Psalms 32

1 Of David. A Maskil. Blessed is he whose transgressions are forgiven, whose sins are covered.

罪惡蒙赦免，過犯得遮掩的人，有福的。

2 Blessed is the man whose iniquity the LORD does not count against him, in whose spirit there is no deceit.

上主不歸咎，心中無詐欺的人是有福的。

3 When I kept silent, my bones became brittle from my groaning all day long.

就在我緘默不語的時期內，我的骸因常傷歎而疲衰；

4 For day and night Your hand was heavy upon me; my strength was drained as in the summer heat.

因為你的手晝夜在重壓著我，我的力量像在盛暑中而消耗。（休止）

5 Then I acknowledged my sin to You and did not hide my iniquity. I said, “I will confess my transgressions to the LORD,” and You forgave the guilt of my sin.

我終於向你承認我的罪過，絲毫也沒有隱瞞我的邪惡，我說：「我要向上主承認我的罪孽，」你立刻便寬赦了我的罪債。（休止）

6 Therefore let all the godly pray to You while You may be found. Surely when great waters rise, they will not come near.

為此虔敬的人在困厄時，都應向你哀禱，縱使大水氾濫成災，他也不會遭受波濤。

7 You are my hiding place. You protect me from trouble; You surround me with songs of deliverance.

你是我的避難所，救我脫離災禍，你以拯救我的喜樂，常環繞著我。（休止）

8 I will instruct you and teach you the way you should go; I will give you counsel and watch over you.

我教導你，指示你應走的正道，雙眼注視你，親自作你的嚮導。

9 Do not be like the horse or mule, which have no understanding; they must be controlled with bit and bridle to make them come to you.

不要像騾馬一般糊塗，需要韁轡來加以管束；不然，不向你眼前趨赴。

10 Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but loving devotion surrounds him who trusts in the LORD.

邪惡的人必要受許多的痛苦；仰望上主的人，必有慈愛圍護，

11 Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, O righteous ones; shout for joy, all you upright in heart.

正義的人們！你們應在上主內歡欣喜樂。 心正的人們！你們應在上主內歡呼踴躍。
