< Psalms 3 >

1 A Psalm of David, when he fled from his son Absalom. O LORD, how my foes have increased! How many rise up against me!

2 Many say of me, “God will not deliver him.”

3 But You, O LORD, are a shield around me, my glory, and the One who lifts my head.
Tedae, BOEIPA nang tah kai taengah photling, ka thangpomnah neh ka lu aka pomsang la na om.
4 To the LORD I cry aloud, and He answers me from His holy mountain.
BOEIPA te ka ol neh ka khue vaengah, a tlang cim lamloh kai n'doo. (Selah)
5 I lie down and sleep; I wake again, for the LORD sustains me.
Kai he BOEIPA loh n'duel dongah, ka yalh tih ka ip dae koep ka haenghang,
6 I will not fear the myriads set against me on every side.
Ka pilnam a thawng a sang aka pai khoep te ka rhih mahpawh.
7 Arise, O LORD! Save me, O my God! Strike all my enemies on the jaw; break the teeth of the wicked.
Aw ka BOEIPA Pathen thoo laeh! namah loh ka thunkha te boeih na ngawn tih, halang rhoek kah kamken no khaw na thuk dongah kai he n'khang laeh.
8 Salvation belongs to the LORD; may Your blessing be on Your people.
Khangnah he BOEIPA taengkah ni. Nang kah yoethennah loh na pilnam soah om saeh. (Selah)
