Psalms 128

1 A song of ascents. Blessed are all who fear the LORD, who walk in His ways!

ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുകയും അവിടത്തോടുള്ള അനുസരണത്തിൽ ജീവിക്കുകയുംചെയ്യുന്നവർ അനുഗൃഹീതർ.

2 For when you eat the fruit of your labor, blessings and prosperity will be yours.

നിങ്ങളുടെ അധ്വാനഫലം നിങ്ങൾ ഭക്ഷിക്കും; അനുഗ്രഹവും സമൃദ്ധിയും നിങ്ങൾക്ക് അവകാശമായിരിക്കും.

3 Your wife will be like a fruitful vine flourishing within your house, your sons like olive shoots sitting around your table.

നിന്റെ ഭാര്യ നിന്റെ ഭവനത്തിൽ ഫലദായകമായ മുന്തിരിവള്ളിപോലെ ആയിരിക്കും; നിന്റെ മക്കൾ നിങ്ങളുടെ മേശയ്ക്കുചുറ്റും ഒലിവുതൈകൾപോലെയായിരിക്കും.

4 In this way indeed shall blessing come to the man who fears the LORD.

യഹോവയെ ഭയപ്പെടുന്ന മനുഷ്യർ ഇപ്രകാരം അനുഗൃഹീതരാകും.

5 May the LORD bless you from Zion, that you may see the prosperity of Jerusalem all the days of your life,

യഹോവ സീയോനിൽനിന്നു നിന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിക്കും; നിന്റെ ജീവിതകാലത്തുടനീളം നിനക്കു ജെറുശലേമിന്റെ അഭിവൃദ്ധി കാണാനിടവരട്ടെ.

6 that you may see your children’s children. Peace be upon Israel!

മക്കളുടെ മക്കളെ കാണാനായി നിന്റെ ആയുസ്സ് ദീർഘമായിരിക്കട്ടെ— ഇസ്രായേലിന്മേൽ സമാധാനം ഉണ്ടാകുമാറാകട്ടെ.
