1 A Psalm of thanksgiving. Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth.

En Salme. Til Takofferet. Raab af Fryd for HERREN, al Jorden,

2 Serve the LORD with gladness; come into His presence with joyful songs.

tjener HERREN med Glæde, kom for hans Aasyn med Jubel!

3 Know that the LORD is God. It is He who made us, and we are His; we are His people, and the sheep of His pasture.

Kend, at HERREN er Gud! Han skabte os, vi er hans, hans Folk og den Hjord, han vogter.

4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and bless His name.

Gaa ind i hans Porte med Takkesang, med Lovsange ind i hans Forgaarde, tak ham og lov hans Navn!

5 For the LORD is good, and His loving devotion endures forever; His faithfulness continues to all generations.

Thi god er HERREN, hans Miskundhed varer evindelig, fra Slægt til Slægt hans Trofasthed!
