< Psalms 41 >
1 For the choirmaster. A Psalm of David. Blessed is the one who cares for the poor; the LORD will deliver him in the day of trouble.
Haha ty mañaoñe o rarakeo; ie ho votsore’ Iehovà an-tsan-kankàñe.
2 The LORD will protect and preserve him; He will bless him in the land and refuse to surrender him to the will of his foes.
Harova’Iehovà le ho tana’e veloñe naho hatao’e haha amy taney eo, naho tsy apo’e an-tsatrin-tron-drafelahy
3 The LORD will sustain him on his bed of illness and restore him from his bed of sickness.
Ho tohaña’ Iehovà amy tihy tindria’ey; hafote’o ho jangan-dre am-pandream-pisilofa’e eo.
4 I said, “O LORD, be gracious to me; heal me, for I have sinned against You.”
Aa naho izaho, hoe ty asako: ry Iehovà, Atariho, jangaño ty fiaiko, fa nandilarako.
5 My enemies say with malice: “When will he die and be forgotten?”
Manambaitambaiñ’ ahy o rafelahikoo: ombia t’ie hikoromake, hihomaha’ i añara’ey?
6 My visitor speaks falsehood; he gathers slander in his heart; he goes out and spreads it abroad.
Ie mitilik’ ahy, manao rehan-dremborake; mangoroñe hakeo ama’e ty tro’e; ie miavotse, volañe’e.
7 All who hate me whisper against me; they imagine the worst for me:
Ivesovesoa’ o malaiñe ahy iabio, mikilily joy, ami’ty hoe:
8 “A vile disease has been poured into him; he will never get up from where he lies!”
Mipitek’ ama’e ty bilokan-kokolampa; kanao mitsilañe re, tsy hitroatse ka.
9 Even my close friend whom I trusted, the one who shared my bread, has lifted up his heel against me.
Eka, ndra i rañeko nianteherakoy, i nikama i hanekoiy, fa nañonjo tomitse amako.
10 But You, O LORD, be gracious to me and raise me up, that I may repay them.
F’Ihe ry Iehovà, iferenaiño, vaho atroaro hamaleako iareo.
11 By this I know that You delight in me, for my enemy does not triumph over me.
Zao ty aharendrehako te no’o, t’ie tsy irohafa’ o rafelahikoo.
12 In my integrity You uphold me and set me in Your presence forever.
Naho izaho, tozañe’o ami’ty havañonako, naho ampañatrefe’o laharañe amako nainai’e.
13 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Amen and Amen.
Andriañeñe t’Iehovà Andrianañahare’Israele, haehae vaho nainai’e donia. Amena naho Amena.
