Psalms 125

1 A song of ascents. Those who trust in the LORD are like Mount Zion. It cannot be moved; it abides forever.

Um Canto de Ascensões. Those que confiam em Yahweh são como o Monte Zion, que não pode ser movida, mas permanece para sempre.

2 As the mountains surround Jerusalem, so the LORD surrounds His people, both now and forevermore.

Enquanto as montanhas cercam Jerusalém, Assim, Yahweh rodeia seu povo deste tempo em diante e para sempre mais.

3 For the scepter of the wicked will not rest upon the land allotted to the righteous, so that the righteous will not put forth their hands to injustice.

Pois o cetro da maldade não permanecerá sobre a distribuição dos justos, para que os justos não usem suas mãos para fazer o mal.

4 Do good, O LORD, to those who are good, and to the upright in heart.

Do bom, Yahweh, para aqueles que são bons, para aqueles que estão eretos em seus corações.

5 But those who turn to crooked ways the LORD will banish with the evildoers. Peace be upon Israel.

Mas quanto àqueles que se voltam para seus caminhos tortuosos, Yahweh os levará para longe com os trabalhadores da iniquidade. Que a paz esteja em Israel.
