Psalms 111

1 Hallelujah! I will give thanks to the LORD with all my heart in the council of the upright and in the assembly.

Lăudați pe DOMNUL. Voi lăuda pe DOMNUL cu întreaga mea inimă în sfatul celor integri și în adunare.

2 Great are the works of the LORD; they are pondered by all who delight in them.

Lucrările DOMNULUI sunt mari, căutate de toți cei ce au plăcere în ele.

3 Splendid and majestic is His work; His righteousness endures forever.

Lucrarea lui este demnă de cinste și glorioasă; și dreptatea lui dăinuiește pentru totdeauna.

4 He has caused His wonders to be remembered; the LORD is gracious and compassionate.

El a făcut ca lucrările lui minunate să fie amintite; DOMNUL este cu har și plin de compasiune.

5 He provides food for those who fear Him; He remembers His covenant forever.

El a dat mâncare celor ce se tem de el; întotdeauna își va aminti legământul său.

6 He has shown His people the power of His works by giving them the inheritance of the nations.

El a arătat poporului său puterea lucrărilor sale, ca să le dea moștenirea păgânilor.

7 The works of His hands are truth and justice; all His precepts are trustworthy.

Lucrările mâinilor sale sunt adevăr și judecată; toate poruncile sale sunt sigure.

8 They are upheld forever and ever, enacted in truth and uprightness.

Ele stau tari pentru totdeauna și întotdeauna și sunt făcute în adevăr și integritate.

9 He has sent redemption to His people; He has ordained His covenant forever; holy and awesome is His name.

A trimis răscumpărare poporului său, el a poruncit legământul său pentru totdeauna, sfânt și înfricoșător este numele său.

10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom; all who follow His precepts gain rich understanding. His praise endures forever!

Teama de DOMNUL este începutul înțelepciunii, o bună înțelegere au toți cei ce împlinesc poruncile lui, lauda lui dăinuiește pentru totdeauna.
