Psalms 126

1 A song of ascents. When the LORD restored the captives of Zion, we were like dreamers.

ആരോഹണഗീതം. യഹോവ സീയോന്റെ ബന്ധിതരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തിയപ്പോൾ, ഞങ്ങൾ സ്വപ്നം കാണുന്നവരെപ്പോലെ ആയിരുന്നു.

2 Then our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with shouts of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The LORD has done great things for them.”

ഞങ്ങളുടെ വായിൽ ചിരിയും ഞങ്ങളുടെ നാവിൽ ആനന്ദഗീതങ്ങളും നിറഞ്ഞു. അപ്പോൾ രാഷ്ട്രങ്ങൾക്കിടയിൽ ഇപ്രകാരം പ്രകീർത്തിക്കപ്പെട്ടു: “യഹോവ അവർക്കുവേണ്ടി വൻകാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു.”

3 The LORD has done great things for us; we are filled with joy.

യഹോവ ഞങ്ങൾക്കുവേണ്ടി വൻകാര്യങ്ങൾ ചെയ്തിരിക്കുന്നു, ഞങ്ങൾ ആനന്ദാതിരേകത്താൽ തുള്ളിച്ചാടുന്നു.

4 Restore our captives, O LORD, like streams in the Negev.

യഹോവേ, തെക്കേദേശത്തിലെ തോടുകളെ എന്നപോലെ, ഞങ്ങളുടെ ബന്ധിതരെ മടക്കിവരുത്തണമേ.

5 Those who sow in tears will reap with shouts of joy.

കണ്ണുനീരോടെ വിതയ്ക്കുന്നവർ ആനന്ദഘോഷത്തോടെ കൊയ്തെടുക്കും.

6 He who goes out weeping, bearing a trail of seed, will surely return with shouts of joy, carrying sheaves of grain.

വിതയ്ക്കാനുള്ള വിത്തു ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ട്, കണ്ണുനീരോടെ നടക്കുന്നവർ, കറ്റകൾ ചുമന്നുകൊണ്ട് ആനന്ദഗീതം പാടി മടങ്ങുന്നു.
