< Psalms 115 >

1 Not to us, O LORD, not to us, but to Your name be the glory, because of Your loving devotion, because of Your faithfulness.
No a nosotros, oh SEÑOR, no a nosotros, sino a tu Nombre da gloria; por tu misericordia, por tu verdad.
2 Why should the nations say, “Where is their God?”
Por qué dirán los gentiles: ¿Dónde está ahora su Dios?
3 Our God is in heaven; He does as He pleases.
Y nuestro Dios está en los cielos, todo lo que quiso ha hecho.
4 Their idols are silver and gold, made by the hands of men.
Los ídolos de ellos son plata y oro, obra de manos de hombres.
5 They have mouths, but cannot speak; they have eyes, but cannot see;
Tienen boca, mas no hablarán; tienen ojos, mas no verán;
6 they have ears, but cannot hear; they have noses, but cannot smell;
orejas tienen, mas no oirán; tienen narices, mas no olerán;
7 they have hands, but cannot feel; they have feet, but cannot walk; they cannot even clear their throats.
manos tienen, mas no palparán; tienen pies, mas no andarán; no hablarán con su garganta.
8 Those who make them become like them, as do all who trust in them.
Como ellos sean los que los hacen; cualquiera que en ellos confía.
9 O Israel, trust in the LORD! He is their help and shield.
Oh Israel, confía en el SEÑOR; él es su ayuda y su escudo.
10 O house of Aaron, trust in the LORD! He is their help and shield.
Casa de Aarón, confiad en el SEÑOR; él es su ayuda y su escudo.
11 You who fear the LORD, trust in the LORD! He is their help and shield.
Los que teméis al SEÑOR, confiad en el SEÑOR; él es su ayuda y su escudo.
12 The LORD is mindful of us; He will bless us. He will bless the house of Israel; He will bless the house of Aaron;
El SEÑOR se acordó de nosotros; bendecirá sobremanera a la casa de Israel; bendecirá a la casa de Aarón.
13 He will bless those who fear the LORD— small and great alike.
Bendecirá a los que temen al SEÑOR; a chicos y a grandes.
14 May the LORD give you increase, both you and your children.
Acrecentará el SEÑOR bendición sobre vosotros; sobre vosotros y sobre vuestros hijos.
15 May you be blessed by the LORD, the Maker of heaven and earth.
Benditos vosotros del SEÑOR, que hizo los cielos y la tierra.
16 The highest heavens belong to the LORD, but the earth He has given to mankind.
Los cielos son los cielos del SEÑOR; y ha dado la tierra a los hijos de los hombres.
17 It is not the dead who praise the LORD, nor any who descend into silence.
No alabarán los muertos a JAH, ni todos los que descienden al silencio;
18 But it is we who will bless the LORD, both now and forevermore. Hallelujah!
mas nosotros bendeciremos a JAH, desde ahora y para siempre. Alelu-JAH.
