Philippians 2
1 Therefore if you have any encouragement in Christ, if any comfort from His love, if any fellowship with the Spirit, if any affection and compassion,
க்²ரீஷ்டாத்³ யதி³ கிமபி ஸாந்த்வநம்’ கஸ்²சித் ப்ரேமஜாதோ ஹர்ஷ: கிஞ்சித்³ ஆத்மந: ஸமபா⁴கி³த்வம்’ காசித்³ அநுகம்பா க்ரு’பா வா ஜாயதே தர்ஹி யூயம்’ மமாஹ்லாத³ம்’ பூரயந்த
2 then make my joy complete by being like-minded, having the same love, being united in spirit and purpose.
ஏகபா⁴வா ஏகப்ரேமாண ஏகமநஸ ஏகசேஷ்டாஸ்²ச ப⁴வத|
3 Do nothing out of selfish ambition or empty pride, but in humility consider others more important than yourselves.
விரோதா⁴த்³ த³ர்பாத்³ வா கிமபி மா குருத கிந்து நம்ரதயா ஸ்வேப்⁴யோ(அ)பராந் விஸி²ஷ்டாந் மந்யத்⁴வம்’|
4 Each of you should look not only to your own interests, but also to the interests of others.
கேவலம் ஆத்மஹிதாய ந சேஷ்டமாநா: பரஹிதாயாபி சேஷ்டத்⁴வம்’|
5 Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus:
க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய யீஸோ² ர்யாத்³ரு’ஸ²: ஸ்வபா⁴வோ யுஷ்மாகம் அபி தாத்³ரு’ஸோ² ப⁴வது|
6 Who, existing in the form of God, did not consider equality with God something to be grasped,
ஸ ஈஸ்²வரரூபீ ஸந் ஸ்வகீயாம் ஈஸ்²வரதுல்யதாம்’ ஸ்²லாகா⁴ஸ்பத³ம்’ நாமந்யத,
7 but emptied Himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in human likeness.
கிந்து ஸ்வம்’ ஸூ²ந்யம்’ க்ரு’த்வா தா³ஸரூபீ ப³பூ⁴வ நராக்ரு’திம்’ லேபே⁴ ச|
8 And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to death— even death on a cross.
இத்த²ம்’ நரமூர்த்திம் ஆஸ்²ரித்ய நம்ரதாம்’ ஸ்வீக்ரு’த்ய ம்ரு’த்யோரர்த²த: க்ருஸீ²யம்ரு’த்யோரேவ போ⁴கா³யாஜ்ஞாக்³ராஹீ ப³பூ⁴வ|
9 Therefore God exalted Him to the highest place and gave Him the name above all names,
தத்காரணாத்³ ஈஸ்²வரோ(அ)பி தம்’ ஸர்வ்வோந்நதம்’ சகார யச்ச நாம ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ நாம்நாம்’ ஸ்²ரேஷ்ட²ம்’ ததே³வ தஸ்மை த³தௌ³,
10 that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth,
ததஸ்தஸ்மை யீஸு²நாம்நே ஸ்வர்க³மர்த்யபாதாலஸ்தி²தை: ஸர்வ்வை ர்ஜாநுபாத: கர்த்தவ்ய: ,
11 and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
தாதஸ்தே²ஸ்²வரஸ்ய மஹிம்நே ச யீஸு²க்²ரீஷ்ட: ப்ரபு⁴ரிதி ஜிஹ்வாபி⁴: ஸ்வீகர்த்தவ்யம்’|
12 Therefore, my beloved, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence, but now even more in my absence, continue to work out your salvation with fear and trembling.
அதோ ஹே ப்ரியதமா: , யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்யத்³வத் ஸர்வ்வதா³ க்ரியதே தத்³வத் கேவலே மமோபஸ்தி²திகாலே தந்நஹி கிந்த்விதா³நீம் அநுபஸ்தி²தே(அ)பி மயி ப³ஹுதரயத்நேநாஜ்ஞாம்’ க்³ரு’ஹீத்வா ப⁴யகம்பாப்⁴யாம்’ ஸ்வஸ்வபரித்ராணம்’ ஸாத்⁴யதாம்’|
13 For it is God who works in you to will and to act on behalf of His good purpose.
யத ஈஸ்²வர ஏவ ஸ்வகீயாநுரோதா⁴த்³ யுஷ்மந்மத்⁴யே மநஸ்காமநாம்’ கர்ம்மஸித்³தி⁴ஞ்ச வித³தா⁴தி|
14 Do everything without complaining or arguing,
யூயம்’ கலஹவிவாத³ர்விஜதம் ஆசாரம்’ குர்வ்வந்தோ(அ)நிந்த³நீயா அகுடிலா
15 so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without fault in a crooked and perverse generation, in which you shine as lights in the world
ஈஸ்²வரஸ்ய நிஷ்கலங்காஸ்²ச ஸந்தாநாஇவ வக்ரபா⁴வாநாம்’ குடிலாசாரிணாஞ்ச லோகாநாம்’ மத்⁴யே திஷ்ட²த,
16 as you hold forth the word of life, in order that I may boast on the day of Christ that I did not run or labor in vain.
யதஸ்தேஷாம்’ மத்⁴யே யூயம்’ ஜீவநவாக்யம்’ தா⁴ரயந்தோ ஜக³தோ தீ³பகா இவ தீ³ப்யத்⁴வே| யுஷ்மாபி⁴ஸ்ததா² க்ரு’தே மம யத்ந: பரிஸ்²ரமோ வா ந நிஷ்ப²லோ ஜாத இத்யஹம்’ க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய தி³நே ஸ்²லாகா⁴ம்’ கர்த்தும்’ ஸ²க்ஷ்யாமி|
17 But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice with all of you.
யுஷ்மாகம்’ விஸ்²வாஸார்த²காய ப³லிதா³நாய ஸேவநாய ச யத்³யப்யஹம்’ நிவேதி³தவ்யோ ப⁴வேயம்’ ததா²பி தேநாநந்தா³மி ஸர்வ்வேஷாம்’ யுஷ்மாகம் ஆநந்த³ஸ்யாம்’ஸீ² ப⁴வாமி ச|
18 So you too should be glad and rejoice with me.
தத்³வத்³ யூயமப்யாநந்த³த மதீ³யாநந்த³ஸ்யாம்’ஸி²நோ ப⁴வத ச|
19 Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, that I also may be cheered when I learn how you are doing.
யுஷ்மாகம் அவஸ்தா²ம் அவக³த்யாஹமபி யத் ஸாந்த்வநாம்’ ப்ராப்நுயாம்’ தத³ர்த²ம்’ தீமதி²யம்’ த்வரயா யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம்’ ப்ரேஷயிஷ்யாமீதி ப்ரபௌ⁴ ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ குர்வ்வே|
20 I have nobody else like him who will genuinely care for your needs.
ய: ஸத்யரூபேண யுஷ்மாகம்’ ஹிதம்’ சிந்தயதி தாத்³ரு’ஸ² ஏகபா⁴வஸ்தஸ்மாத³ந்ய: கோ(அ)பி மம ஸந்நிதௌ⁴ நாஸ்தி|
21 For all the others look after their own interests, not those of Jesus Christ.
யதோ(அ)பரே ஸர்வ்வே யீஸோ²: க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய விஷயாந் ந சிந்தயந்த ஆத்மவிஷயாந் சிந்தயந்தி|
22 But you know Timothy’s proven worth, that as a child with his father he has served with me to advance the gospel.
கிந்து தஸ்ய பரீக்ஷிதத்வம்’ யுஷ்மாபி⁴ ர்ஜ்ஞாயதே யத: புத்ரோ யாத்³ரு’க் பிது: ஸஹகாரீ ப⁴வதி ததை²வ ஸுஸம்’வாத³ஸ்ய பரிசர்ய்யாயாம்’ ஸ மம ஸஹகாரீ ஜாத: |
23 So I hope to send him as soon as I see what happens with me.
அதஏவ மம பா⁴வித³ஸா²ம்’ ஜ்ஞாத்வா தத்க்ஷணாத் தமேவ ப்ரேஷயிதும்’ ப்ரத்யாஸா²ம்’ குர்வ்வே
24 And I trust in the Lord that I myself will come soon.
ஸ்வயம் அஹமபி தூர்ணம்’ யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபம்’ க³மிஷ்யாமீத்யாஸா²ம்’ ப்ரபு⁴நா குர்வ்வே|
25 But I thought it necessary to send back to you Epaphroditus, my brother, fellow worker, and fellow soldier, who is also your messenger and minister to my needs.
அபரம்’ ய இபாப்²ரதீ³தோ மம ப்⁴ராதா கர்ம்மயுத்³தா⁴ப்⁴யாம்’ மம ஸஹாயஸ்²ச யுஷ்மாகம்’ தூ³தோ மதீ³யோபகாராய ப்ரதிநிதி⁴ஸ்²சாஸ்தி யுஷ்மத்ஸமீபே தஸ்ய ப்ரேஷணம் ஆவஸ்²யகம் அமந்யே|
26 For he has been longing for all of you and is distressed because you heard he was ill.
யத: ஸ யுஷ்மாந் ஸர்வ்வாந் அகாங்க்ஷத யுஷ்மாபி⁴ஸ்தஸ்ய ரோக³ஸ்ய வார்த்தாஸ்²ராவீதி பு³த்³த்⁴வா பர்ய்யஸோ²சச்ச|
27 He was sick indeed, nearly unto death. But God had mercy on him, and not only on him but also on me, to spare me sorrow upon sorrow.
ஸ பீட³யா ம்ரு’தகல்போ(அ)ப⁴வதி³தி ஸத்யம்’ கிந்த்வீஸ்²வரஸ்தம்’ த³யிதவாந் மம ச து³: கா²த் பரம்’ புநர்து³: க²ம்’ யந்ந ப⁴வேத் தத³ர்த²ம்’ கேவலம்’ தம்’ ந த³யித்வா மாமபி த³யிதவாந்|
28 Therefore I am all the more eager to send him, so that when you see him again you may rejoice, and I may be less anxious.
அதஏவ யூயம்’ தம்’ விலோக்ய யத் புநராநந்தே³த மமாபி து³: க²ஸ்ய ஹ்ராஸோ யத்³ ப⁴வேத் தத³ர்த²ம் அஹம்’ த்வரயா தம் அப்ரேஷயம்’|
29 Welcome him in the Lord with great joy, and honor men like him,
அதோ யூயம்’ ப்ரபோ⁴: க்ரு’தே ஸம்பூர்ணேநாநந்தே³ந தம்’ க்³ரு’ஹ்லீத தாத்³ரு’ஸா²ந் லோகாம்’ஸ்²சாத³ரணீயாந் மந்யத்⁴வம்’|
30 because he nearly died for the work of Christ, risking his life to make up for your deficit of service to me.
யதோ மம ஸேவநே யுஷ்மாகம்’ த்ருடிம்’ பூரயிதும்’ ஸ ப்ராணாந் பணீக்ரு’த்ய க்²ரீஷ்டஸ்ய கார்ய்யார்த²ம்’ ம்ரு’தப்ராயே(அ)ப⁴வத்|
