Proverbs 8
1 Does not wisdom call out, and understanding raise her voice?
೧ಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂಬಾಕೆಯು ಕರೆಯುತ್ತಾಳಲ್ಲವೇ? ವಿವೇಕವೆಂಬ ಆಕೆಯು ಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯುತ್ತಾಳಲ್ಲವೇ?
2 On the heights overlooking the road, at the crossroads she takes her stand.
೨ಆಕೆಯು ರಾಜಮಾರ್ಗಗಳ ಮುಖ್ಯಸ್ಥಾನದಲ್ಲಿ, ದಾರಿಯ ಪಕ್ಕದಲ್ಲಿ, ನಡುಬೀದಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ನಿಂತುಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾಳೆ.
3 Beside the gates to the city, at the entrances she cries out:
೩ಆಕೆ ಪಟ್ಟಣದ ಪ್ರವೇಶ ದ್ವಾರದಲ್ಲಿ, ಬಾಗಿಲುಗಳೊಳಗೆ ಜನಸೇರುವ ಸ್ಥಳದಲ್ಲಿ ಹೀಗೆ ಕೂಗುತ್ತಾಳೆ,
4 “To you, O men, I call out, and my cry is to the sons of men.
೪“ಜನರೇ, ನಿಮ್ಮನ್ನೇ ಕರೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಮಾನವರಿಗಾಗಿಯೇ ಧ್ವನಿಗೈಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
5 O simple ones, learn to be shrewd; O fools, gain understanding.
೫ಮೂಢರೇ, ಜಾಣತನವನ್ನು ಕಲಿತುಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ, ಜ್ಞಾನಹೀನರೇ, ಬುದ್ಧಿಯನ್ನು ಗ್ರಹಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
6 Listen, for I speak of noble things, and the opening of my lips will reveal right.
೬ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ನಾನು ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠವಾದ ಸಂಗತಿಗಳನ್ನು ಹೇಳುವೆನು, ಯಥಾರ್ಥಕ್ಕಾಗಿಯೇ ತುಟಿಗಳನ್ನು ತೆರೆಯುವೆನು,
7 For my mouth will speak the truth, and wickedness is detestable to my lips.
೭ನನ್ನ ಬಾಯಿ ಸತ್ಯವನ್ನೇ ಆಡುವುದು, ದುಷ್ಟತನವು ನನ್ನ ತುಟಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಸಹ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
8 All the words of my mouth are righteous; none are crooked or perverse.
೮ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳೆಲ್ಲಾ ನೀತಿಭರಿತವಾಗಿವೆ, ಅವುಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಕಪಟವೂ, ವಕ್ರತೆಯೂ ಇಲ್ಲ.
9 They are all plain to the discerning, and upright to those who find knowledge.
೯ಅವೆಲ್ಲಾ ಗ್ರಹಿಕೆಯುಳ್ಳವನಿಗೆ ನ್ಯಾಯವಾಗಿಯೂ, ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಪಡೆದವರಿಗೆ ಯಥಾರ್ಥವಾಗಿಯೂ ತೋರುವವು.
10 Receive my instruction instead of silver, and knowledge rather than pure gold.
೧೦ನನ್ನ ಬೋಧನೆಯನ್ನು ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಮತ್ತು ಜ್ಞಾನೋಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಅಪರಂಜಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಉತ್ತಮವೆಂದು ಹೊಂದಿಕೊಳ್ಳಿರಿ.
11 For wisdom is more precious than rubies, and nothing you desire compares with her.
೧೧ಜ್ಞಾನವು ಹವಳಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠ, ಇಷ್ಟವಸ್ತುಗಳೆಲ್ಲವೂ ಅದಕ್ಕೆ ಸಮವಲ್ಲ.
12 I, wisdom, dwell together with prudence, and I find knowledge and discretion.
೧೨ಜ್ಞಾನವೆಂಬ ನನಗೆ ಜಾಣ್ಮೆಯೇ ನಿವಾಸ, ಯುಕ್ತಿಗಳ ತಿಳಿವಳಿಕೆಯನ್ನು ಹೊಂದಿದ್ದೇನೆ.
13 To fear the LORD is to hate evil; I hate arrogant pride, evil conduct, and perverse speech.
೧೩ಯೆಹೋವನ ಭಯವು ಪಾಪದ್ವೇಷವನ್ನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿಸುತ್ತದೆ; ಗರ್ವ, ಅಹಂಭಾವ, ದುರ್ಮಾರ್ಗತನ, ಕುಟಿಲ ಭಾಷಣ ಇವುಗಳನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುತ್ತೇನೆ.
14 Counsel and sound judgment are mine; I have insight and strength.
೧೪ಸದ್ಯೋಚನೆಯೂ, ಸುಜ್ಞಾನವೂ, ಸಾಮರ್ಥ್ಯವೂ ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿವೆ, ವಿವೇಕವೂ ನಾನೇ.
15 By me kings reign, and rulers enact just laws;
೧೫ನನ್ನ ಸಹಾಯದಿಂದ ರಾಜರು ಆಳುವರು, ಅಧಿಪತಿಗಳು ಸಹ ನ್ಯಾಯತೀರಿಸುವರು.
16 By me princes rule, and all nobles who govern justly.
೧೬ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕ ಪ್ರಭುಗಳು, ನಾಯಕರು ಅಂತು ಭೂಪತಿಗಳೆಲ್ಲರೂ ದೊರೆತನ ಮಾಡುವರು.
17 I love those who love me, and those who seek me early shall find me.
೧೭ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರನ್ನು ನಾನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತೇನೆ, ಆತುರದಿಂದ ಹುಡುಕುವವರು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಕಂಡುಕೊಳ್ಳುವರು.
18 With me are riches and honor, enduring wealth and righteousness.
೧೮ನನ್ನಲ್ಲಿ ಧನ, ಘನತೆ, ಶ್ರೇಷ್ಠಸಂಪತ್ತೂ, ನೀತಿಯೂ ಇರುತ್ತವೆ.
19 My fruit is better than gold, pure gold, and my harvest surpasses choice silver.
೧೯ನನ್ನಿಂದಾಗುವ ಫಲವು ಬಂಗಾರಕ್ಕಿಂತಲೂ ಹೌದು ಅಪರಂಜಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಉತ್ತಮ. ನನ್ನ ಮೂಲಕವಾದ ಆದಾಯವು ಚೊಕ್ಕ ಬೆಳ್ಳಿಗಿಂತಲೂ ಅಮೂಲ್ಯವಾಗಿದೆ.
20 I walk in the way of righteousness, along the paths of justice,
೨೦ನಾನು ಹಿಡಿದಿರುವ ದಾರಿಯು ನೀತಿಯೇ, ನ್ಯಾಯಮಾರ್ಗಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಡೆಯುತ್ತೇನೆ.
21 bestowing wealth on those who love me and making their treasuries full.
೨೧ಹೀಗಿರಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುವವರಿಗೆ ಧನದ ಬಾಧ್ಯತೆಯನ್ನು ಅನುಗ್ರಹಿಸಿ, ಅವರ ಬೊಕ್ಕಸಗಳನ್ನು ತುಂಬಿಸುವೆನು.
22 The LORD created me as His first course, before His works of old.
೨೨ಯೆಹೋವನು ತನ್ನ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕ್ರಮದಲ್ಲಿ ಮೊದಲು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ನಿರ್ಮಿಸಿದನು; ಆತನ ಪುರಾತನಕಾರ್ಯಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ನಾನೇ ಪ್ರಥಮ.
23 From everlasting I was established, from the beginning, before the earth began.
೨೩ಪ್ರಾರಂಭದಲ್ಲಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯು ಹುಟ್ಟುವುದಕ್ಕಿಂತ ಮುಂಚೆ, ಅನಾದಿಕಾಲದಲ್ಲಿ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಲ್ಪಟ್ಟೆನು.
24 When there were no watery depths, I was brought forth, when no springs were overflowing with water.
೨೪ಜಲನಿಧಿಗಳಾಗಲಿ, ನೀರು ತುಂಬಿದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳಾಗಲಿ ಇಲ್ಲದಿರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದೆನು.
25 Before the mountains were settled, before the hills, I was brought forth,
೨೫ಬೆಟ್ಟಗುಡ್ಡಗಳು ಬೇರೂರಿ ನಿಲ್ಲುವುದಕ್ಕೆ ಮುಂಚೆ ಆತನು ಭೂಲೋಕವನ್ನಾಗಲಿ, ಬಯಲನ್ನಾಗಲಿ,
26 before He made the land or fields, or any of the dust of the earth.
೨೬ಭೂಮಿಯ ಮೊದಲನೆಯ ಅಣುರೇಣನ್ನಾಗಲಿ ನಿರ್ಮಿಸದೆ ಇರುವಾಗ ನಾನು ಹುಟ್ಟಿದೆನು.
27 I was there when He established the heavens, when He inscribed a circle on the face of the deep,
೨೭ಆತನು ಸಾಗರದ ಮೇಲೆ ಚಕ್ರಾಕಾರವಾದ ಗೆರೆಯನ್ನು ಎಳೆದು, ಆಕಾಶಮಂಡಲವನ್ನು ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸುವಾಗ ಅಲ್ಲಿದ್ದೆನು.
28 when He established the clouds above, when the fountains of the deep gushed forth,
೨೮ಆತನು ಗಗನವನ್ನು ಮೇಲೆ ಸ್ಥಿರಪಡಿಸಿ, ಸಾಗರದ ಬುಗ್ಗೆಗಳನ್ನು ನೆಲೆಗೊಳಿಸಿದನು.
29 when He set a boundary for the sea, so that the waters would not surpass His command, when He marked out the foundations of the earth.
೨೯ಪ್ರವಾಹಗಳು ತನ್ನ ಅಪ್ಪಣೆಯನ್ನು ಮೀರದ ಹಾಗೆ ಆತನು ಸಮುದ್ರಕ್ಕೆ ಮೇರೆಯನ್ನು ನೇಮಿಸಿ, ಭೂಮಿಯ ಅಸ್ತಿವಾರಗಳನ್ನು ಗೊತ್ತುಮಾಡುವಾಗ,
30 Then I was a skilled craftsman at His side, and His delight day by day, rejoicing always in His presence.
೩೦ನಾನು ಆತನ ಹತ್ತಿರ ಶಿಲ್ಪಿಯಾಗಿದ್ದುಕೊಂಡು ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಆನಂದಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಯಾವಾಗಲೂ ಆತನ ಮುಂದೆ ವಿನೋದಿಸುತ್ತಾ,
31 I was rejoicing in His whole world, delighting together in the sons of men.
೩೧ಆತನ ಭೂಲೋಕದಲ್ಲಿ ಉಲ್ಲಾಸಿಸುತ್ತಾ, ಮಾನವಸಂತಾನದಲ್ಲಿ ಹರ್ಷಿಸುತ್ತಾ ಇದ್ದೆನು.
32 Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.
೩೨ಮಕ್ಕಳೇ, ಈಗ ನನ್ನ ಕಡೆಗೆ ಕಿವಿಗೊಡಿರಿ, ನನ್ನ ಮಾರ್ಗಗಳನ್ನು ಅನುಸರಿಸುವವರು ಧನ್ಯರೇ ಸರಿ.
33 Listen to instruction and be wise; do not ignore it.
೩೩ನನ್ನ ಉಪದೇಶವನ್ನು ಕೇಳಿರಿ, ಅದನ್ನು ಬಿಡದೆ ಜ್ಞಾನವಂತರಾಗಿರಿ.
34 Blessed is the man who listens to me, watching daily at my doors, waiting at the posts of my doorway.
೩೪ನನ್ನ ದ್ವಾರಗಳ ಬಳಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಪ್ರತಿದಿನವೂ ಕಾಯುತ್ತಾ ಬಾಗಿಲಿನ ನಿಲವುಗಳ ಹತ್ತಿರವಿದ್ದು, ಜಾಗರೂಕನಾಗಿ ನನ್ನ ಮಾತುಗಳನ್ನು ಕೇಳುವವನು ಭಾಗ್ಯವಂತನು.
35 For whoever finds me finds life and obtains the favor of the LORD.
೩೫ಯಾವನು ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನು ಜೀವವನ್ನು ಹೊಂದುತ್ತಾನೆ; ಅವನು ಯೆಹೋವನ ದಯೆಗೆ ಗುರಿಯಾಗುವನು.
36 But he who fails to find me harms himself; all who hate me love death.”
೩೬ಯಾವನು ನನಗೆ ತಪ್ಪುಮಾಡುತ್ತಾನೋ ಅವನು ತನ್ನ ಆತ್ಮಕ್ಕೆ ಕೇಡುಮಾಡಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆ; ನನ್ನನ್ನು ಹಗೆಮಾಡುವವರೆಲ್ಲರೂ ಮರಣವನ್ನು ಪ್ರೀತಿಸುತ್ತಾರೆ.”
