< Psalms 39 >

1 For the choirmaster. For Jeduthun. A Psalm of David. I said, “I will watch my ways so that I will not sin with my tongue; I will guard my mouth with a muzzle as long as the wicked are present.”
Inkeddengko, “Annadak ti ibagak tapno saanak nga agbasol babaen iti dilak. Busalak ti ngiwatko kabayatan nga addaak iti imatang ti dakes a tao.”
2 I was speechless and still; I remained silent, even from speaking good, and my sorrow was stirred.
Nagtalinaedak a naulimek; linapdak dagiti sasaok uray pay iti panangibagak kadagiti aniaman a nasayaat a banbanag, ket kimmarkaro ti sakitko.
3 My heart grew hot within me; as I mused, the fire burned. Then I spoke with my tongue:
Bimmara ti pusok; idi napanunotko dagitoy a banbanag, simged daytoy a kasla apuy. Ket kamaudiananna, nagsaoak.
4 “Show me, O LORD, my end and the measure of my days. Let me know how fleeting my life is.
O Yahweh, ipakaammom kaniak no kaano ti pagpatinggaan ti biagko ken pagleppasan dagiti aldawko. Ipakitam kaniak no kasano kaababa ti panagtalinaedko.
5 You, indeed, have made my days as handbreadths, and my lifetime as nothing before You. Truly each man at his best exists as but a breath.
Kitaem, inaramidmo a kasla laeng kaakaba dagiti imak dagiti aldawko, ket kasla awan aniaman iti sangoanam ti kapaut ti panagbiagko. Pudno, tunggal tao ket maymaysa laeng nga anges. (Selah)
6 Surely every man goes about like a phantom; surely he bustles in vain; he heaps up riches not knowing who will haul them away.
Pudno a tunggal tao magmagna a kasla anniniwan. Awan duadua a tunggal maysa agdardaras nga agurnong iti kinabaknang uray no dida ammo no siasino ti mangawat kadakuada.
7 And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in You.
Ita, O Apo, ta ania ti ur-urayek? Sika ti kakaisuna a namnamak.
8 Deliver me from all my transgressions; do not make me the reproach of fools.
Pagballigiennak kadagiti amin a basbasolko: saannak nga aramiden a paga-angawan dagiti maag.
9 I have become mute; I do not open my mouth because of what You have done.
Naulimekak ken saanmo a lukatan ti ngiwatko gapu iti inaramidmo.
10 Remove Your scourge from me; I am perishing by the force of Your hand.
Isardengmo ti mangsugsugat kaniak; nalapunosak iti danog dagiti imam.
11 You discipline and correct a man for his iniquity, consuming like a moth what he holds dear; surely each man is but a vapor.
No disiplinaam dagiti tattao para iti basol, in-inut nga ibusem dagiti pigsada a kasla iti bu-ot. Pudno nga amin dagiti tattao ket alingasaw laeng. (Selah)
12 Hear my prayer, O LORD, and give ear to my cry for help; do not be deaf to my weeping. For I am a foreigner dwelling with You, a stranger like all my fathers.
Ipangagmo ti kararagko, O Yahweh, ken denggennak; denggem ti sangsangitko! Saanka nga agbalin a tuleng kaniak, ta kaslaak gan-gannaet kenka, a kasla maysa a tao a naglibas a kas kadagiti amin a kapuonak.
13 Turn Your gaze away from me, that I may again be cheered before I depart and am no more.”
Ibaw-ingmo ti natadem a panagkitam kaniak tapno makaisemak manen sakbay a matayak.
