Psalms 104
1 Bless the LORD, O my soul! O LORD my God, You are very great; You are clothed with splendor and majesty.
| بَارِكِي يَا نَفْسِي ٱلرَّبَّ. يَارَبُّ إِلَهِي، قَدْ عَظُمْتَ جِدًّا. مَجْدًا وَجَلَالًا لَبِسْتَ. | ١ |
2 He wraps Himself in light as with a garment; He stretches out the heavens like a tent,
| ٱللَّابِسُ ٱلنُّورَ كَثَوْبٍ، ٱلْبَاسِطُ ٱلسَّمَاوَاتِ كَشُقَّةٍ. | ٢ |
3 laying the beams of His chambers in the waters above, making the clouds His chariot, walking on the wings of the wind.
| ٱلْمُسَقِّفُ عَلَالِيَهُ بِٱلْمِيَاهِ. ٱلْجَاعِلُ ٱلسَّحَابَ مَرْكَبَتَهُ، ٱلْمَاشِي عَلَى أَجْنِحَةِ ٱلرِّيحِ. | ٣ |
4 He makes the winds His messengers, flames of fire His servants.
| ٱلصَّانِعُ مَلَائِكَتَهُ رِيَاحًا، وَخُدَّامَهُ نَارًا مُلْتَهِبَةً. | ٤ |
5 He set the earth on its foundations, never to be moved.
| ٱلْمُؤَسِّسُ ٱلْأَرْضَ عَلَى قَوَاعِدِهَا فَلَا تَتَزَعْزَعُ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ وَٱلْأَبَدِ. | ٥ |
6 You covered it with the deep like a garment; the waters stood above the mountains.
| كَسَوْتَهَا ٱلْغَمْرَ كَثَوْبٍ. فَوْقَ ٱلْجِبَالِ تَقِفُ ٱلْمِيَاهُ. | ٦ |
7 At Your rebuke the waters fled; at the sound of Your thunder they hurried away—
| مِنِ ٱنْتِهَارِكَ تَهْرُبُ، مِنْ صَوْتِ رَعْدِكَ تَفِرُّ. | ٧ |
8 the mountains rose and the valleys sank to the place You assigned for them—
| تَصْعَدُ إِلَى ٱلْجِبَالِ. تَنْزِلُ إِلَى ٱلْبِقَاعِ، إِلَى ٱلْمَوْضِعِ ٱلَّذِي أَسَّسْتَهُ لَهَا. | ٨ |
9 You set a boundary they cannot cross, that they may never again cover the earth.
| وَضَعْتَ لَهَا تَخْمًا لَا تَتَعَدَّاهُ. لَا تَرْجِعُ لِتُغَطِّيَ ٱلْأَرْضَ. | ٩ |
10 He sends forth springs in the valleys; they flow between the mountains.
| اَلْمُفَجِّرُ عُيُونًا فِي ٱلْأَوْدِيَةِ. بَيْنَ ٱلْجِبَالِ تَجْرِي. | ١٠ |
11 They give drink to every beast of the field; the wild donkeys quench their thirst.
| تَسْقِي كُلَّ حَيَوَانِ ٱلْبَرِّ. تَكْسِرُ ٱلْفِرَاءُ ظَمْأَهَا. | ١١ |
12 The birds of the air nest beside the springs; they sing among the branches.
| فَوْقَهَا طُيُورُ ٱلسَّمَاءِ تَسْكُنُ. مِنْ بَيْنِ ٱلْأَغْصَانِ تُسَمِّعُ صَوْتًا. | ١٢ |
13 He waters the mountains from His chambers; the earth is satisfied by the fruit of His works.
| ٱلسَّاقِي ٱلْجِبَالَ مِنْ عَلَالِيهِ. مِنْ ثَمَرِ أَعْمَالِكَ تَشْبَعُ ٱلْأَرْضُ. | ١٣ |
14 He makes the grass grow for the livestock and provides crops for man to cultivate, bringing forth food from the earth:
| ٱلْمُنْبِتُ عُشْبًا لِلْبَهَائِمِ، وَخُضْرَةً لِخِدْمَةِ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ، لِإِخْرَاجِ خُبْزٍ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ، | ١٤ |
15 wine that gladdens the heart of man, oil that makes his face to shine, and bread that sustains his heart.
| وَخَمْرٍ تُفَرِّحُ قَلْبَ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ، لِإِلْمَاعِ وَجْهِهِ أَكْثَرَ مِنَ ٱلزَّيْتِ، وَخُبْزٍ يُسْنِدُ قَلْبَ ٱلْإِنْسَانِ. | ١٥ |
16 The trees of the LORD have their fill, the cedars of Lebanon that He planted,
| تَشْبَعُ أَشْجَارُ ٱلرَّبِّ، أَرْزُ لُبْنَانَ ٱلَّذِي نَصَبَهُ. | ١٦ |
17 where the birds build their nests; the stork makes her home in the cypresses.
| حَيْثُ تُعَشِّشُ هُنَاكَ ٱلْعَصَافِيرُ. أَمَّا ٱللَّقْلَقُ فَٱلسَّرْوُ بَيْتُهُ. | ١٧ |
18 The high mountains are for the wild goats, the cliffs a refuge for the rock badgers.
| ٱلْجِبَالُ ٱلْعَالِيَةُ لِلْوُعُولِ، ٱلصُّخُورُ مَلْجَأٌ لِلْوِبَارِ. | ١٨ |
19 He made the moon to mark the seasons; the sun knows when to set.
| صَنَعَ ٱلْقَمَرَ لِلْمَوَاقِيتِ. ٱلشَّمْسُ تَعْرِفُ مَغْرِبَهَا. | ١٩ |
20 You bring darkness, and it becomes night, when all the beasts of the forest prowl.
| تَجْعَلُ ظُلْمَةً فَيَصِيرُ لَيْلٌ. فِيهِ يَدِبُّ كُلُّ حَيَوَانِ ٱلْوَعْرِ. | ٢٠ |
21 The young lions roar for their prey and seek their food from God.
| ٱلْأَشْبَالُ تُزَمْجِرُ لِتَخْطَفَ، وَلِتَلْتَمِسَ مِنَ ٱللهِ طَعَامَهَا. | ٢١ |
22 The sun rises, and they withdraw; they lie down in their dens.
| تُشْرِقُ ٱلشَّمْسُ فَتَجْتَمِعُ، وَفِي مَآوِيهَا تَرْبِضُ. | ٢٢ |
23 Man goes forth to his work and to his labor until evening.
| ٱلْإِنْسَانُ يَخْرُجُ إِلَى عَمَلِهِ، وَإِلَى شُغْلِهِ إِلَى ٱلْمَسَاءِ. | ٢٣ |
24 How many are Your works, O LORD! In wisdom You have made them all; the earth is full of Your creatures.
| مَا أَعْظَمَ أَعْمَالَكَ يَارَبُّ! كُلَّهَا بِحِكْمَةٍ صَنَعْتَ. مَلْآنةٌ ٱلْأَرْضُ مِنْ غِنَاكَ. | ٢٤ |
25 Here is the sea, vast and wide, teeming with creatures beyond number, living things both great and small.
| هَذَا ٱلْبَحْرُ ٱلْكَبِيرُ ٱلْوَاسِعُ ٱلْأَطْرَافِ. هُنَاكَ دَبَّابَاتٌ بِلَا عَدَدٍ. صِغَارُ حَيَوَانٍ مَعَ كِبَارٍ. | ٢٥ |
26 There the ships pass, and Leviathan, which You formed to frolic there.
| هُنَاكَ تَجْرِي ٱلسُّفُنُ. لِوِيَاثَانُ هَذَا خَلَقْتَهُ لِيَلْعَبَ فِيهِ. | ٢٦ |
27 All creatures look to You to give them their food in due season.
| كُلُّهَا إِيَّاكَ تَتَرَجَّى لِتَرْزُقَهَا قُوتَهَا فِي حِينِهِ. | ٢٧ |
28 When You give it to them, they gather it up; when You open Your hand, they are satisfied with good things.
| تُعْطِيهَا فَتَلْتَقِطُ. تَفْتَحُ يَدَكَ فَتَشْبَعُ خَيْرًا. | ٢٨ |
29 When You hide Your face, they are terrified; when You take away their breath, they die and return to dust.
| تَحْجُبُ وَجْهَكَ فَتَرْتَاعُ. تَنْزِعُ أَرْوَاحَهَا فَتَمُوتُ، وَإِلَى تُرَابِهَا تَعُودُ. | ٢٩ |
30 When You send Your Spirit, they are created, and You renew the face of the earth.
| تُرْسِلُ رُوحَكَ فَتُخْلَقُ، وَتُجَدِّدُ وَجْهَ ٱلْأَرْضِ. | ٣٠ |
31 May the glory of the LORD endure forever; may the LORD rejoice in His works.
| يَكُونُ مَجْدُ ٱلرَّبِّ إِلَى ٱلدَّهْرِ. يَفْرَحُ ٱلرَّبُّ بِأَعْمَالِهِ. | ٣١ |
32 He looks on the earth, and it trembles; He touches the mountains, and they smolder.
| ٱلنَّاظِرُ إِلَى ٱلْأَرْضِ فَتَرْتَعِدُ. يَمَسُّ ٱلْجِبَالَ فَتُدَخِّنُ. | ٣٢ |
33 I will sing to the LORD all my life; I will sing praise to my God while I have my being.
| أُغَنِّي لِلرَّبِّ فِي حَيَاتِي. أُرَنِّمُ لِإِلَهِي مَا دُمْتُ مَوْجُودًا. | ٣٣ |
34 May my meditation be pleasing to Him, for I rejoice in the LORD.
| فَيَلَذُّ لَهُ نَشِيدِي، وَأَنَا أَفْرَحُ بِٱلرَّبِّ. | ٣٤ |
35 May sinners vanish from the earth and the wicked be no more. Bless the LORD, O my soul. Hallelujah!
| لِتُبَدِ ٱلْخُطَاةُ مِنَ ٱلْأَرْضِ وَٱلْأَشْرَارُ لَا يَكُونُوا بَعْدُ. بَارِكِي يَا نَفْسِي ٱلرَّبَّ. هَلِّلُويَا. | ٣٥ |
