< Psalms 41 >
1 For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Blessed is the one who cares for the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble.
Dawid dwom. Nhyira ne onipa a mmɔborɔni asɛm ho hia no. Awurade gye no wɔ amanehunu berɛ mu.
2 The LORD will protect and preserve him; He will bless him in the land and refuse to surrender him to the will of his foes.
Awurade bɛbɔ ne ho ban na wakora ne kra. Ɔbɛhyira no wɔ asase no so; ɔrennyaa no mma nʼatamfoɔ apɛdeɛ.
3 The LORD will sustain him on his bed of illness and restore him from his bed of sickness.
Awurade bɛhwɛ no wɔ ne yadeɛ mpa so na wagye no asi hɔ.
4 I said, “O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against You.”
Mekaa sɛ, “Ao Awurade hunu me mmɔbɔ; sa me yadeɛ, ɛfiri sɛ mayɛ bɔne atia wo.”
5 My enemies say with malice: “When will he die and be forgotten?”
Mʼatamfoɔ de adwene bɔne ka wɔ me ho sɛ: “Da bɛn na ɔbɛwu ama ne din ayera?”
6 My visitor speaks falsehood; he gathers slander in his heart; he goes out and spreads it abroad.
Ɛberɛ biara a obi ba me nkyɛn no, ɔka atorɔsɛm, na nʼakoma hɔre dinsɛeɛ; ɔfiri adi kɔ a, ɔde kɔdi nsekuro.
7 All who hate me whisper against me; they imagine the worst for me:
Mʼatamfoɔ nyinaa keka asomusɛm fa me ho; wɔsusu bɔne ma me na wɔka sɛ:
8 “A vile disease has been poured into him; he will never get up from where he lies!”
“Yare bɔne bi abɔ no; ɔrensɔre mfiri deɛ ɔda hɔ bio.”
9 Even my close friend whom I trusted, the one who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
Mpo me yɔnko pa ara a mede me ho too ne soɔ, deɛ me ne no too nsa didiiɛ no, asɔre atia me.
10 But You, O LORD, be gracious to me and raise me up, that I may repay them.
Nanso wo, Awurade, hunu me mmɔbɔ; pagya me, na mentua wɔn so ka.
11 By this I know that You delight in me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.
Menim sɛ wʼani sɔ me, na me ɔtamfoɔ renni me so nkonim.
12 In my integrity You uphold me and set me in Your presence forever.
Me nokorɛdie mu, wokura me mu na wode me gyina wʼanim afebɔɔ.
13 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.
Nhyira nka Awurade, Israel Onyankopɔn, ɛnnɛ ne daa nyinaa. Amen ne Amen! Wɔde ma dwomkyerɛfoɔ.
