Psalms 28
1 Of David. To You, O LORD, I call; be not deaf to me, O my Rock. For if You remain silent, I will be like those descending to the Pit.
A ti clamo, oh Señor, mi Roca; no me niegues tu respuesta, para que no llegue a ser como aquellos que descienden al inframundo.
2 Hear my cry for mercy when I call to You for help, when I lift up my hands toward Your holy sanctuary.
Escucha la voz de mi oración, cuando te clamo, cuando mis manos se eleven a tu lugar santo.
3 Do not drag me away with the wicked, and with the workers of iniquity, who speak peace to their neighbors while malice is in their hearts.
No me lleven lejos con los pecadores y los trabajadores del mal, que dicen palabras de paz a sus vecinos, pero el mal está en sus corazones.
4 Repay them according to their deeds and for their works of evil. Repay them for what their hands have done; bring back on them what they deserve.
Dales la recompensa conforme a la perversidad de los sus actos y de sus maldades: dales castigo conforme a las obras de sus manos.
5 Since they show no regard for the works of the LORD or what His hands have done, He will tear them down and never rebuild them.
Porque no tienen respeto por las obras del Señor, ni por las cosas que sus manos han hecho, serán destruidos y no los vuelva a levantar.
6 Blessed be the LORD, for He has heard my cry for mercy.
Que el Señor sea alabado, porque ha escuchado la voz de mi oración.
7 The LORD is my strength and my shield; my heart trusts in Him, and I am helped. Therefore my heart rejoices, and I give thanks to Him with my song.
El Señor es mi fortaleza y mi coraza, mi corazón tenía fe en él y él me ayudó; por esta causa, mi corazón está lleno de gozo, y lo alabaré en mi canción.
8 The LORD is the strength of His people, a stronghold of salvation for His anointed.
El Señor es la fortaleza de su pueblo, y un fuerte lugar de salvación para su ungido.
9 Save Your people and bless Your inheritance; shepherd them and carry them forever.
Sé un salvador para tu pueblo, y envía una bendición sobre tu herencia: sé su guía, y sustentalos para siempre.
