Psalms 32
1 Of David. A Maskil. Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.
Bemaventurado aquelle cuja transgressão é perdoada, e cujo peccado é coberto.
2 Blessed is the man whose iniquity the LORD does not count against him, in whose spirit there is no deceit.
Bemaventurado o homem a quem o Senhor não imputa maldade, e em cujo espirito não ha engano.
3 When I kept silent, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long.
Quando eu guardei silencio, envelheceram os meus ossos pelo meu bramido em todo o dia.
4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was drained as in the summer heat.
Porque de dia e de noite a tua mão pesava sobre mim; o meu humor se tornou em sequidão de estio (Selah)
5 Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin.
Confessei-te o meu peccado, e a minha maldade não encobri; dizia eu: Confessarei ao Senhor as minhas transgressões; e tu perdoaste a maldade do meu peccado (Selah)
6 Therefore let all the godly pray to You while You may be found. Surely when great waters rise, they will not come near.
Portanto todo aquelle que é sancto orará a ti, em tempo que te possa achar: até no trasbordar de muitas aguas, estas não lhe chegarão.
7 You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance.
Tu és o logar em que me escondo, tu me preservas da angustia: tu me cinges d'alegres cantos de livramento (Selah)
8 I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you.
Instruir-te-hei, e ensinar-te-hei o caminho que deves seguir; guiar-te-hei com os meus olhos.
9 Do not be like the horse or mule, which have no understanding; they must be controlled with bit and bridle to make them come to you.
Não sejaes como o cavallo, nem como a mula, que não tem entendimento, cuja bocca precisa de cabresto e freio, para que se não cheguem a ti
10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but loving devotion surrounds him who trusts in the LORD.
O impio tem muitas dôres, mas áquelle que confia no Senhor a misericordia o cercará.
11 Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, O righteous ones; shout for joy, all you upright in heart.
Alegrae-vos no Senhor, e regozijae-vos, vós os justos; e cantae alegremente, todos vós que sois rectos de coração.
