< Psalms 106 >
1 Hallelujah! Give thanks to the LORD, for He is good; His loving devotion endures forever.
Monkamfo Awurade! Monna Awurade ase na oye; na nʼadɔe wɔ hɔ daa.
2 Who can describe the mighty acts of the LORD or fully proclaim His praise?
Hena na obetumi aka nneɛma akɛse a Awurade ayɛ? Anaasɛ obetumi aka ne nkamfo awie?
3 Blessed are those who uphold justice, who practice righteousness at all times.
Nhyira nka wɔn a wɔkɔ so bu atɛntrenee, na daa wɔyɛ nea eye.
4 Remember me, O LORD, in Your favor to Your people; visit me with Your salvation,
Awurade, sɛ wuhu wo nkurɔfo mmɔbɔ a kae me, sɛ wugye wɔn nkwa a, boa me,
5 that I may see the prosperity of Your chosen ones, and rejoice in the gladness of Your nation, and give glory with Your inheritance.
na manya wɔn a wapaw wɔn no yiyedi mu kyɛfa, na manya wo manfo anigye no mu kyɛfa, na me ne wʼagyapade no abɔ mu de nkamfo ama wo.
6 We have sinned like our fathers; we have done wrong and acted wickedly.
Yɛayɛ bɔne sɛnea yɛn nenanom yɛe no; yɛayɛ mfomso na yɛadi atirimɔdensɛm.
7 Our fathers in Egypt did not grasp Your wonders or remember Your abundant kindness; but they rebelled by the sea, there at the Red Sea.
Bere a yɛn nenanom wɔ Misraim no, wɔannwene wo nsɛnkyerɛnne ho; wɔankae wʼadɔe bebrebe no, na wɔtew atua wɔ Po Kɔkɔɔ no ho.
8 Yet He saved them for the sake of His name, to make His power known.
Nanso ne din nti ogyee wɔn nkwa, sɛnea ɔbɛda ne tumi kɛse no adi.
9 He rebuked the Red Sea, and it dried up; He led them through the depths as through a desert.
Ɔteɛɛ Po Kɔkɔɔ no ma ɛyowee; ɔde wɔn faa bun mu te sɛ sare so.
10 He saved them from the hand that hated them; He redeemed them from the hand of the enemy.
Ogyee wɔn fii ɔtamfo no nsam; nea ɔtan wɔn no nsam na oyii wɔn fii.
11 The waters covered their foes; not one of them remained.
Nsu kataa wɔn atamfo so; na ɔbaako mpo annya nkwa.
12 Then they believed His promises and sang His praise.
Afei wogyee ne bɔhyɛ no dii na wɔtoo nʼayeyi nnwom.
13 Yet they soon forgot His works and failed to wait for His counsel.
Nanso ntɛm so, wɔn werɛ fii nea wayɛ na wɔantwɛn nʼagyinatu.
14 They craved intensely in the wilderness and tested God in the desert.
Akɔnnɔ bɛhyɛɛ wɔn mu wɔ sare so hɔ, asase paradada no so na wɔsɔɔ Onyankopɔn hwɛe,
15 So He granted their request, but sent a wasting disease upon them.
enti ɔmaa wɔn nea wobisae, nanso ɔde ɔfɔn yare baa wɔn so.
16 In the camp they envied Moses, as well as Aaron, the holy one of the LORD.
Na nsraban mu hɔ wɔn ani beree Mose ne Aaron a Awurade atew ne ho no.
17 The earth opened up and swallowed Dathan; it covered the assembly of Abiram.
Asase mu bue ma ɛmenee Datan na esiee Abiram asafo no.
18 Then fire blazed through their company; flames consumed the wicked.
Ogya tɔɔ wɔn akyidifo no mu; ogyatannaa hyew amumɔyɛfo no.
19 At Horeb they made a calf and worshiped a molten image.
Wɔyɛɛ nantwi ba wɔ Horeb na wɔkotow ohoni a wɔde fagude ayɛ.
20 They exchanged their Glory for the image of a grass-eating ox.
Wɔsesaa wɔn Anuonyam wɔde nantwinini, a ɔwe sare nsɛsode.
21 They forgot God their Savior, who did great things in Egypt,
Wɔn werɛ fii Onyankopɔn a ogyee wɔn nkwa, nea ɔyɛɛ nneɛma akɛse wɔ Misraim no,
22 wondrous works in the land of Ham, and awesome deeds by the Red Sea.
nsɛnkyerɛnne a ɔyɛɛ wɔ Ham asase so ne nneɛma a ɛyɛ hu wɔ Po Kɔkɔɔ ho no.
23 So He said He would destroy them— had not Moses His chosen one stood before Him in the breach to divert His wrath from destroying them.
Enti ɔkae se ɔbɛsɛe wɔn, nanso Mose a ɔyɛ nea wapaw no no, sɔre gyinaa Onyankopɔn ne nnipa no ntam; ɔsrɛ de dwudwoo nʼabufuwhyew no ano sɛnea ɔrensɛe wɔn.
24 They despised the pleasant land; they did not believe His promise.
Afei wɔn ani ansɔ asase fɛfɛ no; na wɔannye ne bɔhyɛ no anni.
25 They grumbled in their tents and did not listen to the voice of the LORD.
Wonwiinwii wɔ wɔn ntamadan mu na wɔanyɛ osetie amma Awurade.
26 So He raised His hand and swore to cast them down in the wilderness,
Enti ɔmaa ne nsa so kaa ntam kyerɛɛ wɔn se ɔbɛma wɔatotɔ wɔ sare no so,
27 to disperse their offspring among the nations and scatter them throughout the lands.
ɔbɛma wɔn asefo atotɔ wɔ amanaman mu na wabɔ wɔn ahwete nsase nyinaa so.
28 They yoked themselves to Baal of Peor and ate sacrifices offered to lifeless gods.
Wɔde wɔn ho bɔɔ Baal-Peor ho na wodii afɔrebɔde a wɔde ama anyame a wonni nkwa;
29 So they provoked the LORD to anger with their deeds, and a plague broke out among them.
wɔde wɔn atirimɔdensɛm hyɛɛ Awurade abufuw na ɔyaredɔm sii wɔn mu.
30 But Phinehas stood and intervened, and the plague was restrained.
Na Pinehas sɔre dii akagyinamu, na wosiw ɔyaredɔm no ano.
31 It was credited to him as righteousness for endless generations to come.
Wɔde eyi yɛɛ trenee maa no wɔ awo ntoatoaso a enni awiei a ɛbɛba no mu.
32 At the waters of Meribah they angered the LORD, and trouble came to Moses because of them.
Meriba nsu ho nso, wɔhyɛɛ Awurade abufuw, na wɔn nti, ɔhaw baa Mose so,
33 For they rebelled against His Spirit, and Moses spoke rashly with his lips.
efisɛ wɔtew Onyankopɔn Honhom anim atua, na asɛm a wannwene ho fii Mose anom.
34 They did not destroy the peoples as the LORD had commanded them,
Wɔansɛe nnipa no sɛnea Awurade hyɛɛ wɔn no,
35 but they mingled with the nations and adopted their customs.
nanso wɔde wɔn ho frafraa amanaman no yɛɛ nneɛma a wɔyɛ no bi.
36 They worshiped their idols, which became a snare to them.
Wɔsom wɔn ahoni, na ɛbɛyɛɛ afide maa wɔn.
37 They sacrificed their sons and their daughters to demons.
Wɔde wɔn mmabarima ne wɔn mmabea bɔɔ afɔre maa abosom.
38 They shed innocent blood— the blood of their sons and daughters, whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan, and the land was polluted with blood.
Wɔkaa mogya a edi bem gui, wɔn mmabarima ne wɔn mmabea mogya a wɔde bɔɔ afɔre maa Kanaan ahoni no maa asase no ho guu fi.
39 They defiled themselves by their actions and prostituted themselves by their deeds.
Wɔde nea wɔyɛɛ no guu wɔn ankasa ho fi; wɔnam nea wɔyɛɛ no so bɔɔ aguaman.
40 So the anger of the LORD burned against His people, and He abhorred His own inheritance.
Enti Awurade bo fuw ne nkurɔfo; na okyii nʼagyapade.
41 He delivered them into the hand of the nations, and those who hated them ruled over them.
Ɔdan wɔn maa amanaman no, na wɔn atamfo dii wɔn so.
42 Their enemies oppressed them, and subdued them under their hand.
Wɔn atamfo hyɛɛ wɔn so na wɔkaa wɔn hyɛɛ wɔn tumi ase.
43 Many times He rescued them, but they were bent on rebellion and sank down in their iniquity.
Mpɛn bebree, Awurade gyee wɔn, nanso wɔkɔɔ so tew atua na wɔsɛe wɔ wɔn bɔne mu.
44 Nevertheless He heard their cry; He took note of their distress.
Nanso ohuu wɔn ahohiahia bere a wosu frɛɛ no no.
45 And He remembered His covenant with them, and relented by the abundance of His loving devotion.
Wɔn nti ɔkaee nʼapam no, na ofii nʼadɔe kɛse no mu huu wɔn mmɔbɔ.
46 He made them objects of compassion to all who held them captive.
Ɔmaa asodifo a wɔafa wɔn nnommum no nyaa ahummɔbɔ maa wɔn.
47 Save us, O LORD our God, and gather us from the nations, that we may give thanks to Your holy name, that we may glory in Your praise.
Gye yɛn, Awurade yɛn nkwagye Nyankopɔn, na boaboa yɛn ano fi amanaman so, na yɛada wo din kronkron no ase, na yɛde nkamfo ahyɛ wo anuonyam.
48 Blessed be the LORD, the God of Israel, from everlasting to everlasting. Let all the people say, “Amen!” Hallelujah!
Ayeyi nka Awurade, Israel Nyankopɔn, emfi mmeresanten nkosi nnasanten. Momma nnipa no nyinaa nka se, “Amen!” Monkamfo Awurade.
