< Psalms 136 >

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good.
Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa nítorí tí ó ṣeun;
2 Give thanks to the God of gods.
Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Ọlọ́run àwọn ọlọ́run:
3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords.
Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Olúwa àwọn olúwa,
4 He alone does great wonders.
Fún Òun nìkan tí ń ṣiṣẹ́ ìyanu ńlá;
5 By His insight He made the heavens.
Fún ẹni tí ó fi ọgbọ́n dá ọ̀run;
6 He spread out the earth upon the waters.
Fún ẹni tí ó tẹ́ ilẹ̀ lórí omi;
7 He made the great lights—
Fún ẹni tí ó dá àwọn ìmọ́lẹ̀ ńlá;
8 the sun to rule the day,
Òòrùn láti jẹ ọba ọ̀sán;
9 the moon and stars to govern the night.
Òṣùpá àti ìràwọ̀ láti jẹ ọba òru;
10 He struck down the firstborn of Egypt
Fún ẹni tí ó kọlu Ejibiti lára àwọn àkọ́bí wọn;
11 and brought Israel out from among them
Ó sì mú Israẹli jáde kúrò láàrín wọn;
12 with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.
Pẹ̀lú ọwọ́ agbára àti apá nínà;
13 He divided the Red Sea in two
Fún ẹni tí ó pín Òkun pupa ní ìyà;
14 and led Israel through the midst,
Ó sì mú Israẹli kọjá láàrín rẹ̀
15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea.
Ṣùgbọ́n ó bi Farao àti ogun rẹ̀ ṣubú nínú Òkun pupa;
16 He led His people through the wilderness.
Fún ẹni tí ó sin àwọn ènìyàn rẹ̀ la aginjù já
17 He struck down great kings
Fún ẹni tí ó kọlu àwọn ọba ńlá;
18 and slaughtered mighty kings—
Ó sì pa àwọn ọba olókìkí
19 Sihon king of the Amorites
Sihoni, ọba àwọn ará Amori
20 and Og king of Bashan—
Àti Ogu, ọba Baṣani;
21 and He gave their land as an inheritance,
Ó sì fi ilẹ̀ wọn fún ni ní ìní,
22 a heritage to His servant Israel.
Ìní fún Israẹli, ìránṣẹ́ rẹ̀,
23 He remembered us in our low estate
Ẹni tí ó rántí wa ní ìwà ìrẹ̀lẹ̀ wa;
24 and freed us from our enemies.
Ó sì dá wa ní ìdè lọ́wọ́ àwọn ọ̀tá wa;
25 He gives food to every creature.
Ẹni tí ó fi oúnjẹ fún àwọn ẹ̀dá gbogbo
26 Give thanks to the God of heaven!
Ẹ fi ọpẹ́ fún Ọlọ́run ọ̀run;
