< Psalms 46 >

1 For the choirmaster. Of the sons of Korah. According to Alamoth. A song. God is our refuge and strength, an ever-present help in times of trouble.
Ya Mukulu wa Bayimbi: Zabbuli ya Batabani ba Koola. Katonda kye kiddukiro kyaffe, era ge maanyi gaffe; omubeezi ddala atabulawo mu kulaba ennaku.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth is transformed and the mountains are toppled into the depths of the seas,
Kyetunaavanga tulema okutya, ensi ne bw’eneeyuuguumanga, ensozi ne bwe zinaasiguulukukanga ne zigwa mu buziba bw’ennyanja;
3 though their waters roar and foam and the mountains quake in the surge.
amazzi g’ennyanja ne bwe ganaayiranga ne gabimba ejjovu ensozi ne zikankana olw’okwetabula kwago.
4 There is a river whose streams delight the city of God, the holy place where the Most High dwells.
Waliwo omugga, emyala gyagwo gisanyusa ekibuga kya Katonda, kye kifo ekitukuvu ekya Katonda Ali Waggulu Ennyo.
5 God is within her; she will not be moved. God will help her when morning dawns.
Tekirigwa kubanga Katonda mw’abeera. Katonda anaakirwaniriranga ng’obudde bunaatera okukya.
6 Nations rage, kingdoms crumble; the earth melts when He lifts His voice.
Amawanga geetabula, obwakabaka bugwa; ayimusa eddoboozi lye ensi n’esaanuuka.
7 The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Mukama ow’Eggye ali naffe, Katonda wa Yakobo kye kigo kyaffe.
8 Come, see the works of the LORD, who brings devastation upon the earth.
Mujje, mulabe Mukama by’akola, mulabe nga bw’afaafaaganya ensi.
9 He makes wars to cease throughout the earth; He breaks the bow and shatters the spear; He burns the shields in the fire.
Y’akomya entalo mu nsi yonna; akutula emitego gy’obusaale, effumu alimenyaamenya; amagaali n’engabo abyokya omuliro.
10 “Be still and know that I am God; I will be exalted among the nations, I will be exalted over the earth.”
Musiriikirire mutegeere nga nze Katonda. Nnaagulumizibwanga mu mawanga. Nnaagulumizibwanga mu nsi.
11 The LORD of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Katonda ow’Eggye ali naffe; Katonda wa Yakobo kye kigo kyaffe.
