Psalms 23

1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.

Il Signore è il mio pastore: non manco di nulla; Salmo. Di Davide.

2 He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside quiet waters.

su pascoli erbosi mi fa riposare ad acque tranquille mi conduce.

3 He restores my soul; He guides me in the paths of righteousness for the sake of His name.

Mi rinfranca, mi guida per il giusto cammino, per amore del suo nome.

4 Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.

Se dovessi camminare in una valle oscura, non temerei alcun male, perché tu sei con me. Il tuo bastone e il tuo vincastro mi danno sicurezza.

5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows.

Davanti a me tu prepari una mensa sotto gli occhi dei miei nemici; cospargi di olio il mio capo. Il mio calice trabocca.

6 Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the LORD forever.

Felicità e grazia mi saranno compagne tutti i giorni della mia vita, e abiterò nella casa del Signore per lunghissimi anni.
