganow, kulligiin dhegta u dhiga,
2 both low and high, rich and poor alike.
Kuwiinna hoose iyo kuwiinna sare, Taajirrada iyo masaakiintoy, dhammaantiin wada maqla.
3 My mouth will impart wisdom, and the meditation of my heart will bring understanding.
Afkaygu wuxuu ku hadli doonaa xigmad, Qalbigayguna wuxuu ka fikiri doonaa waxgarasho.
4 I will incline my ear to a proverb; I will express my riddle with the harp:
Dhegtayda waxaan u dhigi doonaa masaal, Xujadaydana waxaan ku muujin doonaa kataaradda.
5 Why should I fear in times of trouble, when wicked usurpers surround me?
Haddaba bal maxaan u cabsanayaa wakhtiga shar jiro, Markii xumaanu cedhbahayga ku wareegsanto?
6 They trust in their wealth and boast in their great riches.
Kuwa maalkooda isku halleeya, Oo ku faana hodantinimadooda faraha badan,
7 No man can possibly redeem his brother or pay his ransom to God.
Midkoodna walaalkiis ma furan karo, Daraaddiisna Ilaah madaxfurasho uma siin karo,
8 For the redemption of his soul is costly, and never can payment suffice,
(Waayo, furashada naftoodu waa qaali aad iyo aad, Kumana filna weligeedba, )
9 that he should live on forever and not see decay.
Inuu isagu weligiis sii noolaado, Oo aanu halligaad arkin weligiis.
10 For it is clear that wise men die, and the foolish and the senseless both perish and leave their wealth to others.
Waayo, isagu wuxuu arkaa inay dadka xigmadda lahu wada dhintaan, Iyo in nacasyada iyo doqonnaduba ay wada baabba'aan, Oo ay maalkooda kuwa kale uga tagaan.
11 Their graves are their eternal homes— their dwellings for endless generations— even though their lands were their namesakes.
Waxay ismoodsiiyaan inay guryahoodu weligoodba sii jirayaan, Iyo in meelaha rugtooda ahu ay sii raagayaan tan iyo qarniyada oo dhan, Oo dhulalkoodana way isku magacaabaan.
12 But a man, despite his wealth, cannot endure; he is like the beasts that perish.
Laakiinse binu-aadmigu sharaf kuma waaro, Wuxuu la mid yahay sida xayawaanka iska baabba'a.
13 This is the fate of the self-confident and their followers who endorse their sayings.
Jidkoodanu waa kalsoonidooda nacasnimada ah, Laakiinse dadka iyaga ka dambeeya ayaa hadalkoodii u boga. (Selaah)
14 Like sheep they are destined for Sheol. Death will be their shepherd. The upright will rule them in the morning, and their form will decay in Sheol, far from their lofty abode. (Sheol h7585)
Iyagu waxaa weeye adhi She'ool loo wado, Oo waxaa sida adhijir u ahaan doona dhimasho, Oo kuwa qumman ayaa iyaga subaxda u talin doona, Oo quruxdoodana waxaa baabbi'in doona She'ool, inaanay iyagu rug yeelan innaba. (Sheol h7585)
15 But God will redeem my life from Sheol, for He will surely take me to Himself. (Sheol h7585)
Laakiinse Ilaah naftayda wuu ka soo furan doonaa xoogga She'ool, Waayo, wuu i aqbali doonaa. (Selaah) (Sheol h7585)
16 Do not be amazed when a man grows rich, when the splendor of his house increases.
Ha baqin markii mid taajiroobo, Oo ammaanta reerkiisu aad u korodho,
17 For when he dies, he will carry nothing away; his abundance will not follow him down.
Waayo, isagu markuu dhinto waxba sii qaadan maayo, Oo ammaantiisuna ka daba geli mayso.
18 Though in his lifetime he blesses his soul— and men praise you when you prosper—
In kastoo uu naftiisa u duceeyey markuu noolaa, Oo dad adiga ku ammaana, kolkaad wax wanaagsan isu samaysid,
19 he will join the generation of his fathers, who will never see the light of day.
Isagu wuxuu u tegi doonaa qarniyadii awowayaashiis, Oo iyana weligood iftiinka ma ay arki doonaan.
20 A man who has riches without understanding is like the beasts that perish.
Ninkii sharaf leh oo aan garaad lahaynu Wuxuu la mid yahay sida xayawaanka iska baabba'a.
