Psalms 136

1 Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good.

ستایشی یەزدان بکەن، لەبەر ئەوەی چاکە،

2 Give thanks to the God of gods.

ستایشی خودای خودایان بکەن،

3 Give thanks to the Lord of lords.

ستایشی گەورەی گەورەیان بکەن،

4 He alone does great wonders.

بۆ ئەوەی بە تەنها ئەوە کاری سەرسوڕهێنەری مەزن دەکات،

5 By His insight He made the heavens.

ئەوەی بە تێگەیشتنەوە ئاسمانی دروستکردووە،

6 He spread out the earth upon the waters.

ئەوەی زەوی لەسەر ئاوەکان ڕاخستووە،

7 He made the great lights—

ئەوەی ڕووناکییە مەزنەکانی دروستکردووە،

8 the sun to rule the day,

خۆر بۆ حوکمگێڕی ڕۆژ،

9 the moon and stars to govern the night.

مانگ و ئەستێرەکان بۆ حوکمگێڕی شەو،

10 He struck down the firstborn of Egypt

بۆ ئەوەی لە میسر و نۆبەرەکانی دا

11 and brought Israel out from among them

ئیسرائیلی لە ناوەڕاستیان دەرهێنا،

12 with a mighty hand and an outstretched arm.

بە دەستێکی پۆڵایین و بازووێکی بەهێز،

13 He divided the Red Sea in two

بۆ ئەوەی دەریای سووری کرد بە دوو بەشەوە،

14 and led Israel through the midst,

ئیسرائیلی بە نێوانیاندا پەڕاندەوە،

15 but swept Pharaoh and his army into the Red Sea.

فیرعەون و لەشکرەکەی فڕێدایە ناو دەریای سوور،

16 He led His people through the wilderness.

بۆ ئەوەی لە بیابان ڕابەرایەتی گەلی خۆی کرد،

17 He struck down great kings

ئەوەی پاشا مەزنەکانی لەناوبرد،

18 and slaughtered mighty kings—

ئەوەی پاشا ناودارەکانی کوشت،

19 Sihon king of the Amorites

سیحۆنی پاشای ئەمۆرییەکان،

20 and Og king of Bashan—

عۆگی پاشای باشان،

21 and He gave their land as an inheritance,

خاکەکەیانی کرد بە میرات،

22 a heritage to His servant Israel.

بە میرات بۆ ئیسرائیلی بەندەی خۆی،

23 He remembered us in our low estate

بۆ ئەوەی کاتێک زەلیل بووین ئێمەی بەبیر هاتەوە،

24 and freed us from our enemies.

ئەوەی لەناو دوژمنمان دەریهێناین،

25 He gives food to every creature.

ئەوەی نان دەداتە هەموو بەدیهێنراوێک.

26 Give thanks to the God of heaven!
