Psalms 16
1 A Miktam of David. Preserve me, O God, for in You I take refuge.
Guárdame, oh ʼElohim, porque en Ti me refugio.
2 I said to the LORD, “You are my Lord; apart from You I have no good thing.”
Dije a Yavé: Tú eres mi ʼAdonay. No tengo bien fuera de Ti.
3 As for the saints in the land, they are the excellence in whom all my delight resides.
Para los santos y los íntegros que están en la tierra Es toda mi complacencia.
4 Sorrows will multiply to those who chase other gods. I will not pour out their libations of blood, or speak their names with my lips.
Multiplicarán sus dolores los que sirven a otro ʼelohim. No derramaré sus libaciones de sangre, Ni estarán sus nombres en mis labios.
5 The LORD is my chosen portion and my cup; You have made my lot secure.
Yavé es la porción de mi herencia y de mi copa. Tú sustentas firmemente mi parcela.
6 The lines of my boundary have fallen in pleasant places; surely my inheritance is delightful.
Las cuerdas me cayeron en lugares deleitosos Y es hermosa la heredad que me corresponde.
7 I will bless the LORD who counsels me; even at night my conscience instructs me.
Bendeciré a Yavé que me aconseja, Aun en las noches me corrige las partes más íntimas de mi personalidad.
8 I have set the LORD always before me. Because He is at my right hand, I will not be shaken.
A Yavé coloqué continuamente delante de mí. Porque está a mi derecha, no seré movido.
9 Therefore my heart is glad and my tongue rejoices; my body also will dwell securely.
Por lo cual se alegra mi corazón, Y se regocija mi gloria. Mi cuerpo reposará también confiadamente,
10 For You will not abandon my soul to Sheol, nor will You let Your Holy One see decay. (Sheol h7585)
Porque no abandonarás mi alma en el Seol, Ni permitirás que tu Santo experimente corrupción. (Sheol h7585)
11 You have made known to me the path of life; You will fill me with joy in Your presence, with eternal pleasures at Your right hand.
Me mostrarás la senda de la vida. En tu Presencia hay plenitud de gozo, Delicias a tu mano derecha para siempre.
