Psalms 47

1 For the choirmaster. A Psalm of the sons of Korah. Clap your hands, all you peoples; shout unto God with a voice of triumph.

௧கோராகின் குடும்பத்தின் இராகத் தலைவனுக்கு அளிக்கப்பட்ட ஒரு பாடல். எல்லா மக்களே, கைகொட்டி, தேவனுக்கு முன்பாகக் கெம்பீரசத்தமாக ஆர்ப்பரியுங்கள்.

2 How awesome is the LORD Most High, the great King over all the earth!

௨உன்னதமான தேவனாகிய யெகோவா பயங்கரமானவரும், பூமியின் மீதெங்கும் மகத்துவமான ராஜாவுமாக இருக்கிறார்.

3 He subdues nations beneath us, and peoples under our feet.

௩மக்களை நமக்கு கீழ்படுத்தி, தேசங்களை நம்முடைய பாதங்களுக்குக் கீழ்ப்படுத்துவார்.

4 He chooses our inheritance for us, the pride of Jacob, whom He loves.

௪தமக்குப் பிரியமான யாக்கோபின் சிறப்பான தேசத்தை நமக்குச் உரிமைச்சொத்தாக தெரிந்தளிப்பார். (சேலா)

5 God has ascended amid shouts of joy, the LORD with the sound of the horn.

௫தேவன் ஆர்ப்பரிப்போடும், யெகோவா எக்காள சத்தத்தோடும் உயர எழுந்தருளினார்.

6 Sing praises to God, sing praises; sing praises to our King, sing praises!

௬தேவனைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள், பாடுங்கள்; நம்முடைய ராஜாவைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள், பாடுங்கள்.

7 For God is King of all the earth; sing profound praises to Him.

௭தேவன் பூமியனைத்திற்கும் ராஜா; கருத்துடனே அவரைப் போற்றிப் பாடுங்கள்.

8 God reigns over the nations; God is seated on His holy throne.

௮தேவன் தேசங்களின்மேல் அரசாளுகிறார்; தேவன் தமது பரிசுத்த சிங்காசனத்தின்மேல் அமர்ந்திருக்கிறார்.

9 The nobles of the nations have assembled as the people of the God of Abraham; for the shields of the earth belong to God; He is highly exalted.

௯மக்களின் பிரபுக்கள் ஆபிரகாமின் தேவனுடைய மக்களாகச் சேர்க்கப்படுகிறார்கள்; பூமியின் கேடகங்கள் தேவனுடையவைகள்; அவர் மகா உன்னதமான தேவன்.
