Psalms 131

1 A song of ascents. Of David. My heart is not proud, O LORD, my eyes are not haughty. I do not aspire to great things or matters too lofty for me.

Kanto de suprenirado. De David. Ho Eternulo, ne tenas sin alte mia koro, kaj ne leviĝas alte miaj okuloj; Kaj mi ne okupas min per aferoj grandaj kaj neatingeblaj por mi.

2 Surely I have stilled and quieted my soul; like a weaned child with his mother, like a weaned child is my soul within me.

Mi trankviligis kaj kvietigis mian animon; Kiel infano formetita for de la mamo de sia patrino, kiel infano demamigita, Tiel estas en mi mia animo.

3 O Israel, put your hope in the LORD, both now and forevermore.

Ho Izrael, fidu la Eternulon, De nun kaj eterne.
